Hey, everybody, a few years ago I read Worm for the first time and made a yt video about it. Well a ton of you watched that (thank you so much) and the whole process of reading worm and making that video showed me that I could actually write something and people would see it. And this is that. It's a sci-fi audio drama and while I won't say it's exactly like worm I really just wanted to say thank you all for the confidence booster!

Let's imagine that Carrie triggers as a child just like in the novels.
I think most people are familiar that Carrie = Telekinesis, so I'll put only the most relevant feats from each version here.
Novel Carrie
1976 Carrie
2002 Carrie
2013 Carrie
2026 Carrie

(Reddit made all words in the title seem to start with capital letters before I posted, so now we are stuck with oc written like that)
So I was coming up with at trigger while talking to people, and that led me to realizing I need more information/thought on power created people
The trigger goes: A person created through a power (a tinker power or a master one) is eager to leave their home state/country, specially when a political turn happens towards bigotry to power creations. However, as they leave they discover they are bound to a certain area, and can't exit/survive outside it
As was pointed out to me, this category of person is probably not big enough for an actual hate movement, but they could be targets in a general anti-cape movement. I also think she could just happen to belong to some minority group, and the oppression from that mixes up with the alienation from being artificial.
But I am curious, what is said about the situation of artificial people in canon?
For the power, we came up with a Mover one that brings her back to places she has been in, specially ones she's very familiar with, further boxing her in. Furthermore, it could let her merge with the environment and control it, or hide underground
If I give her a trump aspect, it would be about some benefit from using parahuman-affected matter, and/or gaining some sort of charge from being in a place while parahumans use their powers

Taylor attempts to fry the Azazel with a paradox - "this statement is false". The suit then gives a near identical answer to everyone's favourite little blue moron in Portal 2 with "I'll go with true. There, that was easy"

Actually chuckled in this one. This is my first time reading and I'm really enjoying the ride, I want to know how this story ends but also I don't want to finish it, lol. Crushed 23.2 or .3 I think.

“Just about,” I said. I rejoined them. My mom was already ready with three travel mugs of coffee with lids, and with three sandwiches wrapped in paper towels, each with a little marking on the folded corner of the paper towel that stuck out. The Brandish icon, the Laserdream icon, and a star with five prongs sticking out the top.
Which was a hilarious way of marking something ‘no egg’.
What does that mean?

As we know they are definitely different people.

Spoilers ahead.
Pact. At 6.5. "You didn't include me in XYZ decision so you earn a permanent b*tch mode from me."
She wasn't even there for the decisions (familiar, cabal) she's complaining about not being consulted on. She was abducted and willed into fkng Blake even more.
Those decisions were hail mary survival moves. There'd be no one to be a b*tch to were they not taken.
It's like she expects Blake to freeze time and the back-to-back punches to deliberate with her about whether to dodge left or right.
Dude bleeds himself to survive by diminishing his sense of self and she calls him selfish. Lol.
Her kind of character is in dire need for a reality check what-if. 99% of practitioners around the globe would treat her as no more than a disposable source of power. Same for almost anyone in the Thorburn line. Same for her were the positions reversed, I'm sure.
I smell a trope for positions reversing later, and if that happens, I would be very surprised if she's even 5% as decent to Blake as he tries to be to her.
It's very weird how pissed she is about the familiar and cabal decisions. It's like she's watching someone ruin a property that she's promised. Kind of like how the rest of the Thorburns see Blake I guess.
Anyway, yeah, not a fan of her.

Good morning / afternoon / evening everyone ! So, as I once said under my previous alignment chart, I was planning to do one on powers. For space reasons I included six PRT classifications for the moment. Once this one is filled, we will move on to the next six. We'll proceed randomly.
Day 1 : Which Worm/Ward character has the most versatile Brute power ?
The most upvoted comment/character wins.

If I understood correctly the firstt post was blocked because of the flair not being ward spoiler, assumed that it maded sens to put "worm spoiler" since it also spoil worm ending too
Please don't kick me if it's still not allowed I won't repost it
for those who need to know it also spoil even of the last 5 chapter of worm parahuman
----------
Ok so that will need some context, 1 year ago I started a game with friend because they are french and introducing worm was hard otherwise, SO I decide to play out the game right in brockton around the time Taylor got out for the first time. long story short we played up to bakuda arrest and the player joined the hero side, player asked me to keep going and I was expecting some heavy divergence from the plot, but up until the nine they never managed to actually take down the undersider
We ended up touching the system a bit but it won't be revelant here
Why do I need help?
Basicly they were present against jack in LA and a friend of the character got looped by gray boy there to save a player
Then Scion happenned, now without going in detail they managed to have access to an all or nothing option (out of poor management on my side as the dm) that could pop the time bubble
Now I don't know what to do once the bubble pop, scion is still alive so no titan, but do I make it a broken trigger or do I have it open up?
My point being
Broken trigger
-Chance are infinitly low
-GM and the end of worm isn't really a win I wanna keep the somber situation
Let the character out
-I know they like it a lot
-Time wise she barelly spent 1 day in the bubble so far, so she could still be sane enough and scion isn't dead yet
-They want me to go forward with ward event (and they changed a lot of what is gonna happen there) and don't want to break out the "popping a bubble is bad" information too soon

I'm am currently learning coding to eventually make parahuman into a game (if I get the permission that is). Might take years for me to do it. but I am wondering if anyone planning/already starting to code it? I want to help in some way.

I may be misunderstanding what's going on, but from my understanding, [Tattletale] told Vicky that she deserved to be raped for being too mean to Nazis and using Amy to make it right so she wouldn't feel good in her last moments. She later says she bluffed Cradle's shard's clairaudience, but I don't understand what the bluff was and don't know if that was part of it.

I remember something about Countessa's titan and the Simurgh, but what about in the end?
Was it to actually become another Entity? Was it to control Earth and farm humans until another Entity came along? Or just continue making new wars and conflicts with no end goal anymore?
Or did she actually have any plan beyond vague biological programming?

Ive been thinking about some of the canon trigger events and I wonder what people think is the worst one to experience and why.
Even characters who haven't got canon trigger events, from the info we DO know, how bad do you think theirs was?

I started listening to the band GoodKid about 6 months ago. In roughly August, I came across a short saying their song Atlas was based on Worm. I had heard my brother mention reading worm once or twice so I picked it up. I finished Worm maybe two weeks ago and it was epic but I'm kind of at a loss for how these two could be related. I've looked on Reddit and YouTube but it's a pretty unpopular song from a relatively small band written about a book with such a steep time commitment so you guys might have to help me out.
Here's the song:
https://youtu.be/KDq99gw22Mw?si=bi_QrACUAK_BGGc6
Here's what I've deduced so far
The title is obviously the same as the name of the bestest abomination boy Atlas. I don't really see him in this I'm kind of ignoring that tidbit. The first verse and chorus talk a lot about Taylor's crumbling morals but what the heck is the second verse talking about?? Is it from Tattletale talking to Panacea about what happened on the golden morning? Does that mean the whole song is supposed to be from Lisa's perspective?
