Anyone else get frustrated tapping away on the watch's face with no indication if an update is available, why doesn't it make more sense to just be able to check and install updates from your phone's Pixel Watch app?

Well my friends, it seems spray on sunscreen ran down my arm in a rainstorm and crazed the back of my PW3. At the time I realized there was an issue I could see the sensors trying to read my wrist and heartbeat.

It's out of warranty, of course, so I took some 1000 grit sandpaper and wet sanded it. It turned out perfectly smooth. However, the cracks went through the entire back of the watch and as such the sensors now seem to be dead.

Ah well. Caveat imperator and all that. I guess I'll just buy a Grand Seiko Snowflake instead.

Just got the Oct system update for Pixel phones today, and noticed that the rings or line gauge for every weather complications are missing. UV compilation is also misaligned for round complications.

Just now after using the watch since release I noticed today that these colors keep flickering on my screen. I restarted the watch but this didn't help the issue. Is this I known issue or am I unlucky today?

Anyone having this issue after watch face update. So I used to be able to scroll with double pinch from watch face and scroll through notifications. Now I have to tap to get to notifications then pinch scroll. Any ideas if its just me going wrong.

I've been looking everywhere for this face and I can't seem to find it. Can someone please explain to me how to find it? I had it on my Pixel 2 Watch.

So I bought the leather band from Google and it's all well, but the lugs since are all metal, contrary to the the ones that come with watch, make that irritating noise when the watch vibrates. I assume this is because there's a slight gap and movement in the lugs connection. Does anyone has this issue?

Is anyone else seeing crazy floor counts on the Pixel Watch 4? Over the last 30 days (Sep 16 – Oct 15) mine averages 58 floors a day, with some days well over 100 and one around 125. I work in a store with 3 floors and honestly I can't climb more than 30 floors on even the busiest day. Screenshot attached.

The weird part is that the bad days seem to come right after I put the watch on the charger. When I skip charging, the numbers look normal.

Is this a known bug with the barometer? Does the watch recalibrate pressure after charging and count it as elevation gain? Any workaround, or is a fix coming?

Details: Pixel Watch 4, build CP3A.260905.002, Wear OS core services 1.39.23.947581512, Play Services (watch) 26.39.33, Pixel Watch app 5.1.0.990450614, paired over Bluetooth.

This is the second time I have seen this in a couple months. Any idea on exactly what is getting updated?

Edit:I was curious about what sensors were being updated and what the developers were expecting from those sensors. Changelogs for updates are not an unusual thing to ask.

I got myself a Pixel Watch 4 (41mm) a few months ago and I really like it. Integration with my Pixel 8 Pro is flawless, everything syncs automatically and the HR sensor is great as well.

But why the hell are so many bands for the Pixel Watch just complete garbage? Even the abysmally expensive Google bands don't fit perfectly, like this two tone leather band in the image. Almost all aftermarket bands, including the "premium" ones like Spigen suffer from inherently bad connectors. They rattle, look horrible and sometimes almost fall off when doing activities.

Do you guys have any recommendations for some premium connectors that look similar to the one in the picture (and ship to EU at best)? All I want is a quality adapter to be able to use regular watch bands.

The only band that fits perfectly is the original silicone band that came with the watch.

My Pixel Watch 2 has started glitching after a recent update. The sensor which keeps your watch unlocked as long as it is on your wrist has stopped working, because I'm being asked to input my pattern every time the watch wakes up. The heart rate sensor has also stopped working. Workout sessions no longer capture my heart rate and the ECG app doesn't detect my finger on the crown.

Is anyone else facing such issues, and has anyone figured out a solution to the problem? I've already tried a watch reset to no avail.

I have a Pixel Watch 3 and was wondering if anyone else has this issue after the most recent update. I could have it plugged in for 4+ hours amd it still wont be fully charged. Also seems like the battery life dropped significantly. Used to be able to go 2 days without charging, and now im getting about a day from about 80% down to 20ish%

I was astonished to go into pixel watch app and discover new faces that must have been added very recently.

Moreover, there is a create mode that when you select it, on your watch the microphone icon appears and asks you to describe what you want.

I just gave a very quick prompt of " 1980s digital retro ' and it created it.

Can't believe I haven't heard of this already but it seems really cool.

Is there a way to find out what version of watch I have ?

My PW1 died recently and I wanted to upgrade. Does anyone have a PW5 with Pixel 7? I'm curious how those two work together and what functions are missing if any.

If these two are hella non compatible, I was wondering if PW4 would be a better choice.

Loving it so far, blazing fast, much faster compared to the PW3, and the watch faces are something else. Imported it from the US in Brazil btw.

I'm still on August 5, 2026. Android version 17. It's now October 14, 2026 and it says I'm up to date.

This is an odd issue, I wanted to add an app notification to the watch and opened Watch App on the phone only to be greeted by the "add your watch" which it doesn't find unless I transfer the watch, and even then it still doesn't see it. But all the alerts/messages still come through. Is it the watch or is it the phone? I'm learning towards the phone as it is exhibiting some strange things lately and I'm fully prepared to reset it if needed.

I just received a sports strap very similar to the original Google one I bought on AliExpress, and it attaches perfectly, doesn't move an inch, and is very comfortable.

started this morning. up until then over the last month, everything was fine.

i have a PW5. my steps and calories are logged in Google health... My fitness pal carried over my calorie intake, but it's not recording my steps to MFP. I've tried restarting my phone, resynced it and still not picking up my steps from GH to MFP.

from my PW to GH... it's all there.

Anyv ideas?

So I have a pixel watch 4 linked to Strava and it's worked perfectly for over a year.

However tonight I went for a run and when the watch synched to Strava the run data uploaded as normal but no map is showing?

If I look in Fitbit app at the run, the map is there so the watch recorded it but it's just not showing on Strava.

I haven't changed any map privacy so just curious if this has happened to anyone else?
