Hello! I am searching for an apricot perfume that smells similar to the Essie cuticle oil. It has such a lovely sweet apricot scent that also smells fresh and clean and I just think it is incredible!

I’m looking for a luxurious, bold, deep-red rose perfume. The rose smells intensely juicy, sweet, rich, and full-bodied, possibly jammy, but not obviously fruity. It feels fresh and alive, yet deep and sophisticated. There’s an unusual, almost immaculate quality to it: clean, but not soapy or laundry-like.
The rose is the entire experience. No noticeable supporting florals, citrus, spices, vanilla, musk, powder, vintage character, earthiness, woods, or fuzziness. It doesn’t smell like essential oil or a natural rose extract. It smells like a beautifully composed, luxurious perfume that amplifies the juicy sweetness and depth of a rose in full bloom.
The closest reference is the juicy rose quality in Kilian Forbidden Games, but with a bolder, deeper, more rose-dominant character and absolutely no powderiness.

The sweetness might have a honeyed quality, but that's uncertain. The important thing is that the rose smells naturally juicy and deeply saturated, not fruity.
And the reference remains Kilian Forbidden Games for its juicy rose quality, except my mystery perfume was bolder, deeper, more rose-dominant, and completely free of powder.

Visually it’s like this but luxurious 🥀 not this 🌹.

Please! I’m new to perfumes but I really need a smell like this. I want to smell sweet but I can’t emphasize the peppermint enough!! I feel like this is such a weirdly specific smell but if anyone can help me it’d be appreciated!

For reference: I’d say I like a wide variety of scents except very powdery, heavy floral, or heavy vanilla type scents. Love clean, woody, smoky, fruity, aquatic, and unisex fragrances.

My favorites are Lost Cherry Tom Ford, Glossier You and Glossier Doux, 11:11 Lake and Sky, Santal 33 Le Labo, Black Tea & Sage Dossier, Mon Paris Yves St Laurent, and a discontinued perfume the was tree bark, blood orange, Amber resin, and patchouli.

Hey this is a final part 2 of fragrances of how heavy i used to apply prrfumes before I got into perfumery anf realized I was applying way too much. Now my max is 2 sprays and very rare occasion 3 . (BTW these used to be sprayed all on my chest and pulse points so there wasn't a lot of diffusion)

Instance 1- dolce gabbana light blue forever pour femme 7 sprays

Instance 2 - 30 sprays of aquolina pink sugar

Instance 3 - 8 sprays of wild poppy by nest and 2 prada candy behind the knees

Instance 4- pure rose oil on my pulse points and did NOT smell like pure rose it had a indole undertone

Instance 5- 18 sprays of madam mystique and 3 sprays of narcissco Rodriguez combined

Instance 6 - daisy by marc Jacob's 5 sprays

Instance 7- 13 sprays of miu miu flour d'Argent de perfume absoloute

Thats all the times i recall, they still haunt me but whayevessss

I've been noticing that my perfumes from over a year ago don't smell like they used to. I wasn't sure if it's my sense of smell that's changing or the perfume itself. Just curious if anyone else experiences this.

I own 20+ full-size perfumes, but I still can’t stop myself from wanting to buy more. I keep telling myself to stop, but whenever I discover a new fragrance, the urge comes back. Sometimes I even regret my purchases later.

If the bottle is more “art” or enormous or over-designed and more elaborate than necessary, or it it looks like a woman’s torso- these are designs features I find personally cheesy and wouldnt want on my shelf (my personal opinions about design- to each their own though).

I was wondering if there were any scents that broke these rules that anyone loves despite the bottle design….for example I don’t have a huge urge to get into celebrity perfumes but I was really surprised that Billy Eilish’s perfume bottle was shaped like a naked woman…I would maybe have been interested is smelling it until I saw that. Just curious!

I had smelled Liis Bo a few times and even worn it before I noticed this sort of (non-photorealistic) banana note on top. Is this just me?

I just got my bottle of Vanilla Powder by Matiere Premiere today and I literally can barely smell anything 😭

All I get is a super faint powdery, slightly peppery scent and then nothing. I bought it from an authorized retailer so I’m a little confused lol.

Has this happened to anyone else? Does it get better over time or am I just nose blind to it?

Thunderstorm By Demeter (oil roll on and body oil)

I have loved the roller ball for years, it smells so good its genuinely addictive. I use it for layering or just by itself and I was so excited that they came out with a body oil version.

I ordered the body oil and it smells truly musty and mildew-like on me. I am so bummed and I have no idea why one would smell so good and the other so rank.

If I had any idea this would happen I wouldn't have spent the money

And insight as to why these smell so different on me would be greatly appreciated

This used to be my mums scent in the 90s. I still have the bottle and a little of the scent is left but we do not remember who it is by and I would love rebuy if possible. Only I cannot find it any as its name does not turn any up. It is called “Movie” but google shows me “Cinema”. Do you have any idea who made and whether it is still available somewhere?
