Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions Boycott question
Hi,
I feel like I’m always seeing posts of companies to boycott that invest in ICE, AI, Israel, etc. but I’m having trouble finding alternatives for a lot of companies. For example I use Amazon to buy almost everything. I’m disabled so I pretty much shop online for everything I need. So what’s the best alternative to Amazon? Amazon is the biggest example I have but there’s so many more. Has anyone created like a master list of companies to boycott with good alternatives?
Any advice is appreciated, thank you

Fellow disabled person here, and it definitely is a hard one to cut out. If you have pets, I love Chewy! They ship super fast and have incredible customer service/satisfaction policies. I’ve also never had to speak to an AI agent so that’s also a plus as well. For normal, day-to-day things, I’ve found Costco delivery or local grocery pickup very helpful. For other products, most companies have started doing their own loyalty programs, especially if you choose a subscriber and save option! I’ve gotten a lot of free products this way through loyalty points/rewards, and they ship to you exactly when you need them ◡̈ I will say, it’s almost impossible to avoid every company that donates to awful causes, and as long as you’re boycotting to the best of your ability, I think that’s great. Best of luck!

You have asked such a wonderful question, u/Level-Bobcat-7727. I live in a place almost completely devastated by Amazon undercutting local businesses. Suffice to say, it has been very difficult to find alternatives for quite a few things.
I have reduced my purchases significantly and foregone most 'wants' for basic needs. In lieu of Amazon, I go to farmers' markets for food, and repair in lieu of getting new electronics when I can, etc.
Books are a bit more difficult to obtain, but am going second-hand for the most part.
Thanks a ton to u/sirdef for the goodgoodgood.co suggestion, and will keep it as a bookmark. Kobo is a great option, as suggested there. Hopefully, there will be some more options in my area soon.
