Online Masters Credits
Looking for graduate level courses that give letter grades. I already have my masters, I am working towards my +30 credits. Does anyone have a recommendation?

I've been building StudyKernel, a site for studying IT certs through reading lessons and quizzes. A+, Security+ and Azure Fundamentals are on there.
The lessons break topics into short sections, with questions and answer explanations along the way. All the lessons and lesson quizzes are free. There's an optional paid plan for extra practice.
If you try a lesson and an explanation doesn't make sense, let me know which one. I'm still improving them.

So yeah , I’m currently doing my BSN and I wonder if there’s any class that is “ okay “ to take online on my CC ? So that way I could save some time.

I have been noticing a lot about the self paced courses and how the students think about them.
Some people are able to move quick with the material, but for some it does take time, because there is lack of proper schedule?
Majorly problems are around procrastination, that's what majorly that student faces when it comes to self paced learning courses.
For those who have taken the self paced courses, what's something that has worked for your and something that didn't ?

Recently there has been talk about Unlox Academy, an Indian start-up, wanting to rival Coursera by offering career-focused learning over mere lecture-based courses.
In your own words, do you think home-grown platforms have a better chance at competing with MNCs in this field?

Backstory - I'm 36. this is my fifth attempt at college. I've failed out of four different colleges in three different states. I'm currently about halfway through my AA in Social Services, with a concentration in Social Work. I have a 3.76 GPA, so clearly I'm doing something right this time.
Originally, my intention was to finish my associates, because getting to walk across that stage would feel like such an accomplishment, given my past. But now that I'm getting towards the end of my coursework, I don't think it's going to happen. Most of the classes I have left are clinical type courses, and the department doesn't seem to have any guidance or resources for students with full time jobs.
I started looking into BSW programs, and it looks like the two most popular fully online programs are through ASU and UMASS Global. After what I can see on the websites, I think I'm leaning towards UMASS (I live in MA, so it does make me feel a little better knowing that it is local if I ever had any issues, and it seems like their program is really geared towards people who have to work their in-person hours around other things). I'd love to hear any input people might have on either school!

I came across youviewtraining.com and I'm trying to work out whether it's legitimate before spending anything, even though the prices are low ($19 per certified course, $59 for a 12-course "pathway").
What's making me cautious:
What I'd genuinely like to know from anyone who has enrolled:
- What does the actual course content look like? Video, PDF, quizzes? Roughly how many hours of real material?
- Is there any assessment, or does completion just require clicking through?
- Is the "tutor support" real? Did anyone actually respond?
- Has any employer, licensing body, or university ever accepted the certificate?
- Did you get charged anything beyond the advertised price, for example for the certificate itself, verification, or a membership you didn't intend?
- Any trouble cancelling a membership or getting a refund?
To be clear, I'm not looking for academic credit. I'm assessing whether a certificate from here carries any weight on a CV, or whether it's the kind of credential that actively hurts you with a recruiter who recognizes the source.
If you've used them, good or bad, I'd really appreciate the detail. And if there's a better-value alternative in the same price range with real recognition, I'm open to suggestions.

Are there any B.Ed colleges (long distance) in Guwahati.
(it'll be a great help if anyone commenting here went for B.Ed long distance)

Can anyone suggest an online marine biology course? I'd like it to be about biodiversity, phytoplanktons, sea creatures, but I'm open to explore other topics as well

I keep seeing this tuition-free degree thing pop up while I’m researching online schools, and I don’t really get it. Like… if a university isn’t charging tuition, how is it funded? And more importantly, does the degree actually hold any weight, or is it one of those things that sounds great until you try to use it and apply to jobs?
I came across University of the People specifically, and it looks legit on the surface, but my brain keeps going “okay, but what’s the catch?”
So is that actually a thing, and is it legit? I just don’t want to commit to something like this and then realize later there’s a catch, whether that’s hidden costs, issues finishing the degree, or it not really helping when it comes to jobs.

Hi everyone,
I graduated 3–4 years ago with a bachelor’s in Applied Math and currently work full-time (hybrid with flexible hours). I’ve always been fascinated by cognition and the brain and am considering going back to university for a master’s degree in this field.
Before making a full commitment, I want to test the waters with a structured, official online class to see how I handle balancing coursework again.
**My Background & What I’ve Covered:**
\* Education/Work: Bachelor’s in Applied Math, working in IT.
\* Self-Study: Robert Sapolsky’s Human Behavioral Biology lectures (YouTube) and Behave, plus parts of Gazzaniga’s Cognitive Neuroscience.
**What I’m Looking For:**
\* Format: Official, structured online courses (single classes, continuing education modules, or short certificate programs—not just self-paced without structure).
\* Schedule/Timezone: Preferably compatible with EU time zones, manageable alongside full-time work.
\* Focus Area: Cognitive Science, Cognitive Neuroscience, or related interdisciplinary topics. Will also appreachiate if you have more specific suggestions on topics.
Does anyone have recommendations for specific universities, programs, or courses that fit this setup? Any advice from people who took a similar transition from a math/STEM background into cogsci would also be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Because of circumstances in life I need to have an online college program. I tried WGU and did not enjoy my time there. Which other online schools are good and reasonably priced for a tech bachelor's degree?

I want to be a writer but I suck at punctuation and have a disability meaning sometimes I’m confused by things. currently trying to find the right book to teach me punctuation mainly commas but think it may be a loosing game but I realized a direct class might help I know I can try to go back to community college in English but not sure if they will really break things down for me. I am thinking more a small online class or coach. I cant afford an editor but think depending on the class I can afford classes sometimes does anyone know any good classes for me?

Hey. I’m having the absolute worse time finding anywhere that offers an online English comp 1 pre-req that isn’t $2000+ or doesn’t need pre-reqs to begin..
Anything I do cannot be self-paced. It has to be a semester I attend due to my court requirements.
So does anyone know any universities that offer English comp 1 ?? That’s the only one I need and I cannot find it anywhere. I’ve searched for 15 days now and nothing. Idk why.

Hey there everyone, I often come across posts where people are seeking valuable online programs/ courses and I’ve been the same so wanted to share that I recently completed McKinsey.org Forward and genuinely enjoyed it, so thought I’d share it here in case it’s useful to someone else also!
It’s a free online program around practical skills like communication, problem-solving, adaptability, resilience, teamwork, and career development. I found it especially useful for building confidence and thinking a little more intentionally about work/career. But even in general these practical skills (problem solving especially) can be applied in every sphere of life!
The next applications are open all through September but the earlier you apply the better you have a chance at getting accepted!
You can check it out here: www.mckinsey.org/forward
You can also use a referral code 26AA362732 mentioning jn the form!
Just sharing because I found the program worthwhile and figured someone here might benefit from it too!

Hi! I’m looking for an online Diploma in Teaching (DIT) program.
I found National Teachers College and I’d like to ask if this school and their online DIT program are legitimate/recognized.
Has anyone here studied there or has experience with their online program?
Thank you!
