Ps3 Advice

Hey everyone, I’m planning to buy a Ps3 Super Slim again to start my collection again before the digital storefront shuts down next year. Any advice to get like if there’s a way to buy some digital ps3 games early so when I get the system I can have some digital games ready to go or any good game recommendations for the system? Thanks!

Why not buy a modded PS3? You can have your own store with multiple games

the guy is literally just hating for no reason😭 the super slim model is good. will probs last longer than the fat and og slim. ik cause my super slim lasted the longest out of the other ones

my super slim is still going strong, had it since 2017? the other models i got beforehand lasted abt 2 years but honestly tho it depends on how long you’ve been using it i feel.

Get super slim, had one for 13 years with insane number of hours of playtime. If you want to have vanilla experience like you mentioned in the other comment, that's your best choice.

Rain, infamous festival of blood, Super stardust hd. There's honestly so many to type here, many have already made youtube vidoes on that topic. Just focus on getting games that don't have a physical release and that you find interesting

Ahh I see, are any ps1 or ps2 or psp games also available to get there too? And if so you have any recommendations for those too?

So for ps1 games, you should keep an eye for games that have a hidden cross buy feature. For example, you can buy Syphon filter and twisted metal for $6 each, and then you can get those same games on ps4/ps5 with trophy and rewind features for free, otherwise you would be paying $10 instead of $6 for each game.

PS2 games, I recommend to pick up God hand, it's really cheap hidden gem.

For psp, I recommend avoiding buying any psp or vita games and just jailbreak ps vita when you buy one. I'm usually against jailbreaking, but doing that with vita is amazing. It's a great device to play psp, vita and ps1 games.

I know Crash and Spyro are on there for sure, I'm not sure on the Vib Ribbon but it's probably there too.

Mechanically terrible and can't have no real fun because you can't softmod it, which signifigantly helps PS3s nowadays..

Hm i see.. Well for me I want a vanilla experience with my Ps3 but maybe if I want to mod it someday i can get the og slim model instead.
