It's been almost a year since I last posted a thread like this, and I figured I'd post another one! Here's some cool info and thoughts about each of the Pokémon fusions that I posted:

Torsire - Has Water Absorb, turning its 4x Water weakness into free healing. Great movepool as well, and pretty solid stats. Also, he's a happy boi.

Litvoir - Awesome design, awesome typing! I can't wait to see how it turns out when Litwick evolves (I still need to get Dusk Stones too).

Umbvoir - Insane defensive profile and typing; Dark and Fairy types complement each other really well. Just as a heads-up, though, Umbvoir's movepool is lackluster without access to certain TMs and move tutors.

Honxew & Doubxew - Steel/Dragon typing and designs that make them look like little dragon knights? Sold.

Trubedge - Shares a cool type combination with Gastly/Haunter/Gengar and has a great movepool with lots of both offensive and utility options. The clear crystal blade was such a cool idea on this sprite!

Magnedoom - It's like someone turned Cerberus into a biblically accurate angel robot, and it has the same typing as Heatran except it's actually decently fast with access to both Dark and Electric type coverage.

Godos - One of my favorite physical attackers in my current randomizer playthrough; movepool is a little lacking, and I wish it had a decent physical Flying-type STAB, but it has access to great abilities (notably Intimidate) and has really chunky physical stats.

Phantiard - Makeshift Kartana with some great coverage moves and awesome sprites; sounds cool to me!

Spheorb - Ball.

Gyaraiard - I love the hat.

Wimler - Bug/Ground typing is cool, and I bet that upon evolution he would be very strong with great coverage options.

Porybat - Honestly, all of the Porygon combinations that I've seen have been really cool, but this has to be one of my favorites. Normal/Dragon is a really neat type combination that grants Ghost-type immunity, and it has pretty much any move you could want in its movepool.

Hey reddit,

I've played a lot of infinite fusion. Probably too much. But I'm having some issues with the mobile version.

I usually play on the steamdeck but came into a shocking amount of free time at work while at the office and wanted to play on my phone.

I have up and running in a mostly fine state, but I cant get the fast forward button to work (I've mapped Q and L for it, neither appear to do anything).

Secondly, on steamdeck if I fuse and unfuse a mon it reshuffle their pokemon ability but that doesnt appear to work on mobile. Or I hit thick fat on marril 8 times in a row....

Anyone else seen this?

Why does this crash happen?

Hey guys I was wondering if fusing (with desired Pokémon in body), selecting the nature, then unfusing, would transfer the nature to the body Pokémon. I've seen people talk about it online but I can't get it to work. If it's nonsense please let me know. Thank you.

You know the drill, help me choose My starter

I was wondering if there was any way to play the game on Mac or iOS. I know with the death if whiskey it’s a bit harder, but was still wandering if it’s possible. I’ve seen a few vids out there, but they recommend using sites other than the discord, and I know that’s a big no-no according to yall.

I did a hard randomized mode, keeping all the randomizations “fair” according to my standards. Legendaries randomize to legendaries, commons randomize to commons. That meant some of my team members were late additions, as I acquired their fusion parts late-game.

I had larvesta and mamoswine fused for the majority of the game, as well as deino/trapinch, and trevanent/meganium. This final team feels way better though, and i’m very happy with my E4 run!

Device is a Samsung galaxy A16 5g. My phone isn't on the compatibility list or the incompatible list. The game works almost perfectly besides some issues like the one above. So far only a small section of a route after the forest before the city and this city is glitched. Does anyone know how to fix or know if my phone is just incompatible? I tried optimization but that did not work. I tried deleting and redownloaded everything from the discord but it still doesn't fix it. The map still functions normally its just the display thats messed up.

I had trouble finding much info on this, so figured I'd post it.

As most people know, or are finding out, fusing then unfusing pokemon no longer randomizes the IVs of the head pokemon. While I think overall this was a good change, it does mean you have very little control over IVs when fusing two legendaries.

When testing things out for myself (on mobile v6.8.2), I realized that the IVs of the head pokemon are still randomized on fusions obtained from wonder trades, at least when unfusing the first time.

Steps to replicate:

- wonder trade until you get the pokemon you want

- change owner to yourself in Violet city

- save game

- ensure the pokemon you want is the head, reverse if not (body IVs appear to be decided during the trade)

- unfuse and check IVs

Does anyone know what happens to the Move Tutor moves like Tail Glow that supposedly leave once a month with the moves comes in the game?

Do Ampharos fusions no longer get Tail Glow?

I finished my 1st ever playthrough of Infinite Fusion & it was pretty fun! To be honest, I did maybe a little too much research on team build, but I wanted to play like I was a kid again. For Johto games, I would trade eggs from a main file into another game so I could run through it again, which is why I debugged it.

I choose Bulbasaur as my starter & wanted to make sure it could defeat Blue's final Pokémon in the League. I was considered an Electric type to go Electric/Poison, but I decided on a Storm Drain ability to wipe away Squirtle then use the Rock/Poison type to defeat Blastoise/Charizard.

Nidoking/Pidgeot was no sweat as my Levitate Rotom/Primeape handled it pretty nicely. The only crazy addition to this guy was Foresight as I have it slated to assist postgame with Ghost that would be weak to Fighting like Normal & Dark. This is using the Electric/Fighting combo.

I went a little crazy with Electivire/Gyarados as my math made it so I would use a Ground type once bringing it to earth. That said, I had to find a Water Absorb Pokémon that could learn Smack Down bringing forth the fun Krookodile/Mantine combo for Ground/Flying.

My favorite design was set to face Tauros/Exeggutor as not only was the look of it cool, but this Houndoom/Scizor was given Flash Fire for cheeky shenanigans. It really stunk when finding a Fighting type since this Dark/Steel got clobbered for those battles, but it was solid!

At this point, I didn't want all my team to simply null a weakness which is where Ninetales/Sceptile comes in. Grass is needed later for Cynthia & I would prefer to hit hard so I called upon Drought & Solarbeam to wreck with this Grass/Fire duo. Oh, it did wonders to be faster than Starmie/Alakazam so there was that also.

Finally, kind of a wild card, but since Ground was used already, the only type left to eliminate the Fire/Ground Rhyperior/Magmortar was Water. Somewhere, it was found that a Fairy type would be needed so that was where I found the combo of Togekiss/Milotic to be Water/Fairy. Even though I screwed up somewhere & it had Competitive for the ability for part of the playthrough, I changed it so Moonblast, Scald, Ice Beam, & Psychic could benefit off of Serene Grace if possible.

I’ve been wanting to frankensprite poltchaegist and scovillian but it’s way too hard. anyone able to do it?

Hey guys going for my second playthrough, but I had a question regarding the magic boots. On my original playthrough I caught the majority of the unfused dex before I was made aware that the boots weren’t available on a randomized file. So I was curious on if I could do a new game plus with my old file that was on random, and play on classic and still get the boots. Thanks ahead of time!
