My office goes super hard for birthdays! I just finished Outlander and am OBSESSED. They knocked it out of the park! so nice for Jamie to show up :)

Ok so I went to Walmart and decided to look at the hallmark ornaments. This abomination caught my eye and oh my goodness! What did they do to Jaimie? Whoever is behind this design needs to be fired because what the actual heck!?

I wanted to do an Outlander themed spread now that I've finished last season. I enjoyed making this so much!

I miss this show so much! I found these two at a local Box Lunch store, and now I'm cracking myself up remembering some of the funniest lines/scenes in the series!

I miss you Outlander!

Theory/speculation

Watching the prequel and knowing Claire's parents are time travellers,do you think Uncle Lamb is one and why. As an archaeologist, it would be a great asset. What do you think?

If you're going to the Outlander Concert on November 14th you're in for a treat. Bear McCreary and Raya Yarbrough will be special guests.

Last fall I watched the series for the first time, this fall I’m reading it. I have about 100 pages left in the first book, and I’m loving it so much. It perfectly matches the vibe I want right now

Hi Everyone!!!

I am in urgent need of an opinion - I am putting together an outlander inspired costume for not only halloween but the Outlander In Concert touring production that ill be going to soon. I need opinions from other outlander fans as to what you think goes together well and is very "outlander/fraser" style. The corset is a navy blue - i currently have the tan tartan skirt but I am debating on switching it for the blue. Thoughts?

Happy birthday, Caitriona! 🎂

Thanks for bringing Claire Beauchamp Randall Fraser to the screen! ❤️

May your special day be filled with love and joy. Cheers to you and the amazing year ahead.🍾🥂

This is my first major knitting project and I’m really happy with how it turned out. Made it for a friend & fellow Outlander fan for her birthday :)

I've been re-watching Outlander and BOMB and it made me realize that time travel is a thing. When Rodger went back on time and was able to save his father. Im thinking Clair will be able to do the same for her daughter before she got on the boat. I also think she might find her mother and father depending on how BOMB goes and when the cross over happens if it does happen. I'm rewatching outlander and when clair says her last name Beauchamp and then Colleen pronounces it another way. He met Henry Beauchamp in BOMB so he might have put 2 and 2 together. Anyways if this doesn't make sense sorry but great show! Ill be rewatching outlander while waiting for the new episodes of bomb.

It is on Acorn - and I thought she did a great job as she (her character) progressed through the story. There is one scene, in one of the late episodes, where the transition of her facial expression made her into a different person...

Trying not to give anything away.

Happy to answer questions if you’ve got ‘em😊 Sorry I didn’t get better pics during the Q&A!

First off, every frame is STUNNING. The film’s biggest strength is arguably how beautifully it’s shot and how effectively it evokes the atmosphere of a bleak, isolating (and yet strangely cozy?) winter.

The story’s slower pace may be too slow for some, but I was never bored or disengaged. That said, while I appreciate Haigh was extremely faithful to the source material…I’m not sure this kind of restraint works as well on screen. There were of course some very moving moments, but I was never bowled over in the way I’d hoped I’d be (imo, the final scene with Mikey and Louise should’ve been a gut punch, but it sadly wasn’t). I wanted just a little…more!

Unsurprisingly, one of the things I wanted more of is Caitríona. Later scenes would’ve hit harder had we spent just a little more time getting to know Louise and her relationship with Mikey. But Caitríona does amazing things in what little active screentime she has (~20 minutes) despite some accent inconsistencies (which still weirdly works from a character standpoint). Her performance in this movie makes me SO excited to continue following her career—we have barely scratched the surface of what she is capable of. I really, really hope to see her in more indie films like this.

All in all, a beautiful, quiet film about grief and coming of age. I think it’s one that will continue to creep up on in me in the coming days—and one that will probably benefit from a second viewing! I’ll see it again in January😊

I know Hamilton was proud of his Scottish roots, which Lin-Manuel Miranda played up on in the musical by always calling him an immigrant. But how would he have been with actual Scottish immigrants, like Jamie and his new tenants? We already saw George Washington, Governor Tryon and other important figures of the pre-revolution colonies.

This is insanely adorable, and you can’t argue the casting wasn’t spot on.

I ordered this from BookDelivery/Buscalibre for £20 on 19th July, it was dispatched on 23rd Sept and arrived 25th Sept. Gorgeous matte cover with shiny detailing, iconic Fraser tartan edging, and a new introduction from Diana. If you can get one, buy one! It is gorgeous!

There’s probably a lot of the same crew that worked on Outlander. Same executive producers. I think she would do a really good job.
