Not a vid of an encounter, but can you imagine the kind of evidence paranormal investigators could nab with this?

What made you a believer?

• Upvotes

About 5-6 years ago my family had recently moved to an apartment in North Dakota…one day around mid morning my wife and I were in the living room having coffee when we heard this loud noise from my 5 year old daughters room. We assumed something had fallen and I went to check. When I got to her room there was an adult fist sized hole in her wall about head height to me (roughly 5’6 from the ground) I asked my daughter what happened and she just said she didn’t know. I called my wife in to look at it and she saw the hole also. I stuck my fingers in the hole to feel the edges and even picked some drywall off. My wife and I went to living room and she called her grandma to tell her what happened, and when we went back to take a picture of the hole to send, there was no hole.

I know this is sounds weird but my wife and I have never been able to explain this happening, and my daughter was too young to remember it fully or explain what happened when she was in there alone (idk if she even saw it happen). I’ve always been interested in the paranormal but ever since then I think twice about discrediting someone’s experience.

Mr Oliver

Since it is spooky season, I suppose it’s about time I told you about “Mr Oliver”.

In the house of my youth, for a period of about a decade, we experienced a range of events which we came to refer to as ‘The happenings’. They ranged from ghostly clocks and animals to moved or impossibly positioned objects, what you might call poltergeist activity. But today, I want to tell you about the events we attributed to a certain ‘Mr Oliver’.

The first encounter was in the mid nineties. I was about 16. The whole family; my parents, my sister, and I, were in the lounge watching TV. Both cats were with us too, curled up asleep, when suddenly we heard footsteps on our stairs. Slow, deliberate, and very heavy footsteps.

The stairs were right next to the lounge, separated from it by only a thin wall, and the sound was not only clear even over the sound of the TV, but completely unmistakable. The cats woke up in full alert. It chilled us to the bone, as it does to me even now as I write this, in recollection of that moment. My Dad remained obliviously slumped asleep on the sofa like always, but the rest of us stared at each other in wide-eyed horror. There was no one else in the house. At least, there shouldn’t have been.

Being the brave and confrontational boy I was, as well as nearest the door, I leapt from my seat, flung the door open, and stepped aggressively into the dimly moonlit hallway. There was no one there. I ran the few steps to the switch and slapped the lights on as I turned sharply to look up the stairs. Not a soul in sight. The girls stood in the doorway of the lounge, evaluating the situation from my reaction. I just looked back at them stony faced, and shook my head.

It would appear we’d all heard a phantom intruder. Still, I wanted to make sure no one corporeal was really there. I ran up the stairs and with my heart now pounding, checked each room, slamming the doors open with the intent of injuring anyone who might be hiding behind, checked under every bed, behind every curtain, and in every closet. There was no one here. I went back to the landing and looked down at my mum and sister now standing anxiously at the foot of the stairs. “Nothing.” I shrugged. “That’s really weird.”

But my sister was sniffing the air in confusion. “What’s that smell?” She said, at the exact moment I detected it too. “It’s like tobacco.”

“Yes, it’s pipe tobacco” Mum agreed.

Indeed, it did smell exactly like pipe tobacco. Distinctly sweet and earthy, the smell of it grew until it filled the room.

Now, no one in our household smoked, or ever had. Nor did our neighbours. In fact I wasn’t aware of anyone in this stretch of our street who smoked a pipe. We’d never encountered such a scent in the house before, and needless to say, we were quick to attribute it to our mysterious visitor.

Not only did no one in our household smoke, but the previous owners of the house, who had lived there from the mid 50s to 1970 when my parents bought it, didn’t either. But… the one before did: Mr Oliver. We were well aware of him because he had been a local character, a big, former military man, who had owned a war memorabilia shop in the village. He owned the house from new, circa 1936, until the 50s. Such was his military obsession, he’d painted most of the floorboards and stair treads, which were still in situ, olive drab… and he was never seen without a pipe.

Over the next few days, Mum told us everything she knew about him. It seemed he would likely have been in his 80s or 90s at this point, and though we knew nothing of his fate, it seemed quite possible that he had recently died. We were a family of logical minded skeptics however, so we shook off any idea that we were being haunted, or rather, laughed it off enough to put it to the very back of our minds.

But these experiences continued with regularity. Sometimes we’d hear the footsteps on the stairs, sometimes we’d smell the pipe tobacco. Often, they came together. This seemingly happened at any time of the day or night. You’d be about to go upstairs when the smell of pipe tobacco would suddenly hit you, followed immediately by the distinctive sound of each 60 year old stair tread creaking or knocking in turn in its own idiosyncratic way under the weight of someone ascending the stairs. You’d be going to the bathroom in the middle of the night, on the landing when you’d hear those steps, getting closer and closer, doubling your heart rate. And every time you looked, there was nothing to see. For some reason, at night it was more terrifying, and sent all of us at one point or another rushing back to our rooms, locking and perhaps even barricading the door closed.

This went on for a couple of years and I suppose we eventually got used to it. ‘It’s just Mr Oliver’ we told ourselves. It remained creepy, and unnerving, but never threatening. But then it escalated.

Aged around 18, I was in my bedroom one afternoon, and alone in the house, when I heard the footsteps on the stairs. I should make it clear at this point that I’d lived my whole life in this house and had impeccable knowledge of every single sound it made. I could especially identify every floorboard by its sound, and could tell instantly who was coming up the stairs by the weight and cadence of the steps. This was no one living. This was Mr Oliver.

As always, my heart quickened, my skin turned to goosebumps, but my mind sought to soothe me. “It’s just Mr Oliver” I said quietly, but out loud, expecting the footsteps to fade out at the top of the stairs like always. They didn’t.

Two more steps were taken, the last of which pressed heavily on the distinctly creaky floorboard right outside my bedroom door: The same floorboard that creaked every time someone was listening at my door, or about to knock. But this felt different. This person was far heavier, their footsteps slower. Besides, no one was home besides me. And then came the knock.

KNOCK… KNOCK… KNOCK.

Three heavy knocks on my bedroom door. One a second. As slow and deliberate as the footsteps, and unquestionably the sound of heavy human knuckles on thin wood. I stood up and stared uncomfortably on the door. Like always, it was bolted shut, but I was nervous none-the-less. There was a distinct feeling of menace about this now. I swallowed hard. My heart was racing. But somehow, I found the courage to answer the door.

With my foot firmly behind the door as a stop, I unbolted it and opened it just a few inches. There was no one there. I came out and just like the first encounter, checked every room, and even downstairs, but found nothing. This set a new precedent. It didn’t always happen, but often. Only ever on my bedroom door, no other. Whenever I heard the footsteps on the stairs I’d tighten up, waiting for the knock. It happened sometimes in the dead of night, with everyone asleep. It’d wake people up. Everyone heard it. No one could explain it. And of course, it was often accompanied by the smell of pipe smoke.

Our cats reacted to it too. They’d act erratically even before the knock, sometimes even before the footsteps on the stairs. Our female cat, who had not been prone to the zoomies, would suddenly go berserk, racing around the house in a panic as if looking for an exit, just before the smell of pipe smoke presented itself. Our male cat, a very relaxed boy who almost invariably spent the night stretched out on a blanket on my sister’s windowsill, would suddenly stare in fear at her door, his tail fluffed up, often foreshadowing the knock on my door.

This went on for a year or so. Unlike the footsteps and the pipe smell, we never got used to it, at least I didn’t. Conversely, a heavy and oppressive feeling of dread seemed to grow larger with each time it happened. At one point, there was an even a flush of the toilet. I came out of my room, this time sure it must be a family member unexpectedly home during the day, only to find nothing but an empty house, yet the toilet cistern refilling, and the sound of footsteps, this time, uniquely, descending the stairs. As amusing as that seems to some people, whatever this entity was, it was undoubtedly interacting with the physical world, and that was terrifying.

The last time the knocking happened, though three deliberate knocks as always, they had greater urgency to them. Slightly faster than normal, and a lot harder. It felt angry rather than assertive. So much so that I climbed halfway out of my bedroom window in a panic to escape.

After that, it never happened again. That’s when the poltergeist activity started, but that’s a story for another time.

--x--

TL:DR

For a few years in the 90s, an entity which we attributed to the spirit of a former resident of our house, used to walk loudly up our stairs, smoke a pipe, and knock loudly on my bedroom door.

Possible ghost sighting near Tampa Florida.

• Upvotes

This experience happened to me in the late 1980s. I was living on the west coast of Florida north of Tampa. I had just become a dad, was working a lot, and sometimes I had difficulty sleeping at night. To unwind I sometimes would get in our car, a dodge aspen station wagon, and go for a. Evening drive and listen to music or the radio to relax. Usually I did this late at night, I would drive for a couple hours then head home. So one such night I am driving south on I-75. Its around 1:30 AM, warm clear summer night. I was a couple miles north of the I-4 exit. There was no one on the road, very little traffic, and it was well lit with street lights on both sides, but it was rural, there were only a couple of warehouses and office buildings, so largely a deserted area. So out of the corner of my eye I see motion, and i see a guy walking on the opposite side of the road, the northbound lane.on the shoulder. He looked like he was wearing a denim jacket and jeans.Initially he was about 200 feet away so not close. As I got closer, looking across the 4 lanes, I noticed something very strange and actually frightening. Where his head was, all I could see was white, just like a featureless white head shaped blob, no features, no hair or face, just white. The rest of him looked pretty much normal, but there was no face or hair, just white. I drove past him and just figured it was a trick of the light or something. I figured he had just broken down and was walking to the next exit or something. So I thought I would go to the next place where I could turn around and head back north towards home and see if he needed a ride. So I drove about a mile and then turned around. I was looking to see if I could see a broken down vehicle, but didn't see any. I drove north towards where I had spotted this person, but I never saw anyone, he had vanished. There were no cars ahead of me and I kept driving far past where I had seen this person but I never saw anyone. It had been no more than ten minutes between the time I saw him and coming back by the same spot. As a few days passed, I really started to think that looking at this person walking, it really did look like they didn't have a face. So time passed and I didn't really think much about it for years until I read an article about how there was a stretch of I-4 where people have seen a lot of apparitions. And this occurred about a mile north of I-4. The theory is it is people who were killed on that road in accidents. I honestly now do think it was some kind of ghost or something.

I found a note written in blood wedged in a tiny vent by the door. It had both my initials and my ex-wife's.

Demons are real, and they walk right among us.

I divorced my first wife in 2024. During our three-year marriage she'd vanish for weeks at a time, and when she was around it was just nonstop fighting and these wild emotional crashes.

Three months after the split I met my now-wife. Early on, she could never sit in the front passenger seat of my car — heart racing, dizzy, had to move to the back. We didn't think much of it at first.

Then one night she had a dream about a cursed note stuffed in the passenger-side vent. I went out and found it wedged deep in a tiny gap — the small vertical vent by the door — narrow enough that only a woman's fingers could've pulled it out. Folded smaller than a fingernail. Written in what looked like blood, in some Southeast Asian script I couldn't place — something between Thai and Khmer. Both my initials and my ex's were on it. I ran it through a translator. It basically cursed me with a lifetime of sickness, bad luck, and poverty.

I talked to people who know this stuff. They all said it was real, and seriously dark — no one who does this kind of work would touch it.

After that my health went to shit fast. Chest tight, couldn't breathe, blood pressure through the roof. I must've gone to the hospital five times, and no matter what tests they ran, nobody could tell me what was wrong.

A month later I called my ex. Told her about the note, asked her to stop. Said we still had a kid together, she'd already walked away with half of everything, I'd never done anything to her to deserve this. She denied it flat out, told me she'd recorded the call, and if I ever brought it up again she'd sue me for defamation.

Two more weeks and I still wasn't getting better. Then one night my wife just collapsed. When I picked her up, an old man's voice came out of her mouth. I'll leave the rest of that night out — it sounds too made up to be real anyway. Looking back, the curse was always meant to kill me — it was just a matter of time. If someone hadn't put a shield on us, I wouldn't be here typing this.

That's when I started figuring out her pattern. New boyfriend, new country, every few months. And everywhere she landed, she found someone — some dark practitioner, whatever the local version was — and paid them to come after me. My wife and I got hit so many times that year we stopped counting. I got off light, mostly dizziness, back pain, lower back pain, and my heart acting up. But my wife was born sensitive to this kind of thing. She took the worst of it, and it wrecked her.

A few months ago, we had a miscarriage at six months. We were going to name her.

I wanted to fight back so many times that year. People close to me kept talking me off the ledge. Same line every time — she'll get hers. She doesn't deserve me burning my life down over her.

Through channels I've heard things about her that I won't get into — none of it surprised me. Yesterday I heard she got diagnosed with uterine cancer. She's already had a brain tumor for years. I can't help but wonder if that's what happens when you spend years hurting people this way. I doubt I was the only one.

She's spent tens of thousands of dollars hiring people to do black magic on me this past year. What she'd get if I died isn't even that much more. I think she's just stuck on this idea that my death will fix her life.

I'm holding up okay — no disabilities, nothing major. I let the anger go months ago. Whatever happens, happens. I don't think she'll stop until she's dead. We'll see who's still standing at the end.

Photo of the tiny vent is in the comments.

My experience in the Appalachian mountains

To preface this story I’ve never really wrote about any of my encounters so I hope this isn’t too hard to understand and still makes for a good read

This past June me and two of my friends decided that we wanted to take a small senior trip to this cute little air bnb in the northern part of Pennsylvania. I didn’t really get much say in any part of planning and think I was actually invited to lower the price we had to pay for the place but I love a good adventure and who could resist hikes in the Appalachian mountains so I paid my share and we went a few weeks later. It was only a four hour drive from where we lived and the cabin turned out to be this beautiful little place in the middle of a very very very small town. All that was around us was a local bank, grocery store, a general store, diner and of course the residents houses. Most of these building excluding the diner and grocery store were closed on weekends which left us with little to no human interaction aside from the cashier at the store. When I got inside and started unpacking I realized there wasn’t a bed for me and that I had to sleep on the couch but whatever I’m flexible so I was ok with it plus it was right by the front door which was convenient for me because this house had a no smoking indoors policy. So anytime I wanted to smoke I walked to the side of the house across from the general store. Most times I made my friends come with me as it’s generally not advised to stand by yourself at night especially for a girl my age and size. But after days of us adventuring and no one seeming to be on my wavelength the last night I went out alone. I was standing there next to my friends small car smoking and inspecting my paddle board I used the day prior at the lake I shut her trunk and take another hit. Right after I inhale I hear this sound like an injured dog or maybe cat? It wasn’t normal though and it just didn’t sound right if that makes sense. And before anyone ask I know what coyotes and mountain lions sound like and this was not that plus they would’ve been close enough for me to spot them. I froze immediately I love animals and I’m the type of person who would scoop up an abandoned cat to take home I look around and realize I can’t see anything not a cat not a dog not a single soul is around me but this crying yelping sounded like it was right next to me like couldn’t be more than a foot or so away there was nothing under the car as me slamming the trunk would’ve scared it off and my back was to the wall of the cabin I’m facing the general store and still nothing no cat no dog at this point I’m terrified so all I can do is sprint back inside and lock the door. I go and tell everyone what happened but they acted like I was just hearing things I couldn’t sleep at all that night I felt like if something was trying to lure me away that would’ve been how I was already vulnerable being the one on the outside of the group and have a big heart for injured critters. We left the next day I finally got some sleep but if anyone had any similar situations or encounters please share and let me know if I’m crazy or if this sounds paranormal.

Ghost or residual energy

I’ll make it quick. I live alone in a new build (1 yr), but I’ve been with my gf for about 10 years. She sleeps over a couple days per week. I’ve never experienced anything that would make think this home is haunted save for this experience.

About a week ago, I woke in the middle of the night, very alert, very awake, but I didn’t know why. I heard my gf next me (though she wasn’t here) breathing like she normally does when sleeping. I’m an insomniac so I know the sound well. I am a skeptical person, so, though I was frozen in fear, I asked myself, was it my own breathing or outside noises? No. It was exactly the sound of her sleeping next to me.

She’s very much alive. I’ve had no other paranormal experiences. What happened? (And yes, before you ask, I’m totally certain that I was awake and not experiencing sleep paralysis).

Can yall help me figure out what these were?

I have two experiences. First one: I was around 11-12, and I had just recently, maybe about a year or two ago from that age, moved into the house that I still currently live in with my family. I was in my room and I am pretty sure it was late, like everyone was already asleep so probably around midnight to maybe 3 AM. I woke up from my sleep, turned around in my bed from where I was facing my wall/ window bc my bed is pushed against my wall where my big window is. I turned around, and in the far corner of my room above my door there was a creature hanging off of it. It was pretty big, hanging with its torso like sticking out bc it was facing me with its hands and feet hanging onto the wall. It was pretty thin, and a kind of solid but pure black color with even darker eyes, that's what it looked like. It seemed like it was supposed to be terrifying, but it seemed to... Radiate sadness. Just waves of sorrow and sadness and every sad emotion you can think of just surrounding it. I saw it and we held eye contact for maybe 30 seconds to a minute but to be fair I can't remember exactly how much time I looked at it, this is an estimate. I like whispered goodnight to it and rolled back over to the wall and fell back asleep. Before anyone says this was a dream, 1. I almost never dream. Like ever. 2. I am ALWAYS, ALWAYS. able to tell when something was a dream. I have never genuinely doubted if something was a dream unless it was a memory or something from when I was like 3. This was technically not that long ago, and by then I was fully confident in being able to differentiate my dreams from reality.

Experience 2: I have in my life moved houses 3 times, one time being from when I was 1 years old. For as long as I can remember, every night when I went to bed and turned off all of the lights and turned on my night light and stuff and my door shut, this little shadowy figure, maybe 4 feet tall, ran across my wall and disappeared. It was always on the wall directly across from the wall that by bed was on, so either near my feet or the side of my bed, in every house that I have been in. It was around 4 feet tall, and shaped like an elf, with the stupid little elf hat and pointy shoes and stuff. It wasn't a bug on my window or nightlight casting a glow bc it's feet actually moved as it ran across the wall. It was never scary, just kind of there every night before I slept. This was also not a dream, because 1. All of the stuff I said up in the previous story, and 2. This happened each night before I slept, never when I woke up in the night or smth, always before. It went away when I was around 11- 12, I think when I was 12 so I have never seen it since I became a teenager.

What do y'all think these things could have been? Not something stupid like moth man or smth, I want actual explanations of what these could have been. Thank yall! :)

Beyond the Constraint..

To start, I have been so impacted by this experience that I am working on an entire scientific hypothesis to study energy, human consciousness, the possibility of "afterlife", and other very deep, possibly potential ground breaking explanations...

To begin, I have looked into different scientific possibilities that could help my mind just try to rap around this or just try to make sense of what the hell happened to me last night...or maybe I'm looking to avoid admitting and accepting that this has completely altered my human existence... Some things could, sure, be explained by science to an extent, but in the same breath, there are certain scientific distinctions in which some of this experience isn't entirely explained easily.

Anyways, I think one important thing is to distinguish established physics from hypotheses, potential health concerns, how the brain can create its own narrative, and from the personal takeaways of my potentially altered human existence..

Regardless of the forces may be at play and the effecting factors this could be explained by or broken down to.. paranormal, psychological, medical, scientific, WHATEVER may be the truth to this all, it has changed me.. so please read this with an open mind. I am looking deeply into this experience.. there are several angles and potential factors.. only I know my truth at the end of the day, and there's no need for me to create this narrative for reactions or some type of gain.

I just feel the need to share this..it's weighing on me in ways I can't even begin to put into words. I will try to answer any questions.. I don't see a point in exerting energy into an entire hypothesis if I had any doubts on how this truly may dive deeper than we can even conceptualize..

This was very crazy and hard to try to break down into just human language..there were so many sensations and feelings that there are no true comparisons to, so I tried my best to try to relate it to things that MAYBE were close to the sensations.. but even then, they are of no true comparison.

Here is my best shot at a description of last night... there are some details that I can share later on that I didn't include, just small things I didn't note because at the time it was sorta a small detail.. i was mainly focusing on capturing the strange sensations, bodily responses, changes in environment, etc...there are certain things not in these following paragraphs like hearing a few single knocks through the house, the way my uncles life ended or any real intimate details having to do with his death, faint 5 second smell of death before this all progressed and the light in my room acting up,etc.. like I said, if you have any questions or things I can fill you in on I will answer if it's in my power.

Here are the notes as follows....

Note 1: Can you help me make sense of this paranormal experience and maybe provide possible scientific evidence for any of the sensations, energy shifts, charged atmosphere, etc? I know I sound like I'm insane when I say the only thing I can describe what happened to me was a paranormal experience or something of the sort...I know I have mental health stuff going on and I have been under a lot of stress and trying to grieve. But I swear on everything I have ever loved, the love I carry for my mother and my uncle, and give you my word when I say that I just went through something I have never experienced nor felt anything even remotely similar to this. It was almost unnatural, but in a sense was what I can only describe as the purest form of energy that can only be naturally made..but only unnatural because it was indescribable and there is no real scientific reason as to why the atmosphere and literal space around me shifted and seemed affected. I am being genuinely so serious, I am begging you to please take me seriously.. I wouldn't make this up, I'm not on anything, and this was nothing my mental conditions provoked. I have been struggling but this is not that at all. I can't even put into words what the fuck happened to me and I am dumbfounded and literally left speechless. I had no choice but to acknowledge it, it was literally in every molecule of the space surrounding me in my bedroom.. there was a sensation in my spine that could only be compared to saline charged with a tingling electric feeling that creeped up and down my vertebrae... I was genuinely stuck, almost paralyzed and taken over by this energy in the air, i can only compare it to a charged up static buzz that filled the atmosphere..i was stuck and could not bring myself to move away or disengage.. I am extremely drained physically and mentally but spiritually I feel like "charged up??" like aware of the existence of this supernatural being or whatever the hell it was..and more open, like my soul or being knows WITHOUT DOUBT that there is more beyond just us and there are different frequencies or dimensions that exist in a spacial timeline existing within or around our perceived dimension..This somehow removed any doubts I had of other beings or spirits or things of that nature... I believe I was a conduit and this being or whatever this was projected itself off of my energy or my being... I know I sound absolutely batshit but I have no doubt that this was something beyond anything we are .. I can't even start to grasp or make a logical excuse or put it off as anything other than paranormal or even spiritual... I will go and let you get some sleep, I can talk to you more about it tomorrow or something, I need to try to lay down too but I'm literally still shaken after it..I'm gonna try to get comfortable and l stop trying to conjure up some explanation for any of this..

Note 2: Here are details about my unusual experience:

  1. Before it began: Fully awake, doing something ordinary

  2. Movement: Could move but felt frozen or unable to make myself move

  3. Room and sensations: Both my body and surrounding space seemed affected

  4. Duration: Longer than an hour

Later I look into explanations without dismissing the experience and considering angles..

Note 3: I mean I could sense the change, it could only be compared to being like a foggy type of haze but very thin and seemed to be in every atom of the atmosphere around me. The temperature in my room seemed to slightly change as the air seemed to progressively charge until it rested. There were no sounds while this was happening, but I heard 3 distinct knocks at different stages of this experience, each knocking through different areas of the empty house being spaced several minutes apart..I pretty much feel back to normal physically, still a bit tired. I still feel without a doubt that this essentially opened a window within my being that I cannot shake, nor can I revert back to living a life where I had doubts regarding potential afterlife, spiritual plane, or other dimensions...I feel this has lifted a veil or the information merged with my being..it feels like some sort of uploaded data to my brain and leaves me having no doubt or feeling the need to question the existence. It's like I was made aware of the reality and received unexplained or unknown knowledge that one day will possibly have meaning and proof.

Note 4: It completely and instantaneously wiped my brain of any preconceived beliefs about left me no longer having to question or obsess over what potentially happens once we've left this earth. I somehow knew some limited insight on the truth behind these things without any form of being taught this.

Note 5: Attempting to convey what feels like "instant uploaded" insight I gained which was paired with a few basics I already was aware of through education??? If that makes any sense at all.. things start to get a little weird here and are harder to convey. Quick notes, beginning stages of what led me to begin working on creating hypotheses..

Feeling of knowledge of something broader. This isn't all of what I have learned but here are a few basic concepts I will try my best to condense and share... energy doesn't die, but yet has the ability to transform.. when someone passes away and that energy that was contained in the body, created in almost an infinite amount in a sense, numbers being broken down to each singular body, energy created by the lived experiences during the process of existence in the human body, energy excerted, etc. There are also electric signals in the human body, depending on how someone's signals fire correctly or incorrectly and endless factors affecting signals and neurons , and the way that someone's last moments and cause of death can create a release of a multitude of different amounts of energy. That energy can be almost fluid in a sense. It's allowed to move freely, without many real barriers, and it is able to build more and more energy over time. This kind of sums up some of the more basics and what begins to lay the groundwork of this knowledge. I can't entirely explain this all because I am having a hard time trying to convey it sort of. I attempted to word things the best I could. I was shortly exposed to this intuition and I am trying to work off of what was retained in that moment. Although my mind was open to this knowledge, unfortunately I still work within human constraints and limitations on how the human body works....i retained what I could while it was visible/ingrained. I can try to take time to do forms of deep thinking, mediation, and try to recollect other stages and other ways of how energy is transformed along the spacial timeline.. I don't know... I feel crazy and once again, don't entirely feel satisfied with the wording and feel like I didn't accurately convey/articulate the breakdown of this info... This has been a very intense, life altering, and potentially could be used to create a bigger picture scientifically...eventually once I am able to more accurately try to articulate what was taught to me and work on better trying to articulate

this mind bending experience..

I understand these concepts may be a little hard to follow, especially since Note 6 jumps around and are a bit disorganized..this was an extremely complex experience to hurry up and scramble to create some record of. Everything was written maybe an hour or so after the event occurred.. I tried my best to acknowledge what happened and took time to try to calm down and make what little sense I could. It was super overwhelming and I still haven't processed it..I woke up today with a sort of aftermath..things are definitely confusing and I feel like I've perceived a lot around me differently..

If you read all of this, I'm shocked you did...and thank you for taking time out of your day to attempt following along..You don't have to think too much into it, you truly may take it with a grain of salt if that's where you stand, and remember at the end of the day the human experience is extremely subjective..

I slept on the floor to trip the ghost that kept walking past my bed. Instead, a wolf walked in and nibbled my hand.

I had an encounter where this little girl walked into my room while I was falling asleep. My body froze, and my head was locked to the side. I saw her walk into my room. She looked like a 7 to 9-year-old. Her hair was in two ponytails that looked hard, like wire rags. I could barely make out her face. But I could see her smiling as she walked past me, and then away from me. I couldn't see her anymore. My body was frozen.

I got up the next morning and thought to myself, "Tomorrow night, I'm going to trip her."

The next night, I laid on the floor getting ready to go to sleep. I felt my body freeze. In that moment, from my left, I could see what looked like a wolf walking towards me. I could not move, but I could see him.

He smelled me. He nibbled on my hand. I could feel it. He walked past me again. And as I last saw him, my body unfroze.

Has anyone had or read an experience where someone has seen themselves from the past or future?

I have a family member who has had numerous paranormal experiences in their life. One of the more interesting ones was a story about seeing themselves (and interestingly, me standing beside them) as small child in their room one night. Just standing there, beside their bed, staring at them.

Has anyone experienced or heard of something similar?

I saw a woman on our rooftop at 1 AM,I wish that had been the end of it.

I’m 20+ and posting this as an adult. A previous post was removed due to age confusion and formatting issues, and once it was mistakenly reported as AI-written. I respect this community and its guidelines and am sharing this experience in good faith.

This is not a fictional horror story. This is something that happened to me during my early university years. I’m not asking anyone to believe it. I’m not trying to convince anyone. I just want to share what we experienced.

Back then, I was in my second year of university.

Me and two of my friends rented a rooftop apartment on the third floor of a small building. A new family had recently moved into the second floor after the previous owners sold the place.

For the first three or four months, everything was normal.

Just the usual student life. Classes, gym, late nights, assignments, projects. Sometimes we’d stay up late talking or watching movies. Nothing out of the ordinary.

But there’s something about the layout of that apartment that you need to understand.

When you opened our main door, you were directly facing the final staircase leading up to the rooftop. Anyone coming up those stairs had to pass right in front of our doorway.

We had a lower terrace where we dried our clothes.
Above that was another, smaller rooftop level with water tanks. To get there, you had to climb a metal ladder.

It was a normal apartment.
We never had any reason to feel uncomfortable there.

At least, not until that night.
One night, around 12 or 1 AM, I couldn’t sleep. I’d been postponing washing my clothes for days, so I finally decided to get it done.

I left my clothes soaking in detergent water in the bathroom and sat in the dining area while I waited.
Our main door was open.

I was just sitting there, doing nothing in particular, when I noticed someone walking up the staircase.
I looked up.

It was a woman.

I could see her figure moving past the final few steps, heading toward the rooftop.

Now, I want to make something clear. It wasn’t some random shadow that I saw out of the corner of my eye.

I wasn’t half asleep, either.
I actually saw someone walking up.
For a moment, I just watched her.

And then I realized something.
I hadn’t heard anyone coming up the stairs.
No footsteps.

No sound of the downstairs door opening.
Nothing.

I don’t know why, but I suddenly felt frozen in place. It was one of those moments when your brain registers that something is wrong before you can even explain what it is.

I waited a few seconds.
Then I got up and walked outside.
The terrace was empty.

I looked around, thinking maybe she’d gone to the other side.

Nothing.
I checked the lower rooftop.
Nothing there either.

Then I climbed the metal ladder to the upper level near the water tanks.

Still nothing.

I remember standing there, looking around in the darkness, trying to understand where someone could possibly have gone in the few seconds it had taken me to step outside.

There was nowhere obvious to hide.
Nobody walking away.
No sound.

Just the silence of the rooftop at night.
Eventually, I went back inside and finished hanging my clothes.
I didn’t tell my roommates about it.

Honestly, I didn’t think too much about it afterward. I figured there had to be some explanation, even if I couldn’t find one at the time.
But from that night onward, I stopped leaving the main door open after midnight.
For a few days, nothing else happened.

And slowly, I almost forgot about it.
What I didn’t know was that I wasn’t the only one experiencing strange things in that apartment.
There were three of us staying there. It was a two-bedroom apartment, and my two friends shared one room while I had a room of my own.

My room was the closest to the rooftop.
One of my roommates had apparently been hearing someone knocking on his bedroom door at night.

Not once or twice. It happened on different occasions.
But he wasn’t the kind of guy who believed in these things. He would hear the knocking, ignore it, and carry on with whatever he was doing.

He never made a big deal out of it.
And neither did I.

We hadn’t even properly discussed our experiences with one another.
Then came the night that changed how we looked at the apartment.

I had been hanging out with my girlfriend earlier that day. Some of our friends had also come over, and they were spending time with my roommates in their room.

After spending time with my girlfriend, I dropped her home and returned to the apartment.
I went straight into my friends’ room and sat with them. Everyone was there, hanging out and talking.

It was around 9 or 10 PM.
Everything was normal. We were just talking about random things, laughing, and spending time together.

Then, out of nowhere, one of my roommates turned toward me.
“Bro, aren’t you going to drop her home?”
I looked at him, confused.
“What?”
“Your girlfriend, bro. Aren’t you going to drop her home? It’s already late.”

I laughed a little and told him, “Bro, she went home around 6 PM. I already dropped her.”
The moment I said that, his face changed.

I’m not exaggerating when I say this. He literally jumped off the bed.
One second, we were all sitting there talking.

The next, he was on his feet, looking genuinely frightened.
We stared at him.

“Bro, what happened?”
He looked toward the doorway and then back at us.
“Bro… I just saw someone.”
We asked him what he meant

.
He started explaining what he’d seen from inside our room.
From where he was sitting, he had a clear view of the dining hall.

And in the dining hall, he said, there was a girl sitting near the dining table.
Her hair was completely down.

She was just sitting there, looking in some direction.
He couldn’t see her face properly.

At first, he thought it was my girlfriend. That’s why he’d asked whether I was going to drop her home.

He genuinely believed she was sitting there.

But when I told him she had already left hours ago, he realized that the person he’d seen couldn’t have been her.

And that’s when he got scared.
Really scared.

Now, the thing about this particular friend was that he was probably the last person you’d expect to react that way.

He was adventurous. He was the kind of guy who would go exploring places other people were afraid to enter. We’d even sneaked into cemeteries together.

He wasn’t easily frigh0tened.
But that night, something had clearly shaken him.
We kept asking him what he’d seen, and he insisted that there had been a girl sitting in the dining hall.

A girl with her hair down.
We stayed with him for a while, tried to calm him down, and eventually changed the topic.
But I remember thinking about what he’d just described.

Because I had seen a woman walking up to our rooftop only days earlier.
And now he was telling us about a girl sitting inside our apartment.

I didn’t say anything about my own experience.
I still wanted to believe there was some ordinary explanation for all of it.
We carried on with our lives, but things didn’t feel quite the same anymore.

And then our university vacation started.
Everyone began packing to return to their hometowns. My roommates decided to leave first.
My girlfriend and I had a different plan.

Since we had almost a month of vacation, we wanted to spend around ten days together at the apartment before returning to our respective hometowns. She lived in a different state, and so did I.

So, after my roommates left, she came over.
For the first few days, everything was fine.

We cooked together, watched movies, and enjoyed having the apartment to ourselves.
I never told her what my roommate had seen.

I didn’t want to scare her over something I couldn’t explain myself.
And, honestly, I was trying not to think about it either.

Then one night, we were sitting on my bed watching a movie.
My bedroom door was open.

From my bed, I had a direct view of the dining hall.
It was around midnight or 1 AM, and I think the dining hall light was switched off. The only light reaching that area came from our bedroom.

So the dining hall was dimly lit, with the dining table and chairs visible in the darkness.
We were watching the movie normally.

Nothing unusual was happening.
Then, suddenly, my girlfriend jumped into my arms.
It happened so abruptly that I got startled myself.
She grabbed me tightly.

I turned toward her, expecting her to tell me she’d seen something on the screen or had been frightened by the movie.

But when I looked at her face, I realized this was different.
She looked genuinely terrified.

Her eyes were fixed on something beyond me, and she started crying a little.
“Hey, hey. What happened?”
I kept asking her what was wrong.

She couldn’t seem to explain it.
She just held on to me and pointed toward the dining hall.
I looked in that direction.

The dining table.
The chairs.
The dimly lit room.
I couldn’t see anyone.

Nothing was moving.
Nothing looked unusual.
But she kept pointing toward that area.

Then she begged me to close the bedroom door.
I didn’t understand what she’d seen, but I closed it.
I sat with her and tried to calm her down.

After a while, she finally managed to tell me what had happened.
She said she’d seen a girl sitting in the dining hall.

A girl with her hair completely down.
I went quiet.
I remember just looking at her, trying to process what she’d said.

Because the first thing that came to my mind was my roommate.
The same dining hall.
The same description.

A girl sitting near the table, with her hair down.
And now my girlfriend was describing something almost identical.
I hadn’t told her anything about my roommate’s experience.

She had no reason to know what he’d seen.
I won’t lie. My heart was pounding by then.
I had spent days telling myself that whatever I’d seen on the staircase was probably nothing. I’d tried to convince myself that my roommate had simply mistaken something in the darkness.
But now my girlfriend was sitting in my arms, frightened by something she’d seen in the exact same place.

And I had no explanation to give her.
I didn’t want to scare her even more, so I tried to act calm.
I locked the bedroom door and stayed with her.

Eventually, I went out and switched on the dining hall light.
I checked the area.
There was nobody there.
Again.

After that night, things became difficult to ignore.
We continued staying in the apartment for the remaining days, but my girlfriend seemed to notice things more often than I did.

Sometimes she’d tell me she’d heard a sound.
Sometimes she’d feel that something wasn’t right.

I tried to reassure her whenever it happened. I didn’t want her to spend the entire vacation terrified.
But somewhere inside me, I was beginning to feel the same way.

I couldn’t shake the thought that something strange was happening in that apartment.
And I still didn’t know what it was.

Eventually, our ten days together came to an end.
My girlfriend packed her things and left for her hometown in the afternoon.
My bus wasn’t until later that night, so I decided to stay behind and wait.

For the first time in days, I was completely alone in the apartment again.
I had several hours before I needed to leave.

I was just waiting when my room owner suddenly came over.
She sat down, and we started talking normally.

At first, it was just an ordinary conversation.
Then, at some point, she pointed toward a small hut directly opposite our apartment.

I’d seen that hut countless times before. It was right across from our room, so I’d never really paid much attention to it.

But then she asked me something I wasn’t expecting.
“Do you know the story of that house?”
I looked at her.
“No. Whose house is that?”
She started telling me about the people who had supposedly lived there.

According to her, a husband and wife used to live in that house.
The wife was apparently having an affair with another man. Whenever her husband went out, she would bring the other man home.

Then, one day, something terrible happened.
When the husband returned home, he discovered that his wife had been killed.
That was the story she told me.

I can’t confirm whether it was true or whether all the details were accurate. I’m only telling you what my room owner said.
But the moment she finished telling me, I started thinking about everything that had happened in our apartment.

The woman I’d seen walking up the stairs.
My roommate jumping off the bed after seeing a girl in the dining hall.
My girlfriend grabbing me in terror after seeing what she described as the same thing.

And now, this story about a woman who had supposedly been murdered in a house directly opposite our apartment.

I sat there listening to my room owner, but my mind was somewhere else.
I hadn’t told her anything about our experiences.

She didn’t know what my roommate had described.
She didn’t know what my girlfriend had seen.

Yet here she was, telling me about a woman who had supposedly died in that very neighbourhood.
I started replaying those nights in my head.

The silence on the rooftop.
The empty terrace.
The dining hall.

That chair near the table.
And the girl with her hair down.

I tried to tell myself that these things didn’t necessarily have anything to do with one another.
Maybe they were coincidences.

Maybe there were explanations we hadn’t found.
But sitting there, alone in that apartment, I couldn’t stop thinking about it.

And the worst part was that I still had hours to wait before my bus arrived.
I was alone.

My roommates were gone.
My girlfriend was gone.

And now, for the first time, I was looking at that apartment differently.
I don’t know if the story about the hut was true.
I don’t know what my roommate saw.
I don’t know what my girlfriend saw.

And I still can’t explain what I saw that first night.
But after hearing that story, I couldn’t help wondering whether we’d been living there without knowing something important about the place.
Something that had happened long before we moved in.
Something none of us had thought to ask about.
And I was sitting there, waiting for my bus, with the entire apartment to myself.
That’s when I started thinking about all the things we’d experienced there. And I hadn’t even told you what happened next.

My husband and I bought our first house near Dallas, Georgia. We tried some of your suggestions. (Also I don’t use AI)(Part 2)

I wasn’t expecting my first post to get anywhere near that much attention.
I’ve spent an embarrassing amount of time reading through the comments. Andre caught me doing it at almost two in the morning and told me that if I was going to lose sleep over strangers on Reddit, I could at least stop waking him up to read their theories.
Some of you were genuinely helpful, though. I appreciate that.
A few people suggested carbon monoxide. Several thought I might be sleepwalking. Others said the cameras could’ve been hacked, which honestly hadn’t occurred to me until somebody mentioned it.
And one person said they had a feeling the house belonged to a married couple who died here, and that the woman didn’t want us sleeping in her bedroom.
I showed Andre that comment.
He said, “Well, she can start paying half the mortgage.”
I laughed. He didn’t.
That’s sort of how things have been between us lately. We still joke around, but afterward there’s this uncomfortable silence where neither of us knows what to say.
Anyway, we actually tried some of your suggestions.
We checked the carbon monoxide detectors, replaced the batteries, and bought another one. Nothing unusual has registered. Andre also scheduled someone to inspect the furnace because I didn’t feel comfortable leaving it at that.
He reset all four security cameras, updated the software, changed the account password, and turned on two-factor authentication.
We even tried recreating the footage from my last post.
You remember the screenshot Andre sent me? The one showing me standing outside the spare bedroom at 3:14 a.m., holding the doorknob of a door that wasn’t there?
We couldn’t recreate it.
I stood in the exact same spot. Andre walked down the hallway with his phone recording while I reached toward the empty doorway.
We looked ridiculous.
On both cameras, I was just a woman standing in front of a room with her arm stretched out.
No door. No doorknob. Nothing.
Andre actually smiled for the first time in days.
“See? It’s a glitch.”
I wanted to believe him. I really did.
But when I looked at the original recording again, the door was still there. I could see the white paint I’d accidentally gotten on its bottom corner. I could see the shadow underneath it.
And I could see my hand gripping the knob so tightly that my knuckles looked pale.
The thing that bothered me most wasn’t even the door anymore.
It was the way I was standing.
My shoulders were raised, almost up to my ears. My feet were planted apart.
I looked like somebody trying to keep something from pushing through.
Andre didn’t want to discuss that part.

The other suggestion that kept coming up was sleepwalking.
I’ve never done it before, as far as I know. But after seeing myself in that hallway, I wasn’t about to rule it out.
So last night I set my iPhone on the dresser and recorded us sleeping.
I know that sounds strange. Andre certainly thought so.
He was already in bed while I balanced the phone against a bottle of lotion, trying to get the angle right. The charger cord barely reached, so I had to drag the dresser a couple of inches away from the wall.
Andre asked, “Are you planning to film us every night now?”
“Until we figure out what’s going on.”
“That’s not an answer.”
“Then yes.”
He rolled over and pulled the blanket up.
I remember feeling irritated with him. Not because he was wrong, exactly. I just felt like he was getting tired of me being scared.
And I was getting tired of being scared, too.
We turned the lights off around eleven.
I lay awake listening to the ceiling fan. One of the blades wobbles a little, and every few seconds it makes a faint clicking sound.
Normally I don’t notice it.
That night I couldn’t stop listening.
Click.
Click.
Click.
At some point, I fell asleep.
I woke up at 4:26 a.m.
Andre was sitting on the edge of the mattress with his phone in his hand. The screen was lighting up his face.
I asked what was wrong.
He didn’t answer right away.
Then he asked, “Were you talking to me?”
I said no.
He asked if I was sure.
I sat up and looked at him.
“Andre, I’ve been asleep.”
He rubbed his face.
He told me he’d heard my voice coming from the hallway.
Not somebody calling my name.
My voice.
He said it sounded like I was standing outside the spare bedroom, speaking very quietly to somebody. He couldn’t make out the words.
I told him I was right there beside him.
He said, “I know.”
I asked what he meant.
He said he’d opened his eyes when he heard the voice, and I was asleep next to him.
I don’t think either of us knew what to do with that.
We stayed awake until sunrise.

This morning, I checked my iPhone recording.
At 3:14 a.m., Andre and I were both in bed.
I could see myself lying on my left side with the blanket pulled up near my mouth. Andre was on his back, one arm across his stomach.
Neither of us got up.
I watched the entire stretch of footage before and after 3:14. There wasn’t a cut or a moment where the camera stopped recording.
Then I opened the hallway camera.
At 3:14 a.m., someone was standing outside the spare bedroom.
Wearing my pajamas.
They’re gray pajama pants with little white flowers on them. There’s a bleach stain near the right pocket from when I was cleaning our old apartment.
The person in the hallway had the same stain.
I put both recordings side by side.
On my iPhone, I was asleep in bed.
On the hallway camera, I was standing in front of the spare bedroom.
Andre came into the kitchen while I was watching them.
He’d made coffee, but he was still wearing yesterday’s T-shirt and hadn’t shaved. He looked exhausted.
I showed him.
He watched both recordings twice.
Then he said, “Maybe the times aren’t synced.”
We checked. They were.
He suggested someone might’ve edited the camera footage somehow.
I asked who would do that.
He didn’t have an answer.
Neither did I.

A few of you suggested contacting the previous owners.
I emailed our real estate agent and asked if she’d pass along a message.
I didn’t tell her about the voices or the cameras. I just said we had some questions about the house, particularly why the bedroom doors had been removed.
She replied that she’d contact the sellers.
Then I asked if she remembered seeing any paint supplies during our walkthrough.
She said she didn’t.
I keep thinking about that.
All three bedroom doors were off their hinges when we first saw the house.
The seller’s explanation was that they were painting.
But the walls weren’t freshly painted. There weren’t drop cloths or rollers anywhere.
Maybe they’d already finished.
Maybe I’m reading too much into it.
I don’t know anymore.
One commenter suggested that we should just put the doors back on.
I told Andre.
He looked at me for a long time before saying, “I don’t think we should.”
I asked why.
He said he didn’t know.
That bothered me more than if he’d argued.

Around three this afternoon, I tried another experiment.
I wanted to see if I could make the hallway camera record that impossible door again.
I took a roll of blue painter’s tape and marked the spot where the doorknob had appeared in the original footage.
Then I set my iPhone on a tripod in the hallway so it could record me and the security-camera feed at the same time.
The actual spare bedroom door was still leaning against the wall inside the room.
I checked before I started.
I even took a picture.
I stood in the doorway and reached my hand toward the empty space where the doorknob should’ve been.
Nothing happened.
I tried again.
Still nothing.
By the fourth attempt, I was starting to feel embarrassed.
I remember saying out loud, “Okay, this is stupid.”
Then I heard somebody clear their throat.
It came from behind me.
Not a loud cough. Just that little dry sound somebody makes when they’re about to say something.
I turned around.
The room was empty.
The paint tray was still on the floor. There was a cardboard box of winter clothes by the closet. A strip of painter’s tape was stuck to the baseboard.
I stood there listening.
Nothing.
I was about to turn around when I heard it again.
This time it came from the hallway.
It sounded closer.
I stepped out of the bedroom.
There was nobody there.
The house was so quiet I could hear the refrigerator humming from the kitchen.
I checked the thermostat. The air conditioner wasn’t running.
I told myself it was probably the vents anyway.
I was actually saying that out loud when my phone buzzed.
Motion detected.
Hallway.
I opened the notification.
It was a recording of me standing in the doorway a minute earlier.
I watched myself reach toward the empty space where the doorknob should’ve been.
Then I heard the cough.
It was quieter on the recording than it had sounded in person.
I turned the volume up.
There was another sound underneath it.
A woman’s voice.
I put in my earbuds.
I listened three times before I understood what she was saying.
“Don’t open it.”
I called Andre.
He told me to get out of the house.
I didn’t argue.

I waited in the car until he got home.
When he pulled into the driveway, he didn’t even turn his engine off right away. He just sat there looking at the house.
I got out and walked over to him.
He asked if I’d been inside since we spoke.
I said no.
He told me to stay behind him.
Normally I would’ve made fun of him for that.
I didn’t.
We went inside together.
Everything looked normal.
The television remote was on the couch. His shoes were by the front door. I’d left a glass of water on the kitchen counter.
It was almost insulting how ordinary everything looked.
We went down the hallway.
I showed him the tape marks and explained exactly where I’d been standing.
He leaned into the spare bedroom.
Then he asked, “Where’s the door?”
I thought he meant the door in the footage.
I said, “That’s what I’ve been trying to tell you.”
He shook his head.
“No. The actual door.”
I looked past him.
The door wasn’t leaning against the wall anymore.
I walked into the room.
The paint tray was there. The cardboard box was there. Everything was exactly where I’d left it.
Except the door.
We searched the whole house.
The garage. The closets. Behind the couch. Even the backyard, which made absolutely no sense.
It’s a full-size wooden bedroom door. Somebody can’t just slip it into their pocket.
Andre checked the locks.
Nothing was damaged.
Then he started looking through the security footage.
I was standing in the kitchen when I heard him say my name.
Something about the way he said it made my stomach drop.
I walked over.
He had the camera from inside the spare bedroom pulled up.
The recording was from 3:14 a.m. the previous night.
The door was leaning against the wall.
Exactly where it was supposed to be.
At first, I didn’t understand what he wanted me to see.
Then he zoomed in.
There was somebody sitting on the floor behind it.
I could see two bare feet sticking out from the bottom edge.
The person’s knees were pulled up against their chest.
I couldn’t see their face.
Their body was mostly hidden behind the door.
Andre said, “Was somebody in our house?”
I couldn’t answer.
We watched.
For a long time, nothing happened.
Then a hand appeared around the edge of the door.
It was a woman’s hand.
The fingers were spread wide against the wood.
I could see the knuckles. I could see the nails.
She pulled her hand back.
A few seconds later, we heard knocking.
Three soft taps.
Then another.
Then several more.
Eleven altogether.
Andre turned the volume up.
There was a pause after the last knock.
I could hear somebody breathing.
It was shallow and uneven, like they’d been crying.
Then a woman spoke.
“Maya, please.”
Andre looked at me.
I couldn’t stop staring at the screen.
He played it again.
The woman said something else, so quietly I almost missed it.
Andre turned the volume up one more time.
And this time I heard every word.
“He’s going to make you forget me again.”

I haven’t shown Andre this last part.
After he went to bed, I went back through the video from my iPhone.
The one that shows both of us asleep at 3:14.
I wanted to make absolutely sure I hadn’t missed anything.
At 3:13:58, I’m lying on my side, facing Andre.
At 3:14:02, the bedroom door moves slightly.
Not enough to open.
Just enough that I can see the dark space underneath it change.
At 3:14:06, Andre turns his head toward the doorway.
His eyes are open.
I thought he was asleep the whole time.
Then he lifts one finger to his lips.
Like he’s telling somebody to be quiet.
And he smiles.
Not at me.
At whoever is standing on the other side of our bedroom door.

Weird encounter in Uvalde Texas

I don’t know if this is the right subreddit to post this but I suck at typing so please mind the typos..

I wants to share this encounter because I saw a tik tok that encountered something similar in Uvalde and it reminded me of my encounter and I wanted to share. I was born and raised in Uvalde I always believed in folklore but like I never thought I’ll see anything it was thanksgiving night in 2024 my parents and my tios and tias went to some thanksgiving bash because some grupo was coming into town and my cousins stayed with me to help me babysit my 4 month year old sister and my cousins kept on begging and begging to me to get snacks at the gas station but it was already night and I didn’t have a car all I had was a cheap bike from Walmart so i ask my mother If I could go but she said no but I know this sounds cliche but I still went and lowkey was scared to go alone so I ft my at the time girlfriend because I didn’t want to feel alone and I live on the west side of town so sometimes some crazy stuff happens like robbery drug raids drug dealing and crackheads so I was just already on the edge before I even left so when I left I was like on edge and I went towards the gas station and on the west side right next to the Mexican park is a Gas station and on the way to the gas station from my street you either can cut through an alley or take the long way and go down like 2 blocks and take a straight shot to the store but I was on the bike I was not trying to take the long way so I cut through my friends alley and while on the phone with my ex I saw something on the gravel path of the alley oh also the alley for some reason does not have street lamps so that doesn’t help lol so when I ride closer to the thing on the road it was a headless chicken and seeing that made my blood run cold and knowing all the stories my family would say I was scared shitless but some reason I continue to move forward and honestly do this day I don’t know why I stills went I don’t know if it was my ego or me being curious wtf did this so I continue to go and I see another a headless chicken and something was different it was a different side like one body on the left and one on the right it was like a pattern it continued to the end of the alleys and the curiosity was ruining the my veins honestly as being a believer I truly thought I was encountering something not normal and the type of alley Is like it ends and it continue to the street so I could choose to continue through the alley or take the long way on the street near the park where the bad shit happens so I continue but what I say makes me tear up to this day what I describe as I continued the chickens continued the pattern then I felt like this type of evil I haven’t felt since the Robb shooting I can’t describe it enough but if you were in town you can get on what I’m saying this feeling was making my stomach turn and it was making me gossebumbs and everything then a dog from a house near the entrance of the second alley was right next to me and honstely i thought it was gonna start trying to attack me but it started walking further ahead and me all of a sudden the dog runs back and you know the sound a dog makes when you accidentally step on its paws it made that sound and ran back towards the house past me so when I look back after seeing the dog dash past me I look back ahead of me I see a dark figure like hunch over and my senses are out the fucking roof like my never felt this feeling of this flight or fight since being in school while the shooting was happening that sense came in and I just froze in place like my mind was telling me to run and I was just stuck in place and my ex was taking on the phone loud my phone was on speaker the thing looks up and it had like this dark shade of red it was the same color of the brand of sacrifice from Berserk it was the same color and my heart was beating like it was jn my ear then the thing got up on all legs but it looked weird it looks like a dog shape and ears but it legs looked like a deer like the knees and it look like it had hooves instead of paws the thing stared at me and I felt like was in the trance like I just froze and at the end of the alley there’s different alleys continue different ways the thing ran a way but like took of like a deer to one of the other alleys and I was just frozen then I went forward to what it was doing and it was eating not the chicken like if a rabid dog like it’s body the body was fine but the head was missing I was scared shitless I quicky went to the store got what my cousins wanted and I but I went though the street near the park I said in my head it was easier getting robbed then seeing that shit agian when I got home I was like in shock I clouldnt talk then I didn’t say anything until my ex threaten to hang up on me so when my mom came home I told her what I saw and she didn’t believe me so I convinced me to go through the alley and all the chickens were there she can vouch for me what I saw was real then she gave me a lecture that leaving without permission encourages bad stuff to happen to this day I don’t know what I saw I can link the tik tok in the comments but I still tear up thinking about this I don’t know if it’s ptsd fear or sum shit I don’t know I never felt fear an evil like that if anybody can explain or give insight something or if more people see this thing side note I never touch drugs I’ve been clean all my 19 years of living sorry for this long story if I ramble to much or say to much extra stuff I’m sorry thanks for letting me share

Thought I would share a story

When I was 16, I was a teenage dirtbag and always ditched school. Well one morning two of my best friends decided we would all ditch together and come back to my house since nobody was going to be home.

We’re sitting in the living room watching Jerry Springer when all of a sudden my friends turn to look at me and ask “Is your sister home?”

“No, she’s at school.”

They immediately stand up, freaking out and tell me they’re leaving. I was confused so I asked them why.

“We heard someone running up your stairs.”

I hadn’t heard a single thing. As they were leaving, I told them “Oh okay just leave me here with someone possibly in my house.”

Then I heard it. Footsteps running up the damn stairs.

I thought, maybe my sister is home and I just didn’t know. So I’m walking down the upstairs hallway, hear running towards my sisters bedroom. I call out for my sister, didn’t get a reply. So now I’m just standing in an empty bedroom
thinking I have finally lost my mind.

Then I hear a little girl giggling.

I stare at the opposite side of the room and I’m just listening to this fucking giggle like this isn’t happening.

So I did the only logical thing I could think of. I took my shoe off and threw it at the wall yelling “GET OUT!”

Then the girl starts crying and going back down the hallway. At this point I’m just mad because what the fuck is even happening right now.

Didn’t hear anything after that. I went back downstairs to watch tv.

I don’t remember how much time passed but it was one of the girls birthdays, who was at my house. We’re all hanging out with her family and she goes “Oh hey OP, my friend so-and-so is here. She’s a Medium.” Or whatever they’re called.

“Oh good.”

“We have a ouija board. You need to ask questions.”

“Absolutely not. You’re going to open up a portal in my fucking house.”

“We can find out who it is and what it wants.”

“I don’t want to know who it is. Please do not do this.”

Some time goes by and my friend yells “Her name is Theresa and she’s 9 years old.”

I haven’t lived in peace since.

My dad's encounter

I have a few real life ghost stories, none are my own (sadly) but from trusted sources.

This one is from my dad who passed quite a few years ago now.

He was a tradie and was often busy with work and not one to take time off. However, he had asthma that would only cause him concern if he got a bad chest infection, and this one time he did.

So bad that he was put in hospital for a few nights just so they could keep an eye on him. First night he was there he said that he was in a shared dormatory with a good few number of beds, it was late when he was admitted so he was mindful not to disturb the other patients - of which he counted one at the far end and one in the next bed.

During the night he rang the nurses station bell, she visited and checked on him - sorted whatever and was leaving all is normal so far. In passing my dad had said that he was sorry for ringing the bell as he didn't want to disturb the other patients especially the chap in the next bed - which had the curtain drawn. The nurse looked perplexed and said that there was only 2 in this evening, my dad and the chap on the other side of the dorm.

My dad disagreed and said, no, I think there's another chap, I have heard shuffling in the bed and the bed light has come on at least once this evening.

The nurse took a longer more knowing look at my dad, and said,

Stranger things have happened.

My dad knew I loved stories like this so couldn't wait to tell me when he got home.

Thanks for reading.

My first ITC contact by name!

Hi all! I just wanted to share a screenshot I took! This is the first time an ITC device said hi to me by name!! See in the speech box where it says "Hi Lee" (I'm Lea, pronounced LEE) So cool!

Me and my spouse have been hunting for over 10 years and I have heard my name called out before but not like written on the screen lol. I love the validation and I had to take a screenshot. I was getting some pretty good responses that night.

The app I used is THRESHOLD: Spirit Box & EVP app. It's an ITC and multi tool on Android, not sure if it's on IOS.

I've tried a few others and love my PSB7, but there's nothing like seeing your name on screen to know they are trying to reach out 😄
