A quick heads-up about promotional messages
We’ve seen developers of Pax Historia knockoff games attempting to advertise their "games" in our subreddit and through unsolicited DMs to people who post here.
If you receive one of these messages, please report it directly to Reddit, then send us the account’s username and a screenshot through modmail so we can look into it.

Stuff I did Played Danzig on impossible in WW2++, lost the first time, then came back and turned the whole planet into cat names by 1944
First run I played it straight. Followed the League rules, built a small Guard, got Britain and France to guarantee me by name, did everything right. Got shelled in Westerplatte anyway and Danzig fell on day one. Ended up as a government in exile in London. GG. >.>
So second run I said screw the League. Arrested Forster in December 1935, built an actual army, made a secret deal with Poland to split East Prussia, and pulled Poland and the Baltics into a defense pact. By 1938 I had tungsten armored tanks and radar, and I talked Czechoslovakia into refusing Munich. Hitler invaded anyway, I took East Prussia in a week, then Pomerania, and Berlin fell in March 1939. My special forces captured Hitler. The war ended before it was supposed to start.
Then it got stupid. I had a wartime mascot and put her name up to a popular vote, and the AI decided on its own that the people chose Danzig-chan, then renamed the country to the Free City of Nyanzig, invented the internet, and put a satellite in orbit that just plays her anthem??. Stalin backed out of Finland because of the satellites...?, Britain and France joined my accords, and December 7th 1941 turned into a peace treaty instead of Pearl Harbor. Stalin personally unveiled a lynx eared Soviet cat flag. We landed on the Moon and left a plaque saying “we came in peace for all felinity.”
By January 1st 1944 every country on Earth had joined. Czechoslovakitty, the United States of Ameowica, the Union of Soviet Socialist Purrpublics, Nyorthern Ireland, Purru, the Kazakitty SSR.
There's a lot more cat names in here, find them all lmao.

Sorry to advertise but I'm actually happy with this preset I made
You can play as a candidate/campaign or just spectate. I find it quite helpful in detaching from our current world events, depending on the difficulty settings.

Map Men of Greece, UNITE!
United pretty much all the Hellenic States during the Wars of the Diadochi. Started as Seleucids with all unification being done diplomatically with the exception of the Antigonids (Every state surrounding them ganged up on them).

A succcesful Christmas Truce mutiny
It is 1916 on the western front, during the Christmas Truce, the officers on both sides couldn’t contain the truce, as it went on past Christmas, with more and more common soldiers joining. After things became heated between officer and soldier, shots were fired, first on the French side, a few officers were killed, and reinforcements were coming. However the reinforcements couldn’t bring themselves to shoot their own, and began to join them slowly, the same soon happened on the German side. The two mutineer armies decided to join together, and turn their trenches and guns away from No Man’s Land. There was still intense fighting, but the Mutineers attracted the likes of certain individuals, great generals and people known for their strategy, sensing the opportunity of something greater with such a large mutiny. It wasn’t a mutiny anymore, it was becoming its own state, a revolution, right in between Germany and France. The new Rhineland state, they began calling themselves, began to push outward. The French side were able to capture parts of France-Comte, and some of the southern mountains on the border with Switzerland, they were able to make a defensive line with. As well as parts of the Ardennes forest. On the German side they were able to push into more of the Rhineland, capturing a few cities and industrial areas until reaching the Rhine River and bordering Cologne. They made the Rhine River their defensive line, it took many weeks, but eventually, the British and Dutch were able to hold a conference in Amsterdam with all sides.
The Amsterdam Conference was heated on all three sides. But eventually they were able to settle on new borders. The Belgian and Luxembourgish territories would be ceded back to Belgium and Luxembourg, while the Rhineish state, would be able to become a recognized independent nation, and Germany and the Entente would sign an armistice. Though angry about the deal the Germans and French had lost a lot of their army and some officers and generals to defections, and weren’t able to push them out of the Rhineland’s now entrenched lines. The Amsterdam Conference would conclude its meetings on the western front, but there were still the matters of the eastern front to deal with. Serbia and Romania had become allies agaisnt the Austrians and Bulgarians, and had pushed into the Balkan territories of the Austrian Empire, facing major unrest, and weariness from the war, the Austrian Empire agreed to cede territories in the Balkans to Serbia, and Hungary would cede Transylvania to Romania. The Austrian Empire would massively decentralize, granting greater autonomy and local governance to its subjects. Though would still struggle with unrest, it has calmed its population for now.
Meanwhile in Russia, the communist reds have risen up, and Russia already surrendered to Germany as Polish, Baltics, and Ukrainians form their own countries and fight the communists. And the Entente sends military missions into north Russia.
The Amsterdam Conference concludes bringing peace to Europe, after the mutinies of the Christmas Truce just as New Years ends. However there are still high tensions across Europe. The Rhineish Military Government’s leadership is split between its great generals and influential people of all sides, French, German, British, some want a democratic republic, some want an authoritarian military dictatorship with themself as the sole leader, while some want a monarchy, led by one of the royal houses of Europe, and each leader will begin to make their plays for power in the coming years. While the French and Germans eye their lost territory and lick their wounds, and the Austrians have to contend with the new Serbian-Romanian Alliance that has formed after the war’s end. Bulgaria has lost its Empire, ceding territory on all sides to Serbia, Romania and Greece, and new talks of a separate alliance between Austria and Bulgaria begin to plot for ways to regain their prestige and territories should the opportunity ever come. While Italy has, in the wake of Austria’s weakness at the end of the war, have bought Istria and the small port of Zara in Dalmatia for a large sum, which Austria can use to rebuild itself in the meantime.
In the German Empire it faces a growing movement of the left, from both republicans, communists, and constitutionalists, calling for an end to autocracy, but not able to fully ally each other.
(Please check out my Preset, where the Christmas Truce turned into a full mutiny, until an entire new state was formed in the Rhine between Germany and France, as well as some other changes in Europe)

Preset Editing I tried modernizing Japan without approving new forts or higher taxes
I'm the creator of 1848–1914: Rewrite the Century. Here's a small Japan playtest from the latest update.
My order was deliberately limited: repair existing coastal defenses using the current budget, materials and personnel. No new forts, higher taxes, or agreements involving shared command or technology transfer.
Over two three-month turns, repairs began and emergency reinforcement progressed. But deeper work still needed materials and skilled workers. The government moved toward requesting help from the domains; their actual response remained unresolved.
Meanwhile, France and South America had their own news. That's the kind of campaign I'm trying to build: peaceful development with practical trade-offs, alongside events beyond your borders.
The preset starts in January 1848. Choose any country and pursue reform, trade, diplomacy, unification or resistance. Historical outcomes aren't compulsory. It's still a work in progress, and AI inconsistencies remain.
Try 1848–1914: Rewrite the Century — ver2,21: https://www.paxhistoria.co/presets/noS7htzSoXmreIQLJTpL?versionID=43
What would you do next: shift resources, negotiate with the domains, or scale back the upgrade?

Rant Am I doing something wrong?
I tried three AI options offered by Pax Historia (Light, Pro, Max).
I paid $20 for 24 tokens, and the total "Gameplay" was about 5 hours max.
I was completely dissatisfied with all three options it's just absurdly bad.
Light honestly, it's a scam. It takes tokens without thinking, it constantly forgets everything, gets confused about events, and confuses timelines. Furthermore, I literally caught it cheating with tokens. It starts giving out previously existing events, pretending they're new, and then writes off tokens for them. Not to mention that in Light, the AI completely ignores countries other than the player. I literally dropped all the nukes on Brazil as the USA in the modern-day scenario, and there was no response from the world, no events at all. . What are the tokens for? This is the level of free AI for kids, it's a joke.
Pro Tries to think and creates events, but isn't fundamentally different from Light, except that countries can finally react to player actions with a slight delay, sometimes with a significant delay. I haven't had anything interesting with it. It's still only responsive to the player, even on the HARD difficulty level. Besides, it sometimes forgets certain events even though I've written them into the action, ignoring the player's actions. FOR WHICH, it also takes tokens. It's also noticeably more expensive, feels like it's three times more expensive, but only slightly more effective than the first.
Max Much better than the previous two, but still not good enough for the price it takes in tokens. Personally, I've had countries react to player actions and started doing something in the world, at least for background purposes, but the problem is the price. It devoured 11 tokens in the last hour and 21 player actions without even noticing. It devoured 11 tokens in 1 hour and 21 player actions wtf??
What's the point of Pro and Light if Max is only trying to deliver on Pax Historia's promises?
I just crunched the numbers. Playing on Max, which turned out to be the most adequate in my case, 20 hours of Pax Historia will cost over $90, which is the price of almost two full-fledged AAA games with 50+ hours of playtime.
Now I'm wondering, am I doing something wrong? Maybe I'm confused. Maybe I need to enable or disable something.

Rant Please add to Google Play
I know it might be difficult to add to Google Play due to some type of tos, but it would be so good. Like I wish I can get more credits but I'm underage and I can't get tokens besides daily ones, but adding it to Google Play will let me spend my credits on Google Play on tokens. I'm just yapping Ся

Germany demanded Lithuania (me) to become a puppet. So my allies and I deleted Germany from the map.
I was playing Lithuania şn WW2 scernio.
Germany demanded me as a vassal after i gave them Mamel, I said NO. They declared war, but Poland backed me up. Later Latvia came to help and we pushed germans from east prussia
and Germany tried to push through Austria and Czechoslovakia. Big mistake.
Our triple alliance ended up completely Balkanizing Germany. Now Lithuania controls Berlin and North Germany,
while the rest of Germany is broken into tiny republics. Never mess with the Baltic Polish brothers
