Hey gang! My OCD nerd brain is all abuzz thinking about the proliferation of series rewatch video podcasts that have been coming out of late. I know that there are plenty, but I'm thinking specifically about pods like Talk Ville, Battlestar React-ica, and Podlandia (not to mention the soon-to-begin A Full Circle). For those of us who are crazy enough to want to collect these, how should we do it?

I have been adding one of these to my server as "Specials" and naming / adding metadata manually. It's only once a week, so not a huge deal. But that also means you get a HUGE "season" of Specials that you need to scroll through. And now I find myself wanting to gather more of these. But adding them as a series presents its own challenges, since they're not listed in TMDB as shows.

Some questions for the community:

1. Which makes more sense, adding each podcast episode as a new Special, or creating a series and breaking them into seasons? (Talk Ville does a good job of splitting up seasons as playlists on their YouTube page.)

2. If setting them up as series is better, how do we get TMDB to add them as shows so that the metadata can auto populate? I've submitted a couple of them, but only one that I've tried (Talk Ville) is also listed on IMDB, so I don't know how that metadata gets pulled in on their end. Any way for us to help with this (other than manually adding stuff)?

3. Is anyone interested in creating some series posters for some of these? If so, I'd love them in the style of the regular series poster but also incorporating the podcast artwork.

4. Am I the only insane person thinking about this?

I have been trying to find a poster that represents all four shows in the Big Bang Theory universe but none seems to exist. Does anyone know of or willing to make one?

Was wondering if anyone had a poster for a collection of all versions of The Traitors.

Anyone have the contination variant of these 3, to the 4th of the brand new day by chance?

Hi All!

I'm Rett! Designer by trade, fan-editor by hobby (Rettflix), and a longtime user of Plex.

For whatever reason, I prefer my TV Show collection to have a minimalist look and feel to it. For the posters...black background, just the logo. No more, no less. My Movie collection is full of incredible artwork, but! The TV Shows, i just prefer it to be uniformed and minimal i guess.

Anyhoo, while i was clearing some space on my PC, I uploaded my "Rett's Minimalist Logo-Only TV Show Poster Pack" to my Google Drive. It has 306 TV Show Posters i personally created to appease my own OCD. lol.

I figured, why not share it with the community?

As previously stated, there are 306 posters I've created over the years with that simple, minimalist look. Whether it was to add a new vibe, add some character, or simply to enhance the quality of the poster....it was a fun project, and looks super clean on my TV.

All posters are in PNG format. 6000x4000 pixels. 100 DPI.

If you're interested, slide all up in my DMs! I won't mind. I'm not on TPDB/MediUX, simply because I don't want to upload 306 individual posters. Just the thought of i makes me tired. lol.

Want them all...there's a zip file (1.74GB). Want just a couple...there's a folder with each poster, where you can pick and choose. Want the txt file to see if it's worth your time...yup! It's in there too.

I appreciate your time. Hit me up!

Hey everyone !

Just finished a new poster for Spider-Man: Brand New Day in the Matt Ferguson-inspired style 🙂

I reworked the official artwork to better fit the aesthetic of the collection, adjusting the shadows and colors and adding a custom overlay and title treatment.

You can find the full collection right here.

Quick disclaimer: the goal is simply to fill in the gaps from the existing collections out there - big shoutout to RedHeadJedi for his incredibly complete work. If a poster doesn’t exist in this style yet, I try to make one 🙂

Hope you like it, lmk what you think!

Anyone know where I can get the posters for all the Spider-Man movies (Raimi, Amazing, MCU, Spider-Verse) in this style? Plex seems to have most of them, but not all of them with the formatting just so, which is driving me crazy.

Hi all! Can anyone whip up collection posters for the NY Times's Top 100 of the Century lists, both movie & TV? I've got so many of the TV series and I want to organize them in my library.

Bonus points if you can make one for the Critics/Industry lists and the Audience list!

Can someone explain how this works? I find some amazing posters that you wonderful people create and upload them on TMDB with no issues. However they never show up on letterboxd posters (I have Patron dw).

Why does some of the custom posters transfer from TMDB to letterboxd and others don’t? It seems very unfair that your hard work may get taken down or not even uploaded to letterboxd at all.

Is there a limit of how many you can upload? Do you have to pay to upload more? Is it just random? Any answers would be much appreciated
