Game Discussion Situation in EU servers

PUBG PC EU Ranked Is Becoming a Serious Problem — Cheaters, Boosters, Server Issues, and Anti-Cheat Concerns

Is EU Ranked becoming a high-versus-high experience like in CS? What is happening to the competitive integrity of this game?

I've been playing PUBG since the beginning of this year, with around 1,000 hours played, and the current state of EU Ranked is extremely frustrating. I've played TPP and FPP, both duos and squads, and the situation feels worse every week. Especially on weekends, it is becoming increasingly difficult to enjoy the game.

Let's talk about the main problems.

1. SUSPICIOUS PLAYERS AND CHEATING CONCERNS

Why does it feel like so many lobbies contain suspicious players? Some players seem to know exactly where everyone is, make incredibly precise peeks, and consistently win fights in ways that raise serious questions.

I'm not saying every skilled player is cheating. There are obviously exceptionally talented players in PUBG. However, when suspicious encounters happen repeatedly across different modes, and players submit reports without seeing any apparent improvement, it is reasonable to question the effectiveness of the anti-cheat system.

2. BOOSTING AND RANKED MATCHMAKING

Why can a level 500, Tier 5 player queue with seemingly fresh Bronze accounts around level 80 and potentially boost them through Ranked?

Why can highly ranked players play alongside brand-new or very low-ranked accounts in the first place? What safeguards are in place to prevent players from exploiting matchmaking to boost others?

And why do some players with very low-looking statistics suddenly produce exceptional performances when playing alongside Masters?

Statistics alone do not prove cheating or boosting. However, suspicious patterns deserve proper investigation rather than being dismissed without further examination.

3. SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE ACCELERATION

How can a player enter a vehicle and appear to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than a second?

If a vehicle is genuinely accelerating beyond its intended limits, shouldn't server-side detection identify this kind of abnormal behavior? Why does it appear that such incidents can go unpunished?

PUBG should be capable of identifying impossible movement and vehicle behavior through appropriate server-side checks.

4. EU SERVERS, HIGH PING, AND HIT REGISTRATION

Why do EU Ranked matches feel so inconsistent even when my connection appears perfectly stable?

I'm playing with around 20–40 ms ping, often with 0% packet loss, yet I still experience stuttering, lag, and inconsistent hit registration.

At the same time, I regularly encounter players with 100–140 ms ping. How does PUBG handle the differences between low-ping and high-ping players? What measures are in place to ensure fair hit registration and minimize the impact of latency and lag compensation?

I'm not suggesting that every high-ping player is cheating or should be banned. Players shouldn't be penalized simply because of their location. However, the competitive experience needs to be consistent and fair for everyone.

5. WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO REACH MASTER RANK?

Why do we see Master-ranked players with approximately 1.5 KD and 250 ADR?

There is nothing inherently wrong with those statistics, and KD or ADR alone cannot determine whether someone deserves their rank. However, when questionable matchmaking, suspected boosting, suspicious encounters, and inconsistent server performance are combined, it becomes difficult to understand what Ranked is supposed to represent.

I've reached Crystal 1 with approximately 250 ADR and 1.7 KD myself, with around 1,000 hours played. I'm not claiming to be a professional player. I'm simply trying to understand why the competitive experience feels so inconsistent.

6. TEMPORARY BANS AND REPEAT OFFENDERS

I regularly submit reports and support tickets, provide player names, and report suspicious behavior. Yet the responses and apparent outcomes often leave me feeling that little has changed.

When action is taken, it often appears to involve a temporary ban. What happens afterward? Are repeat offenders receiving stronger penalties? Are linked accounts and boosting networks being investigated? Are the same players returning and continuing as before?

I understand that PUBG cannot disclose private account investigations or reveal every detail of its anti-cheat methods. However, players need confidence that their reports lead to meaningful action.

MY QUESTIONS TO KRAFTON AND PUBG:

What is actually being done to protect EU Ranked?

  • Why can highly ranked players potentially exploit matchmaking by playing with low-level accounts?
  • How are abnormal vehicle acceleration and impossible movement detected?
  • What improvements are being made to cheat detection and penalties for repeat offenders?
  • What is being done to address server stuttering, hit registration, and inconsistent experiences involving high-ping players?
  • Why does Ranked increasingly feel unpredictable rather than competitive?

I don't care whether I play TPP or FPP, duos or squads. The experience feels increasingly frustrating across all of them, especially during weekends.

I'm not asking for every highly skilled player to be banned. I'm asking for a competitive environment where legitimate players can compete without constantly questioning whether their opponents are exploiting the game.

PUBG has the potential to be an incredible competitive shooter, but what is the point of Ranked if players continue losing confidence in the integrity of their matches?

I've invested a significant amount of time in this game because I genuinely enjoy it. However, the current state of EU Ranked needs serious attention.

KRAFTON, please take the state of EU Ranked seriously. Players deserve better matchmaking, more reliable servers, effective anti-cheat enforcement, and a competitive environment they can trust.

Game Discussion Cheaters

PUBG PC EU Ranked Is Becoming a Joke — Cheaters, Boosters, Broken Servers, and a Useless Anti-Cheat System

Is EU Ranked turning into HvH servers like CS? Because seriously, what the hell is going on?

I've been playing PUBG since the beginning of this year, with around 1,000 hours played, and the current state of EU Ranked is absolutely ridiculous. I've played TPP and FPP, both duos and squads, and the situation feels worse every week. Especially on weekends, it is becoming almost impossible to enjoy the game.

Let's talk about the actual problems.

1. CHEATERS EVERYWHERE

Why does it feel like every other lobby has suspicious players? People are peeking like they're professional players, seemingly knowing exactly where everyone is, and winning fights in ways that make you question what you're even playing against.

I'm not saying every good player is cheating. Obviously, there are extremely skilled players in this game. But when you constantly encounter suspicious behavior across different modes and send report after report, you start questioning whether the anti-cheat system is doing its job.

2. BOOSTING IS OUT OF CONTROL

Why is a level 500, Tier 5 player able to queue with fresh-looking Bronze accounts around level 80 and potentially boost them through Ranked?

Why is it possible for highly ranked players to play alongside brand-new or very low-ranked accounts in the first place? What protections exist against players deliberately exploiting matchmaking to boost others?

And why are players with extremely weak-looking statistics suddenly putting up unbelievable performances when playing with Masters?

Statistics alone don't prove cheating or boosting. But repeated suspicious patterns deserve proper investigation, not just another automated response.

3. WHAT EXACTLY IS HAPPENING WITH VEHICLES?

How can a player get into a vehicle and appear to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than a second?

If a player is genuinely accelerating beyond the vehicle's intended limits, shouldn't server-side checks detect that immediately? Why does behavior like this appear to go unpunished?

PUBG should be able to distinguish legitimate gameplay from impossible movement or vehicle behavior.

4. EU SERVERS, HIGH-PING PLAYERS, AND HIT REGISTRATION

Why do EU Ranked matches feel so inconsistent even when my connection looks perfectly fine?

I'm playing with around 20–40 ms ping, often with 0% packet loss, yet I still experience stuttering, lag, and questionable hit registration.

At the same time, I regularly encounter players with 100–140 ms ping. How is the game handling the difference between low-ping and high-ping players? What protection exists against the disadvantages and inconsistencies that can arise from latency and lag compensation?

I'm not saying every player with high ping is cheating or should be banned. Players shouldn't be punished simply for their location. But the experience needs to be consistent and fair for everyone, regardless of ping.

5. WHAT DOES IT EVEN TAKE TO BE A MASTER ANYMORE?

Why are there Master-ranked players with approximately 1.5 KD and 250 ADR?

There is nothing inherently wrong with those statistics, and KD or ADR alone cannot determine whether somebody deserves a rank. However, when you combine questionable matchmaking, suspected boosting, suspicious gameplay, and inconsistent competitive integrity, it becomes difficult to understand what Ranked is supposed to represent.

I've reached Crystal 1 with around 250 ADR and 1.7 KD myself, with approximately 1,000 hours in the game. I'm not pretending to be a professional player. I'm simply trying to understand why the competitive experience feels so inconsistent.

6. TEMPORARY BANS ARE NOT ENOUGH IF THE SAME PLAYERS KEEP COMING BACK

I regularly submit support tickets and reports, provide player names, and flag suspicious behavior. Yet the responses and apparent outcomes often leave me feeling that nothing meaningful has changed.

When action is taken, it often appears to be a temporary ban. What happens afterward? Are repeat offenders receiving stronger penalties? Are linked accounts and boosting networks being investigated? Are the same players simply returning and continuing as before?

I understand that PUBG cannot disclose private account investigations or reveal every detail of its anti-cheat methods. But players need to see evidence that reports lead to meaningful enforcement.

MY QUESTION TO KRAFTON AND PUBG:

What is actually being done to protect EU Ranked?

  • Why can high-ranked players potentially exploit matchmaking with low-level accounts?
  • How are suspicious vehicle acceleration and impossible movement detected?
  • What improvements are being made to anti-cheat detection and repeat-offender penalties?
  • What is being done about server stuttering, hit registration, and inconsistent high-ping encounters?
  • Why does Ranked increasingly feel like a lottery rather than a competitive mode?

I don't care whether I play TPP or FPP, duos or squads. The experience feels increasingly frustrating across all of them, especially during weekends.

I'm not asking for every skilled player to be banned. I'm asking for a competitive environment where legitimate players can compete without constantly questioning whether the opponent is exploiting the game.

PUBG has the potential to be an incredible competitive shooter, but what is the point of Ranked if players lose faith in the integrity of the matches?

I've invested time into this game because I genuinely enjoy it. But if this is the state of EU Ranked, something needs to change.

KRAFTON, please take the state of EU Ranked seriously. Players are getting tired of reporting the same problems and feeling like nothing changes.
