But unfortunately I won't be able to buy the volumes that were adapted into the anime, money's tight right now lol

Yes, I know. I bought volume 2 because at the time I wanted to buy it as a test, And it was also a little cheaper.

It's been a long journey

Most ppl would slap Mika as long as they got money for doing it afterwards and when it comes to Yuuchan......plenty of ppl would slap him for free or even pay to do it loool

I was just wondering if anyone else ever thought of this same connection, but when I was first watching the anime a few months ago I felt they had similar vibes and now that I just caught up on the manga it’s like almost an identical story progression to most mainline SMT (Shin Megami Tensei) games

Begins with a post apocalyptic world where the mc joins some organization dedicated to fighting back against the oppressive threat to humanity through various raids for control, organization uses demons to their advantage and flirts with ideas of corruption/humans being more dangerous than the enemies, slowly reveals involvement from higher powers, angels, and gods, devolves into chaos as main group splits apart following different ideals and powers, ends up with once allies killing each other to decide the fate of the world

Tonally I’d still say the series is most inspired by devilman, but the structure feels like it’s turned into an SMT game pretty much

You can pick more than 1 weapon listed or not listed above.

I would go for a Scythe (maybe coz of Bias), it's badass looking and cool to swing it around (I tried it). But it would be ineffective in combat and heavy to move. But it will still be my 1st option

My other option would be a compound or recurve bow coz it has a long firings range.

I made a playlist for Guren and Shinya, and I’d love to hear what other people think!

I’m curious about both the individual song choices and the playlist as a whole. Do the songs fit Gureshin to you? Does the playlist feel cohesive despite the variety of genres, or are there tracks that feel out of place?

I’d appreciate honest opinions and any specific song recommendations, too!

P.S. The playlist will be updated/growing! / Плейлист будет обновляться и дополняться!

Am I the only one who's eager to see the back story or lore of the 6th trumpeter? I mean, I thought after they managed to subdue the 6th trumpeter, he will become of the Shinoa's squad or something but color me surprised, ever since that arc, no more 6th trumpeter anymore

.

How would the story change if we swap the roles of gurren and his girlfriend in his sword(i forget names sorry)

This boy is so loving😭how tf do some ppl view him as mean/unfriendly when the story shows that his colder persona was trauma and vampirism and not his real personality?! the more i learn about the real him the more it's clear those who said he was someone who's personality would make him unpopular or push everyone away (except Yuuchan) were smoking a very big delulu and copium blunt.

Mika is canonically a sweet, caring and fragile babu😭🙏or a mom😭🙏😭🙏😭🙏😭🙏

Plus, a special insert: a set of 10 postcards!

Like; -Both consider Yuu and Guren's existence the sun respectively.

-Both reject the Hiragi family.

-Both use humor/sarcasm to hide their true feeling.

-Both had no ambitions before meeting Guren/Yuu.

-Both got cucked by Yuumika and Guremahi/j

So, I read the manga until where it was released last year and didn't bother to pick it back up;

BUT!

I remember there was this one male character that was allegedly forgotten by the author & was never mentioned again.

Now that the manga is finished ( I assume? ), was his absence the biggest most mega gigga gigantic mind blowing Plot Twist in all fiction?! or did he find a vampire lady in the midst of his mission & chose the path of love instead of duty?!

I found this in VKontakte made by someone else
