Severance

My plant is going through the summit change now & the people who r taking severance have not been told anything. Like we don’t know how to get our paycheck copies after we turn in phones, insurance or even if they will be paying us for the leftover personal days & vacation days the paper said we would get paid for. People I talk to including hr have no ideal what is going to happen. Any insight

Question To anybody that went from Frontline to Management, how long did it take for the promotion? And did you have the skills for the position?

Are you a college grad or worked from the streets to the offices?
I don’t got the degree, just experience.
Like were you comfortable using Excel, looking at financial data, and all these other tools that managers use day in and day out. I’m tryna get the $$$bag and leveling up is the only option I see.

Need to Recreate a Missing AM Antenna?

I hope this video helps anyone working on a vintage radio with a missing or damaged internal AM antenna.

In this video, I show how I recreated an AM antenna for a rare Pepsi-Cola tube radio using the information and clues available to me.

If you're facing a similar restoration challenge, this may give you some ideas for your own project!

Thanks for watching, and I hope you find it helpful!

Have a great day!

Graduate Engineer Trainee @Pepsico Hyderabad GCC; joining from Jan'27

Heyy

People working as GET or have been converted to FTE at the Hyderabad GCC of PepsiCo, I need some advice and info.

I am a fresh campus hire joining pepsico in January.

Can you guys please tell about-

  1. the CTC breakdown of 10.77lpa

  2. the benefits (insurance, leaves and overtime)

  3. the work culture, how approachable the manager is or how do they handle/guide one intern working on multiple projects.

  4. As an engineer, what projects are given to us... Since PepsiCo is not a software company, will that be good start for my career as a fresher intern?

  5. MOST IMPORTANT: What are the long term growth opportunities, is it performance and discussion based (fair) or depends on if you are on good terms with ur manager?

  6. Some reddit post suggested that PepsiCo hires on campus such that they don't know much abt business requirements and later lay them off.. how true is it?

I'm really worried coz of the other reddit posts about the work culture being unfair in terms of growth opportunities and appraisals.

Question Screening

I recently got offered a merchandiser position with PepsiCo in IL, and my drug test should be sometime this week. I used THC pretty often to help with nausea from chemotherapy, and I’m nervous about failing. Does anyone currently working this position in Illinois know if they test for THC? Any help is appreciated!

Going through project summit atm! Anyone know how much a severance package would be for someone who’s been there for 6 years? I seem to ask but management doesn’t say anything

Company Related What the actual hell happened to this company

Quick backstory, I started with Pepsi in 2016 as a merchandiser making 14 an hour plus commission and I left around the time covid happened. Indra was still the CEO at that time. Unfortunately the place I was working at after Pepsi laid everyone off, and I had actually gotten pretty high up at that job. Well, I reapplied to the plant I used to work at and through a couple of people I still knew and ended up getting hired as a relief specialist. So basically im covering vacations for everyone and have been for the last 4 months. I’ve heard about Pepsi going downhill as a company since I left but I really didn’t think it would happen to my plant. Dude, when I tell you it’s bad, it’s fucking bad. Yes there are more SKUs and products that we have picked up, I’m not talking about that. I’m talking about the leadership and how they don’t give a fuck anymore man. I’ll go into stores and a few of them used to be on my old route and the backroom is just a complete fucking mess, the shelf looks like shit, nothing being rotated I mean its like a completely different environment now. 12 packs are just slung with no care and sticking out looking like a erect dick, 2 liters not faced and just put on the shelf with no care, I mean I get no one is perfect I never was, but that’s just crazy. I’ve found shit sitting in backstock that was out of date at some of these stores I’ve been in. Tried to bring it up to my manager and he just shrugs it off and acts like it’s a normal thing. I honestly don’t know what to say, but they’re also paying the most out of anyone around in my area. It’s just a completely different company and environment than what I came from when I first started

NOT DIET!!!

Does anyone in Alberta or Saskatchewan know how I can get my hands on caffeine free Pepsi? I’m a life long Pepsi lover who can no longer have caffeine due to heart issues. I didn’t quite realize that drinking Pepsi almost daily for 14 years would mean I would I miss Pepsi this much, hoping to find some answers here 🤞🏻

Pepsi Foodservice Turnover

Foodservice turnover has hit a record high within our division, we have lost so much great talent and people with many years of service. Initially they were blaming it on the car program going away, but it is more than clear this is not the issue. It is affecting relationships with our customers and employee morale. Nobody wants these foodservice jobs anymore and leadership can care less, it is very disappointing, we were truly all passionate about our jobs and our customers.

The core 40 (50)

Anyone with OTS accounts? This year Pepsi just decided to randomly force any medal customers into taking a list of core 40 items. Now next year they want to raise it to a core 50. I want to know people’s thoughts about this. On my end, the best thing to do is make as many customers as possible blue because blue is exempt from it. Let’s be honest, most OTS accounts are very small stores that only do a limited amount of business. Only the bigger stores that can compete with corporate gas chains could absorb this. It’s one thing to add more and more rules to medal customers every year but now we are expected to tie customers down to a core 50 list that might not even be profitable to a customer and not only that, we are going to have to bring them in every 12 weeks or a bot will order it if we don’t.
