My friend and I are from Karachi, he was born in peshawar and is from there originally. He told me he wanted to host a tedx there and I instantly agreed cz duh what better time and we have volunteered for a lot of tedx events so we kinda can now. We are willing to have a deep research but if anyone have tips? We intend to keep the cost for logistics close to zero and will be working from Karachi and go there one week before the event date and stay there then after the event return to Karachi. We will have prolly 5 to 7 ppl from Karachi as the core team and we will travel there. Any ideas for sponsors? Hotels for the week stay of our core team. Food? Local transportation. We intend to keep a cooler youth type audience cz we're planning to keep a concert in it too. And the speakers are also gonna be catering to the younger audience and interests. What do we think? I will be researching but I thought getting some insight from the locals would be best. It's not confirmed given the situation in kpk rn but if fate is in our favor we will indeed hold it

Hey everyone,
Looking for recommendations on the best place in Peshawar to buy stitched / ready-to-wear Shalwar Kameez.
I’m looking for high-quality fabric and good stitching without paying ridiculous brand markups—basically the best bang for the buck. Whether it's a solid local brand, a spot in Saddar, Shafi Market, or a shop along University Road, where do you recommend going?
Appreciate any suggestions!

In Khyber district of Peshawar especially in bara, Khyber market, Qamar Abad chowk there is severe clashes between the police and ppl and some police officers were also beaten severely and also they set fire to Nadra center and also destroy some public properties along with police equipments so the situation at Khyber district is not good.

Do you think the recent Governor’s Rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) will affect how ordinary people view and support the KP Police? Could it reduce public trust and cooperation with the police, or will people continue to support them regardless of the political situation? What are your thoughts, and why?

I have recently joined FIA and have been posted to Peshawar Zone, so I am shifting to Peshawar. I am looking for a hostel / flat room / single room near Hayatabad Phase 5 and nearby areas.
My Requirements:
Hostel / Room Budget: PKR 10,000 to 15,000 per month
Gym: A good gym nearby within PKR 5,000 per month
Preferably a clean, quiet environment suitable for a government job holder.
If anyone knows a good hostel, flat, or has a room available, please comment or inbox me with details and contact number.
JazakAllah

Millennials are honestly so cooked in this society and economy. We grew up believing that if we studied, worked hard, got a decent job, and did everything right, life would eventually fall into place. But here we are, doing our best just to stay afloat. Salaries don't match the cost of living, buying a house feels impossible, getting married is becoming a financial challenge of its own, and there's barely any sense of stability or security left.
And if you're living in KP, congratulations, because you've got a whole different level of problems to deal with. On top of an already fucked economy, there's political instability, security issues, limited opportunities, and constant uncertainty about what comes next. It's exhausting trying to plan a future when you can't even be sure what the next few months will look like.
We're basically stuck between responsibilities we can't escape and a future we can't feel confident about. And the worst part? We're still expected to keep working hard, stay positive, support our families, and somehow make it all work.

Just opened Twitter multiple videos of people being shot including a child. Here really didn't do anything except few protests but across kp people are frustrated.

I want to say Peshawar subreddit mods are compromised and turned out way too meak in the face of current blatant injustice done to people of KP. Do you agree?? Are they going to ban me for my right to exercise freedom of speech?
