Letās start with the good news! I took my exam yesterday, and it shut down at 85 questions. I was so happy but also a little scared.
This morning at 8 AM, I received an email saying, āCongratulations, you passed!ā along with my license number. I cried, I laughed, and I honestly canāt put the feeling into words.
I finished nursing school in NYC in July 2025, but my husband and I decided to travel around the country to find our forever home before I took the NCLEX.
Once we settled down, I spent three months studying with Archer. I watched all the videos, attended the Zoom classes, and completed all the available questions. Unfortunately, I failed my first attempt.
I requested a refund through Archerās Sure PASS Guarantee, but they denied it, claiming their system showed I hadnāt watched all the videos, even though I had.
After that experience, I switched to Mark Klimekās review videos on YouTube, Bootcamp, and UWorld. I studied for another two months, and yesterday, I finally passed on my second attempt with 85 questions!
In my personal experience, Klimek, Bootcamp, and UWorld prepared me better for the style of questions on the actual NCLEX.
I know everyoneās experience is different, but I wanted to share what worked for me. If you failed your first attempt, donāt give up! Change your strategy if you need to and keep going. Youāve got this! And AVOID ARCHER!
