Getting Oppo X9 ultra for Rs.1.38 lakhs in Croma. They are giving flat 9% coupon plus 10% bank discount on non emi. X9 ultra will go stock out by this month confirmed by retailers.
Only issue being Croma is only selling Orange variant stock while the Black is what attracted me the most. Amazon flipkart has black stock but then Croma is giving that 9% coupon on top of bank discount. Any suggestions guys.

I am one of thoose guys that almost buys a phone just to have a nice cover. iPhone/samsung have so many options and Theese ch phones dont have shit. Yeah u Can some boring as cases from china but come on.

Think that sucks
Hello. Currently I have google pixel 6 (yeah old phone) and I'm located in UK. I'm aiming to buy a new phone during black Friday deals. I do have few phones which I'm keeping an eye (Samsung ultra 26, pixel 11 pro etc) and one of them is Oppo find x9. However I'm not sure which I should go for.
Technically to be sure I'd go for x9 ultra so that I'm sure I have everything what the company offers. However despite the cost is not a problem, is this currently price-wise option for me?
I'm defo looking for a phone with good battery so that I don't need to walk with powerbank after 2 years from use. I also looking for a phone with great camera. I do often make some amateur recordings and pictures. I do know that ultra has fantastic camera but I do wonder how much zoom will I use on this phone as for that aspect. So generally I'm not sure which version to go for.
One thing I do come across here is the camera fogging issue of these phones. Is this something ongoing? Have they fixed this? At some point I was planning to go for the ski in winter time so I was wondering if I make any recordings on the cold mountains (considering the phone heats up) will I be exposed to this. Is this issue related to all phones or is it just bad luck?
Are there any other issues I should be aware?

I'm sure me and a couple others are willing to be guinea pig and try a local install. Someone bless the thread.

Getting the ultra for ₹104,000 from Amazon India after offers and exchange. Should I buy or wait for the x10? I’m not much of a photographer though. As far as mobile gaming goes I only play Clash of Clans regularly. Currently using iPhone 15 128 gb.

Got it today
Hi everyone. I have a Chinese OPPO Find X9 Ultra (PMA110, 16GB/512GB), bought new and sealed on eBay. It worked perfectly on ColorOS 16 until I installed the ColorOS 17 beta (PMA110_17.0.0.105 CN01).
Since then, the phone reboots by itself whenever I do anything: opening apps, using the home screen, basically any action. It reboots over and over and I can't use it.
The only place it seems to stay stable is inside the Settings app.
What I've tried so far:
Force restart and charging, with the SIM removed
Recovery mode: it only shows the language selection and "wipe data". I wiped everything, same problem
The Beta Program page in Settings has no option to exit the beta or roll back
Local install of the full OTA PMA110_16.0.9.402 (CN01), MD5 verified: "installation failed", I assume because downgrading is blocked
Local install of PMA110_17.0.0.106 (CN01):Local install of PMA110_17.0.0.106 (CN01): installation failed as well
There's no authorized OPPO service center where I live, and the bootloader is locked.
Has anyone had this same issue after the ColorOS 17 beta? Did a newer build fix it? Does anyone know where to get the official rollback package for the Chinese PMA110 to go back to ColorOS 16?
Thanks in advance!

Hi, I just received my X9 ultra global version today. I'm in Australia, I believe my phone is the Singapore version.
My phone is still with ColorOS 16 after the update, anyone knows if we will get the 17? Or anyways to get the 17?

I'm an expat living in Beijing, currently using an S22 Ultra (and also used pixel 6 for long time as secondary phone). I'm planning to upgrade during the upcoming sale in China, but after watching countless comparisons and reading Reddit threads, I'm still torn between the OPPO Find X9 Ultra and Vivo X300 Ultra.
My biggest issue with Samsung is its aggressive sharpening, especially in videos. I used GCam for years to get more natural-looking photos, but I don't want to go through that again. I also miss the smooth animations and overall feel of Pixel UI.
My priorities: Natural-looking photos and videos, good main and telephoto cameras, reliable autofocus, smooth software, and a good experience with international apps. Both phones cost roughly the same here (12/512GB), so price isn't a factor.
Here are my main questions:
1. Main camera (23mm vs 35mm): I love shooting around 35mm, but OPPO's 1.5x crop seems promising. How does it compare with Vivo's native 35mm, especially in low light? Also, would Vivo's 35mm feel too narrow for everyday street videos in China?
2. Telephoto (70mm vs 85mm): I frequently use the 3x lens on my S22 Ultra and worry Vivo's 85mm might be too tight for everyday photography. How do they compare in low light, autofocus, detail, and stabilization? Is OPPO's reported telephoto glare or excessive softness a genuine concern?
3. Image processing: I really like OPPO's softer, natural Master Mode look. Can Vivo achieve something similar by adjusting sharpening and color settings? Does OPPO sometimes sacrifice too much detail or produce genuinely blurry images?
4. Video quality: This is probably my biggest deciding factor. I want to shoot more street and travel videos for social media, without the artificial, oversharpened smartphone look. Which produces more natural footage straight out of the camera? How do stabilization and low-light video compare across the main and telephoto lenses?
5. Video features: How do their filters, film styles, LOG recording, and LUT support compare? Are filters available at 4K/60 or 4K/120? Can I get good results directly from the phone without extensive editing?
6. Camera reliability: How does OPPO handle moving subjects, animals, and birds? Are its autofocus issues, lens fogging, or telephoto softness widespread? Which has the better selfie camera?
7. Software experience: I'll be buying the Chinese version. Which OS is smoother, better animated, more customizable, and less buggy? I loved Pixel UI but never really enjoyed One UI. How well do Google services, Wallet, Maps, notifications, and international apps work on both? Are AI features usable in English?
8. Battery, thermals, and connectivity: Which handles prolonged camera use better without overheating or lagging? Is OPPO's battery advantage noticeable? Any meaningful differences in network reception?
9. Long-term ownership: Which brand has a better track record for updates, bug fixes, and bringing new features to older devices? How is the build quality, particularly OPPO's leather-backed version?
10. Editing and customization: Which offers better native photo/video editing tools and camera controls for sharpness, contrast, and color? Are third-party apps necessary?
I know that's a lot of questions, and I don't expect anyone to answer everything. I'd especially appreciate firsthand experiences from people who've used either phone, particularly for video, image processing, and software.
I'm currently leaning toward OPPO for its natural-looking images, focal lengths, and ColorOS, but Vivo's camera capabilities and customization options are tempting.
If you had to choose one, which would you buy and why?
Thanks in advance!

Has anyone switched from iPhone to an Oppo Flagship (x9 or x10 Series) and can tell us the experience? The good and the bad

Like what even is this...?
At 8 p.m. I have been getting these messages for 2 days. It started randomly, the only thing is I talked about getting a job and stuff like that and suddenly this bs keeps appearing every 1-3min. I don't wanna block/revoke the message authority of the apps though, anybody got ideas?
Can anyone confirm if ColorOS 17 has the double tap on the back of the phone for a function? Every other phone has it, including the iPhone, surprisingly, but not on the Oppo?
Hi everyone, I've been looking for a way to tweak certain parameters in oppo camera app specially in video where it's often too overly bright and over exposed and also reduce the AI influence in other places.
We have tools like REA on github that can be used to reverse engineer almost anything and patch apps. I'm wondering if any good Samaritans with technical skills can create a modded oppo camera app so it allows us to tweak certain things according to our liking and also unlock features that Oppo gate keeps for newer phones.
I've Find X9 Pro and I assume going forward the gap will just widen further

10 Pro max costs even more expensive than x9 Ultra, why the fuck they would do that? And these are HK versions, what the hell is gonna happen in the EU...
