Video [jack] Every team needs a Nick Pivetta.
Just goes to show the passion this group has this year. Bodes well for the series in Milwaukee. LFGSD

Pitching wise? Yes, Jake. Bat shit crazy, insane wise? Good old Milton Bradley or Tommy Pham

Milton Bradley, that's a name from the past! I remember watching the Padres playing in Philly and I literally thought Milton Bradley was going to go into the stands and fight the fans. Then remember when Bud Black held him back from fighting at Petco Park and Bradley blew out his knee?

I think one of the original Twitter commenters got it right:
“Good fucking shit right there, motherfuckers! That’s my goddamn shit! Let’s fucking go!”

When describing the likely mindset of Pivetta to my wife before the game yesterday, I told her to think of a Pitbull that just got thrown a raw steak. I knew this guy would come out spitting fire and give us a great chance to win, and was not disappointed.

Being able to have a very short leash is a big advantage. I really appreciate Stamen not letting a pitcher languish at all

Be careful though getting fired up with him, he may hurt you. He and King looked great and dialed in mentally as well..

Missing context. Is he pissed he was pulled? Pissed he left guys out there? Amped that he gave us 3 clean innings? Some combination?

it was after chicago scored their one run in the top of the 3rd and then pivetta proceeded to get out of the jam leaving 2 cubs on base stranded.

Homie almost threw out his arm slamming his glove against them innocent coolers. Easy. We need that energy AND your arm, brother.
