Official Buying an Arix on Amazon? Assembly and support details

Post image
1 Upvotes

I'm with the OTTUNI team. Here are the assembly and support details for anyone considering an Arix on Amazon US.

Does Arix need assembly?

Yes. The tools and instructions are included. Our estimated assembly time is about 20 minutes, though yours may vary.

You can preview the assembly diagram on the Arix product page, under Installation.

Where can I get help?

For questions about assembly or adjustments, email [support@ottuni.com](mailto:support@ottuni.com). A photo or the step number in the instructions can help us understand what you're looking at.

For a missing or damaged part, a delivery issue, or another problem with your Amazon order, start with the help options for that item in Amazon's Your Orders.

How do returns work?

Check the return terms on the Amazon listing before buying. After ordering, use Your Orders to check your item's return eligibility, deadline, available return options, and any applicable fees.

We recommend keeping the box and packing materials until you've assembled and checked the chair.

You're welcome to ask product questions in the comments below. Please keep order numbers, shipping labels, and addresses out of public comments.

Official A closer look at how the OTTUNI Arix adjusts

I'm with the OTTUNI team. We've included two adjustment diagrams from our Arix product page to show the recline and lumbar support more clearly.

The backrest reclines up to 125 degrees and locks in four positions. You can choose a more upright position at your desk or lean back for a break.

The lumbar pad moves up and down through 40 mm, about 1.6 inches. Moving it changes where the support meets your lower back.

The armrests also raise and lower, while the pads slide forward and back and swivel. That lets you change where they sit under your forearms. The headrest adjusts in both height and tilt.

Is there an adjustment you'd like a closer look at? Ask below, especially if something isn't clear from the product photos.

Official Will the Arix fit your setup? Check these measurements before ordering

Comparing Arix with the chair you use now? We've put the main measurements here so they're easy to check.

These are the dimensions listed on our product page:

  • Seat height: 18.1 to 21.1 inches
  • Seat width: 19.9 inches
  • Seat depth: 17.3 inches
  • Overall chair width: 26.2 inches

If your current seat height feels comfortable, check whether it falls within Arix's adjustment range. For seat depth, compare with a chair that lets you sit back without the front edge pressing into the backs of your knees.

For desk clearance, measure from the floor to the lowest point under your desktop, including any drawer or support frame. The space available for the armrests depends on both the seat height and the armrest setting.

You can check the current price and delivery options on Amazon US:

Not sure about the desk fit? Post your desk clearance and the seat height you normally use. We'll help you compare the measurements.

Official Like a mesh back but prefer a cushioned seat? Meet the OTTUNI Arix

Hey everyone, I'm with OTTUNI. Our Arix chair is now on Amazon US in white and black. The white version is pictured here.

Arix pairs a mesh back with a molded-foam seat. It's worth a look if you like airflow through the backrest but prefer a padded seat over sitting on mesh.

The lumbar support moves up and down, and both the headrest and armrests are adjustable. The backrest also locks in four recline positions, so you can change the angle when you take a break from desk work.

We designed Arix with home desks in mind, including ones tucked into bedrooms or living rooms. The chair stays there after work, so we wanted the shape to fit the room as well as the desk.

Before ordering, compare the seat dimensions with a chair you already find comfortable. And if a measurement is missing or you can't tell how an adjustment works from the listing, ask here. We'll help you check before you order.

Product Testing We test chair parts harder than you’d ever use them at home

Most people aren’t going to slam an armrest, overload a seat, or pull on a backrest over and over again.

That’s kind of the point.

When we test parts, we try to push them past normal day-to-day use and see what starts moving, flexing, loosening, or failing first.

Some tests look a little ridiculous, but they’re useful. It’s a lot easier to spot a weak point in a controlled test than after someone has been sitting in the chair for a year.

We’ll be posting more of these here as we go.

Is there any part of an office chair you’d actually want to see pushed to failure?

Questions If you could fix one thing about your current chair, what would it be?

Mine would probably be the armrests.

They’re fine most of the time, but somehow they’re never quite where I want them when I switch between typing and leaning back.

Curious what everyone else would change first if they could.

Lumbar support? Seat depth? Armrests? Headrest? Or something completely different?

Official Welcome to r/Ottuni

Hey, welcome to r/Ottuni.

We started this sub because office chairs are one of those things you don't think much about until something starts bothering you.

We'll post Ottuni updates and product testing here, but we'd also like this to be useful for anyone trying to make their setup more comfortable.

Share your desk, ask about chair setup, complain about that one adjustment that never feels quite right, or tell us what you'd change about ours.

You don't need to own an Ottuni chair to post here. If something works, say so. If it doesn't, we'd rather hear that too.

To get things started: what are you sitting on right now, and what's the one thing you wish it did better?
