I really like this cast iron. I cook onions ot it so much i wonder if the flavours infuse?? If it does itd be wonderful

I dyed the onions red while caramelizing them, then added some black food coloring to my Gruyère. Was hoping for Halloween themed intestine rolls, and got bloodworm swirls instead.

My local grocery store (Netto in Denmark) has onions on offer from Saturday onwards. It's the equivalent of less than 1 €/kg. The biggest question is, what to cook (other than stupid amounts of caramelized onions)?

Second is what was leftover so chucked them around with lime, olive oil, chilli flakes and mustard seeds.

I went a little heavy on the batter because I made too much batter

I just did a giant onion, some "melt", some olive oil, and black pepper. Then smoked for 3 hours or so. Taste amazing but is there a standard way?

Guess what I'm making for dinner

Saw someone post pickled onions earlier. Hit the store. Did my own twist with spog. Added some crushed peppers and cyanne for some heat.(didn’t have peppers or the foresight) came home and grilled adding onions to everything. 💪🏼. Any tips are appreciated!
