Talk / Discussion Weird Algorithm

Post image

With all the posts about views being down and weird algorithms I decided to go on to my PC and go through all my settings.

So apparently my biggest audience interest is Cats. I post gaming memes….

I’ve changed it all and hope it gets better but Im confused AF.

Everyone is interested in cats. It's a base human need.

Why would you be confused? Do you think the main interest of your audience group is the type of your content? The biggest interest groups is what most people share. A channels topic is highly niched down compared to the life of a human.

It's also why these posts that complain about where their video get suggested is so weird. They get suggested there because their viewers share a profile (or a majority of it) with the people that watch those videos. It's not rocket science.
