WIP Unveiling the Gypsy Spirit: A Childhood Dream Captured in Watercolor
Work in Progress by Orit Dagan ©
Stepping into the final details of the caravan interior, this piece has become a beautiful tribute to a lifelong fascination.
Growing up, I was always drawn to the magnetic energy of Gypsy culture—the vibrant colors, the rich fabrics, and the haunting music. In fact, every Halloween, I loved to dress up as a gypsy fortune teller.
Now, through every watercolor paint brushstroke of rich textiles and gleaming brass, that childhood cosplay is finally coming to life on the illustration board.

finished piece Belonging, acrylic paint on canvas by Srish Creates [OC]
This piece feels like belonging - to a person, place or time. The golden star exploding out of her chest represents her truest, most vibrant self that has spent a long time being shrouded in the black of mourning. As the golden veil of enlightenment and intimacy wrap around her, the safety it creates allows the grief to lift.
Suddenly, everything she had kept buried in her heart begins to erupt into this supernova, its rays beginning to reach out as her truth shines through for the first time in a long time.

question/need advice (NOT MY ART) So i've got this framed piece, want to know if anyone has more info of the painter / painting(s)
Exactly as the title says, i'd love to know more of this artist.. i'd gotten it from a friend, and they got it from their passed away grandfather, who's had it for agesss (many many years, atleast ten)
And also, what are those things called thats on the top and bottom of the artwork, like slim horizontal beams.. (sorry for my english, im Dutch)
Also, would this be a legitimate piece or some print.. since it is very textured
I've searched as best as i could on 'Fernand Brenas', but would love more info

finished piece Maximalist Soulfishing. Spraypaint on Canvas by Austin Weber
Weird moment in my life. Feels like it's always that way. Art solves nothing but it does allow me to make something beautiful/ create a strange expressive expulsion from the wreckage. Dream on.

WIP Still life painting, feels empty.
Canvas is roughly 24 by 36. I realized it was a little off centered so I added a few items on the left yet it still feels empty. Any advice? I’m in the early underpainting stages rn (obvi lol) so it’s the best chance to fix anything before I start

How to find your "style" as a painter? .. SWIPE for progress images
What a question. For too long I tried to answer it by thinking, looking at other artists work, trying to rationalize my way through to an answer. And long story short, that didnt work well. It just made me feel stuck.
What did work though: Doing paintings, a lot of paintings. Not just mindlessly but good efforts, Really trying to produce something I liked. Learning as I went along, improving on each piece with what I learned from the previous one.
It also made sense to set quite a bit of time aside each day, and on a longer time horizon as well. a 3 months, 4 hrs a day for example is a good stretch, which allows you to make some good progess.
This painting was part of such an exploration back in 2021.
Hope you like it
