Dehumanization An Israeli man filmed himself attacking a Palestinian solidarity display on a California beach. In the footage, he tears down a Palestinian flag, damages belongings, and shouts “f*ck Palestine”. The video has been widely praised on Israeli social media.

somehow he is not arrested. i am tired of saying: what if cards were reversed? bc they ve been reversed multipe times, and whoever dares to go against israel's monstrosities is being charged with hate crime. the most recent is the Wisconsin congressional candidate, Matthew Arndt, arrested after saying: "Fuck Israel"? "THE VICTIM" followed the man per his own report. He disguised his face and was explicitly saying: WOW, WOW, bc his english vocabulary is limited to hate words, give me-give me, and WOW.

It bothers me to no end that people like this can still say whatever they want without fear of repercussion, while anyone who wants to say Palestinians shouldn't die has to watch their words extremely closely. Seinfeld can say "I'm racist" without concern, but say free Palestine and you may well lose your job.

This looks like a video for social media clout. He is so much younger and bigger than the man he is approaching. It is an easy mark to showcase Jewish power with, to approach an old man doing little more than saying Free Palestine, showing a flag, and showing what looks like photos of the horrors of war a la Picasso's 1937 Guernica. It is true the phrase Free Palestine has something of different applications that might cause offense, in certain circles, but presuming such with aggressive behavior like this is not decorous at all.
Furthermore hatred of the Palestinian flag implies disapproval of the 1947 UN plan to establish the states of Israel and Palestine to an extent, especially so violently expressed hatred. These actions hardly reflect what one would hope Israelis would put forth as an international diplomatic stance, and more reflects this man's own mental health state. His evocation of sexist language stands out in particular, and we all know from the Vagina Monologues that war is not kind to women.

I genuinely wonder what will come first: the complete erasure of the Palestinian people or mankind awaking to the fact the victims of genocide can also be genocidal.
Were I a betting man, I'd put it all on the former. Humans don't, can't, learn without suffering and pain first.
