📸 Before you post, keep these guidelines in mind:

1️⃣ ORIGINAL SOLO CONTENT

Your post must feature original content of yourself and/or your partner. If you're posting your partner, make sure you have their permission and tag their Reddit username in the post body.

2️⃣ USE THE “SOLO POST SATURDAY” FLAIR Posts participating in Solo Post Saturday must use the designated “Solo Post Saturday” flair. This helps keep the event organized and makes it easier for the community to discover and enjoy participating posts. Posts using the event theme without the correct flair may be removed or asked to be re-flair'd.

3️⃣ NO AI-GENERATED OR STOLEN CONTENT

AI-generated people/content, stolen photos, reposted content, catfished images, or content belonging to someone else will be removed. Accounts may be placed under moderator review.

4️⃣ PUT SOME EFFORT INTO YOUR POST

We're encouraging artistic, thoughtful photography — not simply "snap and post." Good lighting, composition, posing, creativity, setting, and presentation are encouraged.

5️⃣ NO CONTENT THEFT

Don't download and repost someone else's work. Credit does not equal permission when the content isn't yours.

6️⃣ NO PROMOTION OR SELLING

Solo Post Saturday is about sharing creativity and confidence, not advertising, selling content, or directing users toward paid content unless specifically permitted by the community rules.

7️⃣ RESPECT THE COMMUNITY

Compliment the art, effort, photography, or presentation — not with disrespectful, objectifying, or unsolicited comments. No harassment, unwanted DMs, or creepy requests.

8️⃣ WATERMARK YOUR CONTENT

Watermarking is strongly encouraged to help protect your original photography and identify the creator.

9️⃣ FOLLOW THE COMMUNITY RULES

Event participation does not override the subreddit rules. Posts that violate the guidelines may be removed, and repeat or serious violations may result in further moderator action.

We would also ask of you to put Solo Post Saturdays as your flair, for us to know that your posts are on Saturdays to avoid possible rule-breaking. This would also make it easier for us mods to navigate the posts in the subreddit regarding SPS. Any solo posts posted on Saturdays without the Solo Post Saturdays Flair would result in post removal and be counted as a rule-break for the No Solo Posting or Rule 13. Now of course this announcement being made right after the first one means that solo posts posted today WON'T be removed.
