My cat always did this. It's normal unless this is happening outside of cuddle time. What a goober!!! Give them lots of pets for me.

A friend of mine growing up had a black cat that always drooled when she was on your lap. They kinda shunned her and didn't really give her as much love as the other animals they had.

So whenever I would go over, I would make sure to always accept her sitting on my chest or lap just to show her she was loved. It wasnt had to keep a dry washcloth arous to clean up any drool, id simply lay it under her mouth. She was my favorite pet of theirs cause she was so sweet and just wanted love.

I had a black cat who would drool also, and had a thing for toenails. Not feet, not toes, only the nails. She'd would just rub her little drooly face all over them when I sat on the edge of the porch to trim them.
