Help with RF

So I have been following Pohx's RF Chieftain build and have been doing OK up till now. I am really struggling with red tier maps and delve depths around 100 - 110 (lvl 80). I was looking at the crafting guides on pohx.net and they seem a little intimidating as I haven't done much of any crafting and have stopped around this point many times in the past. I am also looking at some of the crafts and don't have enough currency for a lot of them. Is there something glaring in my gear that I should change? Is there something I should focus on improving first?

What are those flasks, and why are none of them the ones in the build guide?

Same with your gear. Your chest can be improved for 1C. You have no life. Get a better chest, or get cloak of flame at this point, which is much better.

Start by actually following the guide. You'll get through red maps easily.

Im on mobile so hard to check alot, but you don't have a ruby flask.. that's a lot of survival ur missing

This might seem a little harsh but this is not an issue of crafting. This is an issue of just not understanding what gear is good and what is not. Most of your gear would be bad in act 5 of the campaign. You have dropped thousands of pieces of gear that is many times stronger than what you are wearing on almost every slot.

Go buy a cloak of flame on trade when you can.

Then honestly just go gamble armour bases on every slot. You should not need to gamble more than 3-5 pieces per slot before you significantly upgrade every piece of gear. Look to Pohx guide for what stats to prioritize.

The end is actually a great idea. Could just spend 100k of gold gambling different pieces on amour bases. Helmet is decent but the gloves.. oof

You really need more life on gear, in particular your rings. You can trade for rings with T1 life and some resistance for a few chaos.

Trading for a half decent 6-link should also just be a few chaos

This. Also, look the guide! If short of currency do charts or voyages, they drop lots of currency and sometimes a divine. Or sell the messages in bottle

Me personally, I don't bother crafting earlier stuff and just buy gear from the market. I usually hit maps on day 2 or 3 of the league, look at the cost of the crafting mats, then search a similar piece of gear on the market, and it would cost the same or more to craft than just buying it.

Maybe the super late game gear is cheaper to craft, but even then, I'd rather farm for currency than deal with the gamba that is crafting.

Congrats on getting this far without seemingly any idea the crafting bench exists. You can craft mods onto items w/ open prefix/suffix slots. Craft life on your boots for a few alch. Your glove are atrocious and surely by level 90 you would have found something better.

You can buy all armour bases on trade with Life + resistances to cap out ele res and chaos res. Really no need to craft things.

need to keep following the guide

eyeballing but from what i can see

• need dot multiplier on stick and neck
• need a ton of more "regeneration rate" pieces with fire res chaos res, armor, and hp. some dex on gloves or neck
• could go for gem level stick or neck too
• need a elder hat. one with conc and burn
• need a new shield. few things here. need the 5 max res somewhere else (tree). cap block. shaper shield with percent life on block -need proper flasks, qual, auto

i didnt look at your passive tree.

this is just a start
