It's about time for our annual Halloween costume contest. All participants will get a prize, and, of course, the individual who wins in each category will get a bigger prize. There will be multiple winners.

HOW IT WORKS:

Participants need to comment below with their friend code and any suggestions for frogs that match a costume idea. Name the specific frog AND what the costume is.

Example: Tangelo Aurum Lanterna is a Jack-o-Lantern. (This one is officially off limits.)

Entries will close October 26. At that point, mods will compile all suggestions into one of three categories: single, pair, group (limit of 8 frogs in any group). Depending on what the suggestions are, we may group by theme instead. Dunno yet.

On October 26, I'll post the groups in a new post for the community to vote. Each individual can vote for one selection from each category. (You may NOT vote for your own.)

The first three in each category will get a prize (first place will get a better prize than third). Mods will also pick their favorites, entirely because we can. I'd say we'll pick one from each category, but honestly, we're just gonna pick whatever we like. Mod abuse is allowed when it means more people get more prizes.

Winners will be announced on Halloween.

RULES:

Anyone can participate. You do NOT need to have the frogs or provide the frogs. If you don't have all species unlocked in your dex, you can look up the options online. Only existing colors may be used.

There is no limit to the number of suggestions each player can make. Go crazy. You also don't need to keep all of your suggestions to one comment. Add as ideas come to you.

ANY theme is fine. These do not have to be Halloween related.

Pair suggestions are limited to two frogs. Group suggestions are limited to 8 max but must have at least three.

7. Do not delete your posts or replies in this sub. Mods use post and comment history to settle disputes. Private history is available now and mods can still see what is posted in their subs. However, other members cannot, and will not likely share Regifters sets with you if you have no sub history.
8. Spoilers are ALLOWED in this community. There is no need to blur anything. If you want to blur a new species that is fine, but no one is required to do it. Like any other game or show, if you don't want to be spoiled you should check your game updates before you get on social media. If there is a new species out, and it matters to you, we recommend staying off sub until you have it.

MORE REGIFTING INFO

1. Mods expect OPs wishes for regifting back to this sub be respected. However, we do not expect you to back up your habitats and be unable to have room for new sets.

2. We do not like to see anyone claiming so much that their mailbox will be backed up for days keeping sets out of rotation. Please do not claim more than you can tame and reshare within a couple of days.

   Please so not claim color wheels above your level.

3. We do not keep members who delete posts or comments from this sub. Doing so lends to the appearance of impropriety should another member take issue with your regifting habits in mod mail. If you delete your history, expect to be banned.

4. We ask that you post your unclaimed sets again, sometime in the next day or so. Maybe in a slightly different window where there may be more sub activity? You can label this post as a last call if you wish. If they remain unclaimed by the next day you can sell or gift them elsewhere as you wish. Please read 3. Again.
