Discussion Keyboard recommendation for each budget brackets

Hi! I have been wanting to do this for a while now, so basically, I wanted to put on recommendations for keyboard in price brackets, the criteria is, quality, software, and price, so you will notice that certain brands aren't part of my recommendation because for the most part they fail in the quality part

1k - 2.5k: really budget boards, there are some really good boards but for the most part this is for those who are hesitant or cannot drop money on higher priced boards.

Ajazz AK820 - its a decent board especially if you aren't going to fiddle with software, definitely has a bit higher quality than other cheapish MK (usual price goes around 1.5k)

Monsgeek Fun60 - very good board for its price, monsgeek being a branch of akko, they have good quality across the boards (goes around 1.5k - 1.8k depending on variant)

Akko 3108 - a staple from akko, one of their budget boards but still a good one (usual price is around 2.5k)

Redragon Ucal pro - another redragon, but like I said their modern boards have been very good (usual price is around 1.5k)

Akko tac75 HE - This one will be an outlier, its a great board, probably one of the best for its price, with the akko quality its very much something I would recommend generally (being an outlier its usual price is around 2.6k)

Elecfox Gen75, Linky 85 and Lumi 108 - very good brand for giving very good quality boards without breaking the wallet (price range is 2k-2.6k)

I think there are more I would like to recommend but generally this are boards I either have good experience with or have heard from friends and co-workers that have served them good for several months with no issues

3k - 4.5k:

Weikav Nut65 - Starting off strong weikav has basically been trying to match all the "higher" end boards with same quality but offering lower prices, and the nut variants basically have some of the best features you can find in this price point which are rapid disassembly and pogo pins on PCB, they also offer QMK/VIA compatibility which is very nice if you want to tinker with the software a little (usual price is 3k-4k)

Yunzii B75 pro - Something a little bit more traditional, while yes compared to the nut65, its plastic board however the upside is its very light, metal MKs have a tendency to be heavy, this one doesnt have rapid disassembly but it does still have QMK/VIA support(usual price is around 4k)

Weikav Lucky65 v3 - One of their older lineups but still a very good keyboard having the same specs as their nut lineup just with different design (usual price is around 4.5k)

Monsgeek verve68 - HE keyboard from monsgeek, similar to the fun60 but this one seems to be more minimalist in design but offers the roughly the same performance (usual price is around 3.5k)

Monsgeek M1v5 - One of the most suggested boards honestly, due to its features, rapid disassembly except for the pogo pins i believe, is tri mode, compatible with both windows and mac OS, and plate mounted stabilizers, something rarely found unless you are building a custom kit (usual price is around 4.5k)

YUNZI AL68 - very good suggestion from u/skipperkid, one of yunzii's more flagship keyboards but this time in 60%, aluminum keyboard QMK/VIA, trimode, knob New25/08/2026

YUNZI IF68 - AL68's cheaper sister, due to being plastic, still has QMK/VIA and trimode but with knob and screenNew25/08/2026

5k and above: this is where we step more into enthusiast territory the massive price bracket increase is due to boards in bracket are more in line with if you really want something that resonates with you.

Nut75 - Same thing as the nut65 variant, (usual price 6k)

Rainy75 - I think this is something that took the mech keyboard world by storm, with its specs, materials and price being this low and for a board that feels like you got a fully custom board i do think it deserves the price (usual price 7k)

Wave75 - I feel like this is what rainy75 would be if it got a new version, rapid disassembly, QMK/VIA, very good quality, (usual price 6.6k)

EVO80/75 - this is my personal board, i've had it for a year now and its been a very very beautiful time typing, playing games, and overall just using it, EVO is a sub-branch of the neo boards YES those neo boards the very high quality custom keyboards, rapid disassembly, QMK/VIA, very nice colors, customizability when buying, you can choose creamy thock or marbly clack (usual price is 8k-10k)

I think these are the only boards I would personally recommend for these price brackets, some people have different opinions of course, and a lot would ask for sure what about aula, or leobog, or attack shark, and furycube, my answer to those questions is because I have bad experiences with a lot of them namely aula and leobog, both brands have consistently had subpar quality when it comes to the board it self, as well as materials used, while attack shark is a little bit better, I would generally still recommend other options as its better to buy one time a good quality product than waste money buying multiple low quality products

IF you have any suggestions, be sure to comment them along with the usual price, I hope this would help people who are looking to get a mechanical keyboard that can last them a long time

Hi guys! Help me decide please 😭 I'm stuck between these 3 keebs and can't decide what to buy.

I'll mostly use it for work and gaming. My first keeb was a Rakk Ilis with red switches. Gusto ko sana ng thocky and creamy sound, pero hindi masyadong maingay since sa office ko rin gagamitin.

AULA F99 Pro — Star Vector switches (2,759php)

AULA F99 Max — Meteor Axis Ice Cream switches (2,769php)

Elecfox Lumi 101 — Silent Momo switches (2,699php)

Sa mga nakagamit na, ano mas bet niyo sa tatlo? Pa-share naman ng experience niyo para makapag-decide na ako hahaha

well the title pretty much sums it up. both top and bottom switch pads

also through my research it says that PORON has basically no difference and IXPE is better. i dont know and i haven’t tried it, also EVA is an option and i haven’t tried that either

currently i only did 4 layers of tape mod and changed the keycaps, and im looking forward to do the plumbers tape mod on my stabilizers. but idk what should i do? any suggestions? also the bottom foam looks pretty thin too do i change that aswell?

Hellooo I’m selling 5 mechanical keyboards just to declutter, the problem is they’re all second hand (even if barely used), so I’m not sure where I can sell them for a decent price.

Any advice? 😅

Advise Recommend me a one and done MKB

Hey guys! I just picked up a new gaming laptop, the MSI Vector 16 HX AI with an RTX 5080, and I’m finally getting back into PC gaming!

Adulting forced me to switch to a MacBook for a while, so it feels good to get back into the hobby. Now I’m looking to upgrade my gaming setup, starting with a mouse and keyboard.

My current keyboard is a Keychron K6 Pro, which I’ve had since it first came out. I’m not someone who buys multiple versions of the same thing or upgrades just for the sake of upgrading. I’d rather invest in something great that I can stick with for at least 3 years.
I’m looking for a keyboard (MKB) setup with all the bells and whistles, great build quality, and features that will hold up well for years to come. Would like to size to be either 60% to 75%

My budget is flexible. I’m willing to spend over ₱15k if the setup is genuinely worth it and is THE ONE. On the other hand, if a more affordable option ticks all the boxes, I’m just as happy to go with that.

What would you guys recommend? I’d love to hear your personal experiences, especially from those who have tried different high-end options and found something they’ve stuck with long-term. I’m looking for the best overall experience, not just the most expensive gear. Thanks!

Currently looking at wooting and mchose considering they both are magnetic and has HE.

Advise Any recos please? First time to buy Mech Keeb

Hi! I'm looking for recommendations for a mechanical keyboard within a ₱2,000 budget.

My requirements:

- Red linear switches (not membrane)

- Full-size layout with a numpad

- Durable enough for 8 hours of daily moderate-to-heavy work

- Also suitable for casual gaming

- Good overall build quality and reliability for long-term use

I'd prefer something with a good track record from actual owners rather than just popular recommendations.

Also if you know some affordable mouse with copy and paste side button functions ( or can be programmable)

Thanks!

Advise Premium Keyboard Recommendations

Hi! I'm looking to treat myself to a premium mechanical keyboard that will last me a good while.

My Aula F75 has started failing (missed keystrokes and poor battery life), and I really dislike its software. I also had issues with it when it came with a damaged spacebar keycap when I bought it from a modding page on FB, so I'm hoping for better build quality this time.

My preferences:

- Budget: Ideally under ₱10,000, but flexible for the right keyboard.

- Layout: Preferably 75%, but open to other layouts. An easy way to type ñ would be a plus!

- Build: Preferably aluminum or metal, with a solid, premium, hefty feel.

- Features: Volume knob/roller and a screen would be nice bonuses, but neither is necessary.

- Sound: Creamy or thocky, but not a dealbreaker.

- Usage: Daily typing and gaming like RPG games; no competitive games like FPS.

- Other: Preferably great out of the box, with decent software or no software at all, and room for modding down the line.

I've used a Redragon 65%, RK98, and Aula F75 so far.

What would you recommend? Thanks!

Hi everyone.

I am new to keebs and I just got my first mechanical keyboard, AULA F75 Pro.

I just want to know where can I buy legit keycaps for my keyboard?

I would like to have some of my keys to be in different color just like from the image attached.

Also, is it hard to change keycaps?

Thank you!

My first baby, and the rest is history.

I super love this kb. One year na to sa akin and wala naman akong naging problema. Battery is still okay and both standby and connectivity are still great.

To think na nabalahura ko na to ha, puro gasgas side and ilalim at nabagsak na din, pero buhay parin.

The sound is still good, Hindi ko pa pinapalitan stock switches niya (Whale Sea) One of the best creamy stock switches I've tried.

Ang dami nang bagong keyboards ngayon, and honestly, mas marami nang better options sa price point niya. But I can definitely say na sulit na sulit to sakin.

Btw mukang malinis kasi bagong laba tinoothbrush ko pa.

Buying Help suggest any pink wireless keyboard with numpad (EXCEPT Aula)

hi! as what the title says, please suggest any pink wireless keyboard with numpad, price ranging from P800-P2000 - except from Aula brand. im using their F3099 and been experiencing that repetitive and slow keystroke kahit ganto na yung settings ko, or kahit ibahin ko pa.
