Can Google Create this masterpiece again. Pixel 4a was one of the best in lineup. I miss this phone badly. Is there any way we can crowdfund this or someone can reach out to google to create this gem again

Seriously bro. I have been waiting for a phone like this. And thought of buying iphone 18 but looking at the price i fainted and thought of buying another pixel 4a from eBay or whatever. 😭😭

And especially because iPhones 17 and 18 Pro look dumb.

I’ve recently switched to iPhone 17 because of the 4a battery and Google Pixels becoming shit but I miss this little monster. Just give him latest specs, bigger battery and 120Hz - dream phone.

Just get another pixel. After my 4A. I went to a 6A but my 6A broke so I upgraded to a 9A

They can (could) definitely create a smaller phone, but it will not fit the modern cameras and it would not be an top device. It would be a line similar to Samsung lower A line series and it would be less powerful than Google Pixel A series. Do we want that?

I mean I would like Google Pixel with a new android and better CPU, but .. not sure it is realistic.

I suspect the real problem is demand and economics. Compact phones have a loyal fanbase, but apparently not a very large one, Apple dropped the iPhone mini after weak sales, and ASUS also moved away from its compact Zenfone. Google would have to develop and manufacture another chassis, display and battery configuration for relatively few buyers.

Mini was never good on specs Google a series always made sure that there hardware is not mediocre

Unfortunately today's software is too bloated for its tiny battery.

GrapheneOS fixes this.

Certainly a fix for the OS but not for apps.

Just install LIneage OS and use it. It still has updates.

as someone who recently had to switch back to the 4a. I have some thoughts. I think the size is good. Well I like the large pixel phone I have now (9a) I appreciated the smaller size being easier to hold in one hand. However, the rear fingerprint sensor was very frustrating as I had to put my phone out of my phone holder to unlock it. The under screen is much easier. The camera still holds up pretty well today. The battery life was bad but that's because they received the death update around a day after I started using it again. Overall it's not a bad phone but I don't think I would want Google to bring it back. I much preferred using my 6A and now the 9A I recently bought

FR, this was almost perfect (smaller battery) phone for me. Small form factor, lightweight, headphone jack, great camera, Oled screen, stereo speakers, back fingerprint, stock android, fast enough processor to carry normal daily task 😩

Create it again? It's already created. You can pick up one for cheap, then install LineageOS for an up to date OS and you are good to go.

Why lineage OS if they can make a good phone

He's saying you could just get a pixel 4a and update it to the latest software with lineage
