PaRappa the Rapper is back in a new collector's edition. To celebrate the upcoming 30th anniversary of the cult PlayStation classic's release, a limited-edition series of accessories featuring unique artwork has been created.
The rhythm game PaRappa the Rapper, which debuted on the first PlayStation (PS1) and later appeared on PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable (PSP), and PlayStation 4 (PS4), is celebrating its 30th anniversary. The official anniversary date for the gameās release is December 6, 2026. To mark the occasion, Bandai has launched a pre-order for a special collection of accessories and decorative items inspired by the gameās universe.
Pre-orders began on October 9, 2026, on the BanColle! online store. Some of the items feature brand-new anniversary illustrations created by Rodney A. Greenblattāthe artist responsible for the gameās original character designs.
The anniversary collection includes a variety of everyday accessories and collectible items. Among them are B2-sized towels available in four designs, mugs featuring artwork, and rotating acrylic stands with built-in bearings. The collection is rounded out by movable acrylic figurines on semicircular bases depicting 10 characters from the game, as well as hair ties featuring randomly selected character designs.
Pre-orders will be accepted starting October 9, 2026, and the first units are scheduled to begin shipping in November 2026. Unfortunately, this product is available only in the Japanese market.

(desc: i know this is like the coldest take, but some people cannot even handle this take.) I genuinely absolutely DESPISE "*insert PaRappa/UmJammer Lammy character* doesn't have allat!!!!!!š„ŗ" ok? , just let me draw Rammy how I want to, if it's sfw on the subreddit, what is there to whine about??š«© Women irl also have a bigger chest, not just in fiction. NOT to mention, Rammy is an ADULT. I get if it's a joke (i could laugh at it), but if it's like serious, then obviously that'll pmo. (And no, this isn't a ventš«©)
Anyway, thanks for listening to my rant.

For a while I've been thinking of getting an original PS1 disc of Um Jammer Lammy, specially the PAL version since I've already got the PS3 version, which while not the worst for input lag, every few stages the timing will be unplayable and I'll need to restart the software just to continue playing like normal.
So I'm thinking of getting a disc just so I don't have to deal with that, but is the og UJL worse for input lag in the PAL region? I know Parappa on PS1 was a bit jank with its timing sometimes so I want to know before buying

A long time ago i showcased a UJL fangame i made, into this community, now i'm showing the PaRappa version i made, but this time now it is in its "complete state"
It's a 2D version(flash style as known), based on Stage 2, there's also a lot of options to play with, such as custom hats for PaRappa and the teacher, 16:9 and most important, share your score! since this game contains a public leaderboard. And... MEDALS! they can be saved into your account (Newgrounds)
So, give it a try! i would like to see feedback of it, and from this video too!
; Important
(Also sorry for low quality, the game's quality is not like this as shown)
(The teacher's model is different because since i made this fangame, i must gain recognition, so... the teacher's actually one of my friends in this case!)

Some random character from the anime I decided to add. I thought of a theory of this guy that he's Matt Major's father who works as a teacher of railroad economics at the Parappa Town Technical College. For the English dub, I thought it would be fitting if he's voiced by Nathan Lane.
