i recently downloaded Mizuno's 16 resource pack and the CIT pack as well, but when i loaded onto minecraft (with the correct optifine version) all the CIT items were black and purple textures but with the right model, and I've tried everything I can find online about it but nothing is working, does anyone else have this issue?

Can someone please make a mod that implements your paid-for cape? I understand this is a dumb post but a lot of versions/modpacks don't work well with optifine and it'd be awesome to just have the cape as a novelty!

PLEASE HELP: I've been going in gd circles. Like seriously, trying to figure out how the cat model applies to all cat varients and KEEPING IT locked to varients (so that a vanilla persian cat is still a persian cat just a persian cat with my cat model and texture) should be the easiest thing in the world but I can't find correct information anywhere.

i feel like this SHOULD be easy to find out but i've spent all afternoon on this. So; I have a custom model for all cats (cat.jem) and custom textures for each variant plus some (like, calico2, calico3, etc.)

so far, every time i've loaded in, the cat.jem will just load without any texture, as the directory textures/entity/cat is missing a /X.png, but every time i've connected it to a png it just sticks it to that cat variant. iv'e done so much troubleshooting that I even messed something up and now it's not showing my model at all and i have no idea why.

using etf/emf on fabric 1.21.3

idk what to do and cant find anything useful online pls help ;-; (using 1.21.11 through basic minecraft launcher)

Cannot download optifine, I just want to know if it is my problem or theirs

I have optifine and shaders installed, and the button is here but whenever i press it it doesnt open the shader tab

just installed it for 26.2 and went to put on shaders and the setting refuses to open, never had this happen before and its zero mentions of it online. Has anyone had this issue before?

What's going on with the OF, there is a new minecraft version up to date with new leaves-trees-muschrooms-beds, i think its 26.4, but there is no new versions of OF on download section, the latest one is 1.21.11 which is from the December 2025...

Hi all, been trying to get optifine on my mac for 26.2 for probably past few days. works no problem for 1.21, but when i try to run it it simply wont open, if i try redownloading it, it'll give the same error. "java application launch failed"

Maybe its not available yet? I don't know much about computers, cant see how it would'nt be if the download is there. Seems like everyone else can download it on windows. I tried looking EVERYWHERE for some sort of tutorial or explanation as to why on mac it cannot run and theres nothing. Not a single mention about it. Which Is absolutely mind staggering to me since i know theres a large number of people who play minecraft on mac. Yet not a single person out of the endless youtube tutorials to be like "yea 26.2 optifine not yet available for mac!" pretty insane.. if anyone knows anything please get back to me on here, thank you!

I'm trying to recreate the boat from beta versions of Minecraft, the only problem is that water is clipping through the bottom. I have bottom_no_water but it doesn't seem to do anything.

I'm using EMF and ETF for NeoForge 1.21.1.

I am trying to remove the color tint from sugarcane but the method listed on https://optifine.readthedocs.io/colormaps.html isn't working.

assets/minecraft/optifine/colormap/blocks/reeds.properties:

Is there any other method to do this?

I'm using curseforge for my mods and noticed this weird mod downloading after I added optifine into my mod folder in my files. I download optifine gor 1.21.3 directly from the website and it shows up the way optifine always does as a file, but on curse this shows up.

I dont want to download a virus again please tell me this isnt that. Ive downloaded optifine before and this never showed up

im using rx 9060 xt ryzen 5 7500f and optifine 1.8.9

im using complementary reimagined shaders 5.8.1

when i dont use shaders in the lobby i get 200-500 fps with 80-150 1% lows

when i do use shaders in the lobby i get 30 fps with 7 fps 1% lows

when i dont use shaders in bedwars i get around 800 fps with 500 fps 1% lows

but when i do use shaders i get 300 fps and its occasionally stuttering with 20-100 1% lows

Tried downloading 26.2 Optifine but it refuses to execute/open to install. Anyone else having this issue?

I don't mean graphic optimization as Sodium.
I'd like to use only one mod to have illumination while holding torch and to see many glasses/panes together as one glass/pane.
