Centered around diving, protection, fishing, and production, the Isles of Abyss offers a variety of ocean tech. Preparing gear and dishes based on your destination will help you handle different environments.
Diving Gear for Exploring the Abyssal Sea
Before diving, you can wear the Basic Diving Suit to gain basic resistance to ocean contamination; apply Fish Oil Paste to increase temperature resistance and temporarily isolate yourself from water contamination. The further unlocked Shark Diving Suit provides stronger ocean contamination protection and increases swimming speed.
During deep dives, the Oxygen Tank will automatically activate when oxygen runs out to replenish it; if you encounter danger, you can also use the consumable Inflatable Float to quickly ascend. When you need a temporary foothold on the water's surface, throw an Air Cushion to create a short-lived floating pad. Against underwater enemies, you can also use the Spear Gun to fight.
Special items for dealing with Haywire Zones
Facing the environmental threats of different archipelagos, you can prepare corresponding protective items and dishes:
Mist of Deceit: Mist Core Clarity Soup increases Cold Resist and provides the effect of seeing through the Mist of Deceit; after activating the Blaze Core Lantern, it raises temperature and disperses the Mist of Deceit, while continuously consuming Durability.
Black Tide: After activating the Black Tide Protective Mask, it slows Sanity loss within Black Tide areas, while continuously consuming Durability.
Time Rain: Time-Reverse Cookies grant immunity to Time Rain's effects on the body for a period of time, preventing Energy and Hydration from dropping rapidly; wearing the Time-Reverse Raincoat grants immunity to Time Rain's effects, but slightly reduces Movement Speed and continuously consumes Durability.
High Heat & Temperature Difference: Activating the Cooling Patch removes the Heatstroke status, continuously lowers Body Temperature, and consumes Durability. All-Weather Stew increases both cold and heat resistance.
From sailing and fishing to offshore production
Once a Trawl Net is equipped, your ship has a chance to capture fish while sailing on the surface. The Advanced Trawl further increases your haul and salvages surface supplies. Pair it with an Abundant Fishing Talisman to further boost the efficiency of trawl net fishing.
If you want to breed fish steadily, you can use the Tidal Cage in the water. The Advanced Tidal Cage has a shorter breeding cycle. The ocean also holds energy for production—the Drilling Well can be used to obtain abyssal sea oil.
As you unlock related Tech, you can also gradually begin automatic mining of special resources. Black Tide Fuel can be used for the Generator and Fuel Propeller, raising the Generator's Electricity cap and the Propeller's speed cap, letting ocean resources further serve production and sailing.
Prepare specialty dishes for long sails
Ocean ingredients can be crafted into dishes with different effects.
Fresh Fish Dishes: While restoring Energy, they reduce Energy and Hydration consumption while swimming;
Stealth Cuttlefish Sashimi: Shrinks the range at which underwater enemies lock onto you;
Silky Fish Oil Soup: Reduces consumption while swimming.
You can also choose different beverages based on your action plan:
Old Captain's Spirit: Restores Hydration and Sanity, reduces DMG taken, but causes severe drunken vision swaying;
Drunken Sprint: Restores Hydration and Sanity, and grants a Sprint Speed Bonus when hit;
Heavenly Calm Soup: When crafting, the more seafood you deposit, the higher the Sanity recovery and pollution resistance it provides.
Repair and Help Facilities
After long sails and combat, you can use the Time-Reverse Welding Torch to restore the durability of buildings and facilities. Once the territory repair facility is activated, it will continuously repair all damaged material and facilities; Territory protection can protect your territory and withstand attacks for a period of time. When a character is near death, crawling nearby a revive station will automatically help them up.
VI. Scenario Gameplay
Beachcombing
Search along the coast for sand holes, small bubbling holes in shallow waters, and glimmering crevices between reefs. Approach and interact to collect supplies left behind by the tide. Some small creatures will retreat into their holes or crawl out and flee after interaction; while beachcombing, also watch out for pinches, cuts, and other accidents.
Drift bottles by the sea may contain treasure maps, books, ship blueprints, or drifting letters, making a seaside stroll the starting point of a new adventure. Some beachcombing finds can also be sold to merchants in exchange for batteries.
Underwater Exploration and Treasure Hunt
Containers, ruins, and glowing floating algae on the sea surface may point to shipwrecks, sunken buildings, coral mineral clusters, or underwater laboratories. You can also obtain treasure maps by beachcombing, fishing, accepting tasks, and exploring settlements, then follow the guidance to underwater ruins to find treasure.
Start from shallow-sea shipwrecks, gradually improve your gear and supply, then set out toward deep-sea ruins. Deeper waters mean higher contamination and more dangerous creatures. Before diving, please prepare protection and keep an eye on your oxygen reserve.
Underwater laboratories are important destinations for deep-sea exploration. Leaks have attracted algae and Jellyfish to gather, and the glowing floating algae on the sea surface are the clue. When traversing ruins and searching for supplies, observing surrounding creatures and planning oxygen replenishment and return routes are key to safely bringing back your findings.
Abyssal Sea Fishing
Equip the Abyssal Sea Fishing Rod and cast the hook into waters for a chance to catch large fish such as Shark and Tuna. This gameplay follows the familiar fishing process, and dedicated landing point prompts can help you identify the waters. Whether you have entered abyssal sea fishing is determined by where the hook lands.
Using b Basic fishing rod only allows you to catch ordinary sea fish; the Abyssal Sea Fishing Rod may also catch ordinary fish. After successfully catching a big fish, you can enjoy the catch display as it leaps out of the water, then put the fish into your backpack for dish preparation and processing.
Voyagers
During your voyage, you will encounter Voyagers of varying sizes and configurations across the seas. Pilot your ship into battle against them, destroy their key facilities, board their decks, and delve into their holds to seize treasure, experiencing a variety of naval encounters. Each Voyager possesses unique traits—enhanced firepower, diverse crew, and naval mine blockades.
As the sail progresses, the overall strength of Voyagers will continue to increase. Captains, please prepare in advance.
After Phase II, larger Voyager Fleets will appear in the seas. Giant Voyagers will lead multiple Voyager fanboats on patrol across the waters, and you may also face surprise raids from Voyagers during combat, making the battlefield complex and ever-changing.
Calamity Tower
From solo challenges that progress with the main story, to team battles, and then to the abyss challenge in Phase II, the Calamity Tower will progressively test your ship cannon handling, ship maneuvering, and cooperate skills. Completing challenges in the main story will advance the unlock of corresponding gear craft.
Combat revolves around tentacles and weakspots: clear outer threats and seize the moment when weakspots are exposed to focus fire. Different tentacles will block areas, summon reinforcements, or provide healing and DMG sharing; handling support objectives in time and assigning firepower is the key to a team's breach. Some tentacles are protected by building protection, and the destructive power of ship cannons will come into play here.
In Phase II, after completing the prerequisite challenges, you can venture deeper into Calamity Tower: Abyss. As difficulty increases, tentacle abilities stack and intensify, cores launch active attacks, and Voyager reinforcements join the battlefield. Waves, heavy fog, Icebergs, and water tornadoes will also affect your route. Find windows of opportunity to attack while dodging dangers, and breach the defenses together with your companions.
Calamity Nest
Upon landing on the archipelago, you will also face the land stronghold challenge of Calamity Nest. The Calamity Owl lurking within will summon enemies with its song, applying constant pressure with sound waves and area attacks. You can fight solo or team up with companions, balancing between clearing enemies and attacking the alpha.
The "Revenge" mechanic in combat will test your team's coordination: the marked Meta becomes the enemy's pursuit target while also gaining a key opportunity to attack the alpha. Work together with your companion, protect the marked teammate, and create openings for a joint assault.
Some difficulty challenges will extend from the ground into the air. Pick up fallen feathers to gain a brief lift-off ability, touch the floating energy orbs to counter the Calamity Owl, and seize an advantage for the battles ahead. As difficulty increases, summoned enemies and skill combinations will bring even greater pressure.
Sea Calamity Zone
In Phase II's waters, a Calamity Zone will appear. The central Calamity Hatchling is surrounded by deviated turrets, naval mines, and enemies, testing ship configuration and naval combat capabilities.
Use ship cannons to blast open buildings, detonate naval mines early to clear routes, or destroy turret support structures to break their firepower. Then destroy the shield core in the outer buildings to remove the central shield, and defeat the Calamity Hatchling for rewards. Defense lines of different sizes and layouts will provide different assault experiences.
The Sunken Lord
When the server's purification progress reaches 100%, the Sunken Lord's entrance platform will rise from underwater. Metas must work together to defeat the Calamity Hatchling in the entrance area, complete the door battle, then team up to go deeper and challenge the Sunken Lord's Core.
Advance through corridors and multi-layered platforms, break through enemies and tentacles that support each other, and finally face the ever-changing core. From tentacle sieges and arrayed barrage to violent smashes with a battered hull, the spreading lava will also compress safe space. Coordinate with companions to find openings amid alternating assaults.
Drifting Greenhouse
In Phase II's waters, drifting greenhouses will appear on specific islands. After Metas approach the island, the drifting greenhouse will summon poison pools while flying up from them. Players need to weave through the poison pools to dodge and defeat the greenhouse.
After defeating the greenhouse, in addition to dropping rewards, deviated plants will refresh on the field. Players can gather these plants to obtain bonus rewards.
VII. Scenario System Description
Driving growth through Tech
Isles of Abyss centers on survival exploration and Tech development. After entering the scenario, characters start at max level. You will advance Tech by exploring the archipelago, collecting resources, and completing key challenges, gradually unlocking higher rarity gear crafting, ocean facilities, and survival methods. The Cradle system is not available in this scenario.
Tech and resources will together determine your development progress. In the early game, establishing supply lines, adapting to the environment, and building a seaworthy vessel are key to gaining a foothold; as your tech advances, you can refine your production system, upgrade your ship and personal gear, and prepare for the challenges of deeper waters.
Blueprints and Mods Grow Stronger with Tech
Your existing Blueprints and Mods can be brought into the scenario as normal. The craftable rarity of gear is limited by your Tech progress, and the number of active Mod attributes will gradually unlock with Tech level. As you explore deeper, familiar gear loadouts will gradually reach their full potential, combining with the archipelago's survival resources, dishes, ammo, and combat Items to form a combat style that suits you.
From Resource Production to Ship Evolution
Improving resource Gathering and Processing efficiency and establishing a stable Supply cycle are the shared foundation for evolving both personal Gear and your ship. Archipelago exploration provides basic supplies, while challenges such as the Voyager and Calamity Tower offer advanced rewards; as your production capabilities mature, you can gradually refine your combat loadout and shift toward sustained challenges and long-term collection.
Heart of the Ocean
The Heart of the Ocean is an exclusive advanced resource of the Isles of Abyss. Complete scenario challenges and journey objectives, explore loot crates and treasures, or participate in gameplays such as fighting Voyagers for a chance to obtain it. Its primary use is to open challenge rewards, channeling your exploration gains into Mod and other collections.

II. Story and Core Characters
On the Isles of Abyss, it's not just ships that sink into the sea, but also unfinished promises, guilt, and waiting. The Voyager wanders the surface, the Calamity Tower looms and encircles, and the Sunken Lord draws power from trapped memories and emotions.
A shipwreck brings you to these waters. Following nautical journals, ship artifacts, and lost deep-sea memories, you will gradually uncover the connections between them.
Malla rescued you from the sea. She is an experienced captain who can use "communion with the deep" to sense the pasts of the drowned and guide voyages. But even for her, there is something she has never been able to find.
Ran is sharp and straightforward. She will investigate clues with you, seek ways to deal with environmental threats, and cross-verify with Malla's perceptions. The "debt" she speaks of, as well as the old bond between the two, will gradually come to light.
As the truth is revealed, Malla will call the Metas to assemble, while Ran joins frontline support as they face the abyssal sea together. When the sea retains all indelible feelings and memories, can the people within it still set sail again?
III. Introduction to the Archipelago World
Archipelago Terrain and Survival Environment
The Isles of Abyss is a rich oceanic archipelago spanning from tropical coconut groves to cold tundra. Different islands have their own unique ecologies and cultural landscapes, telling the memories of Nalcott swallowed by the sea and lost civilizations; beneath the waves, schools of fish swim among ruins and coral gardens, while predators lurk in the shadows, ready to strike at any moment; under the archipelago's magnificent weather lie hidden anomalies. These areas affected by strange phenomena are called "Haywire Zones".
In Haywire Zones, phenomena such as the Mist of Deceit, Black Tide, Time Rain, and Skyfire will change the local exploration rules: they bring survival pressure in terms of view, temperature, sanity, and supply consumption, and also produce corresponding special resources. Before entering these areas, Metas are advised to prepare protective items, dishes, and supplies in advance according to the environment type.
Fragrant Cape
This is the starting point for Metas embarking on their journey to the Isles of Abyss. Among flowerfields, coconut groves, and rocky shallows lie scattered city ruins and grounded shipwrecks.
You can gather basic supplies along the coast and search for materials in abandoned ships to prepare for your voyage.
Reefshadow Bay and Mist of Deceit
Reefshadow Bay is located at the northwestern end of the archipelago, near the cold northern continent. It consists of cold tundra, reef cliffs, and floating ice, with bones, coral, and mining ruins scattered throughout.
Mist of Deceit is a unique weather phenomenon in Reefshadow Bay. It lowers the environment temperature and limits visibility; the lower your HP, the smaller your field of view. maintaining a larger field of view in the Mist of Deceit will help you earn greater exploration rewards.
Gathering Mist Core Grass yields Mist of Deceit Wicks, which are used for cannonballs and electricity facilities. Keep an eye out while exploring settlements—you may find special items to deal with the Mist of Deceit.
Misty Marsh and Black Tide
Giant trees, toxic marshes, fungi, and rotting wood make up the dense forest environment of Misty Marsh. Sunken ship caves and a trade zone built among the trees provide vertical exploration space. The giant trees here cannot be chopped down, but their trunks and canopies contain gatherable resources.
The Black Tide brings ever-deepening Stardust contamination to Misty Marsh, but also brings Stardust Ore and contaminated plants. Pollution Zones such as Wild, Phantasmal, and Mirror will also appear in special locations.
You can gather Black Tide Clots from the black water nearby Sporocysts, which are used for diving Items and water circulation facilities, but gathering consumes Sanity. Maintaining higher sanity allows you to obtain more clots.
Spring Valley and Time Rain
Mangroves, swamps, and waterfalls interweave to form the hot and humid coast of Spring Valley. Sea arches, whirlpool caves, and skeletal Wonders are scattered throughout, and giant crocodiles will also appear here, posing an additional threat.
When Time Rain occurs, it accelerates Energy and Hydration consumption and causes items and gear in your backpack to continuously lose durability; at the same time, it also accelerates the growth of crops and animals in the wild and in your territory.
Defeating enemies and gathering crops In the rain yields Bottled Raindrops, which are used for water-based production as well as farming and breeding facility. Managing your supply well also lets you use Time Rain to gain faster production returns.
Falling Ember and Skyfire
An active volcano sitting in the middle of the ocean, lava, black sand, and basalt form the high-temperature archipelago of Falling Ember, with hot springs and sulfur scattered throughout.
When Skyfire descends, meteors will deal damage to nearby Metas and buildings, causing the surrounding area to continuously heat up; larger meteors will also spawn Deviant enemies that guard them.
Mining meteors yields Skyfire Gold and rare minerals, used for crafting alloy ship structures, automated gathering facilities, and more. The larger the meteor, the harder the mining, and the surrounding temperature returns to normal once mining is complete.
As the scenario phase progresses, Haywire Zones will also change. Small islands between the main islands provide space for docking, supply, gathering, and temporary preparation.
Archipelago Ecology and New Resources
New Marine Creatures
Various new marine creatures inhabit the waters of the Isles of Abyss. Learning their habits can help you hunt, avoid danger, and assist with swimming and long voyages.
Giant Squid
Giant Squid will use their tentacles to firmly latch onto ships, rendering them immobile. When attacked, focus your fire to sever their tentacles; once the tentacles are severed, the Giant Squid will flee.
Shark
Sharks will continuously track their objective and launch intermittent attacks. Once targeted, you need to quickly decide whether to face this hunter or find a way to escape.
Tuna
Tuna prefer to stay near the surface and occasionally leap out of the water. The moment they leap is the perfect opportunity to strike and hunt them, so keep an eye on the water's surface while sailing.
Jellyfish
The vibrant Jellyfish will intermittently discharge electricity. Approaching carelessly or swimming through them may result in electric shock, so please keep your distance while swimming.
Anglerfish
The Anglerfish that dwells in the depths has a glowing lure hanging above its head. Units that approach it gain safe haven from sea water contamination. When exploring contaminated waters, this faint glimmer may be of help to you.
Bubble Fish
The gentle-natured Bubble Fish continuously spits out bubbles. When diving underwater, absorbing these bubbles replenishes oxygen, providing supply for sea exploration.
New Animals
In Isles of Abyss, a new gameplay feature has been added for capturing and breeding the Bay Crocodile. You can use the Tranquilizer Throwing Needle to capture Bay Crocodiles and bring them back to your territory to raise and breed.
The Bay Crocodile is massive and cannot jump, but it can be released and mounted on the water's surface. While mounted, the Bay Crocodile provides DMG Reduction to both the rider and itself. In water, its own DMG Reduction is greatly increased. After using its mount skill, both itself and the rider gain a DMG backlash effect.
New Resources
In addition to marine life, the coast and archipelago will also produce a variety of new resources to support dish preparation, production, and gear crafting.
Resources
Main Uses
Barnacle, Crab, Lobster
Prepare seafood dishes
Oyster
When opened, there is a chance to obtain Shells, Conches, Shellfish Meat, Seaweed, and Pearls
Starfish, Sea Urchin
Prepare Dishes or Detoxident. Be careful of puncture wounds when Gathering Sea Urchins
Abalone
Prepare Dishes or Adhesive
Shell, Conch

Sulfur Water
Obtained by gathering hot spring water; can be used to refine sulfur
Bay Crocodile Skin
Obtained by hunting Bay Crocodiles, used for crafting gear
Tidal Gum, Tidal Fruit
Harvested from the trunk and canopy of the giant tree respectively, used for rubber processing and dishes
Gathering by the shore, tidal foraging, and catching Tidal Creatures all yield different ingredients and Materials. Catching Tidal Creatures also gives you a chance to obtain Coral Ore, Pirate Coins, and other rewards. Keep an eye on the small creatures along the coast to make your Journey's Supply more abundant.
IV. Ship Building and Handling Experience
Free Ship Building
Ships are one of the most important survival tools in the Isles of Abyss. They serve as both sailing vehicles and movable water territory.
When using for the first time, you can build a new water vessel in Build Mode. Once you own a ship, you can use the Relocation feature in Build Mode, or use the summon vehicle shortcut key to quickly place an existing ship.
From the hull outline to the deck layout, you can freely design your own ship.
Rich hull components to assemble your own ship type
Ship building offers dedicated components such as hull, gunwale, bow, deck, handrails, and bulwark. By combining square, triangular, sloped, and curved structures, you can adjust the hull outline, divide onboard spaces, and build ships of different styles.
Small-sized hull, deck, gunwale, and Pillars of different heights make it more flexible to assemble the bow, stern, and certain spaces; Wood, iron, steel, and alloy materials provide different cosmetics options.
Save ship designs for more convenient building
The water platform design layout has an independent save entry. You can select structures or facilities connected to the core deck, Save the ship design, and preview and place it through the design layout. The build Interface will prioritize showing the category corresponding to the current territory, along with a clearer territory range display, making it easier to find the components you need and plan your building space.
The snapping rules for the hull and facilities will also be optimized to reduce components snapping to inappropriate positions.
Ship Sailing Experience
From manual power and sail power to fuel power and electric drive, the Isles of Abyss offers ship propulsion systems at different tiers, giving you more choices for your voyage. You can also equip special piloting facilities such as Boosters and side-thruster steering gear to enhance your ship's mobility, making sailing and turning more flexible.
During your voyage, you can mark your route and enable Auto Cruise, letting your ship automatically navigate along the marked route to your destination. Underwater teleport, cross-world return to ship, and on-board respawn will also be available simultaneously, making the transition between exploring at sea and returning to your ship for resupply smoother than ever.
Equip Ship Cannons to handle different naval battles
As Tech advances, more firing methods and functional Ship Cannons will gradually unlock, bringing different operational rhythms and tactical choices to naval battles. You can equip different Ship Cannons and attack Facilities based on your objective's characteristics.
Harpoon Cannon: Projectiles fly and Load quickly, can penetrate the water surface, and are effective against marine creatures. Available in basic and elite levels.
Long Cannon: A traditional ship-mounted Artillery that deals Additional DMG to decks and other buildings. Available in Basic and Elite Levels.
Rapid-fire Cannon: Compared to the Long Cannon, it has slightly lower damage per shot, but shorter firing intervals and faster projectile speed, making it easier to aim at the weakspots of the Calamity Tower. Available in basic and elite levels.
Repeating Long Cannon: Fires projectiles continuously, providing a sustained firing experience.
Shotgun Turret: Fires multiple projectiles in a volley to create a larger attack coverage area, effective against enemy ships and patrol boats. Available in basic and elite levels.
Frost Cannon: Slows down enemies that are Hit, making it easier to pursue them.
Corrosion Cannon: Increases the damage enemies receive, creating opportunities for follow-up attacks.
During Phase II of the scenario, the following Ship Cannons can also be obtained:
Rocket Launcher: An artillery that fires multiple small projectiles in a burst, providing considerable sustained output.
Oil Drum Launcher: A device that launches oil drums. Upon hitting the target, it causes a massive explosion and ignites the region.
Repeating Shotgun Turret: A triple burst shotgun turret facility that deals extremely high damage to Voyagers.
Freezing Cannon: A long cannon that fires ice shells. Enemies hit will be frozen, creating opportunities for follow-up attacks.
Among the above Ship Cannons, those with projectile drop are equipped with a pre-aim line to help you aim at targets more effectively.
Additionally, you can choose the "Ram" for close-range ramming or use the Naval Mine Launcher to set Traps. While sailing, you can switch Ship Cannons via the Wheel to select attack methods based on enemy actions, engagement distance, and hit difficulty, allowing your ship to serve different combat roles.
VIII. New Enemies, Deviations, Mods, and Cosmetics Collection
[New Enemies]
Rosetta: Abyssal Iron Guard
A Deviant variant of Rosetta after contamination, its head is covered by a diving helmet, forming a steam force field around itself. Allies within the force field continuously gain a shield. Metas encountering them should kill them first to greatly reduce combat pressure.
Vulture: Drowning Light Apostle
After being contaminated by Stardust, Vultures exhibit different characteristics. Their heads are replaced by lamps, and when they detect a hostile target, the lamp changes color. At this point, the damage dealt and received by the Vulture unit both increase. Metas can trigger hostility and then quickly kill them.
Deviant: Abyssal Sea Kins
Deviants are parasitized by barnacle tentacle-like organisms, which give them different characteristics. When killing them, the barnacles on their bodies explode and attach to nearby Deviant units, restoring their HP. Metas need to lure them apart and kill them one by one when encountering them.
The following Deviations have been added:

X. Isles of Abyss: RaidZone
With the launch of the Isles of Abyss, Once Human RaidZone will also open the core area and main game modes of Isles of Abyss: RaidZone, including:
Naval Core Contest
You will engage in PvP combat within the enclosed Isles of Abyss. There are no separate worlds in the RaidZone; all players will compete in the same waters. Resources are scarcer, encounters are more frequent, and combat pacing will be more intense.
Here, how you choose your route, when to contest resources, and whether to engage in combat will all affect your survival and development. Combine your combat skills, ship configuration, and situational judgment to find your own way to survive.
Island Survival
Isles of Abyss: RaidZone retains the complex terrain structures and diverse island ecosystems of the Isles of Abyss. After entering the scenario, you need to explore the map as quickly as possible, collect resources, and complete basic armament before you are firmly established.
Establishing supply lines faster and mastering the distribution of surrounding resources earlier will help you gain the upper hand in subsequent confrontations.
Water Territory Construction
Naval combat revolves around ships. Constantly monitoring your ship's HP is the key to victory.
After expanding and upgrading your ship, you can save blueprints at the anchor to increase the ship's total HP.
Attacking other players' ships will reduce their total HP. When a ship's total HP reaches 0, the ship will sink.
If your ship sinks, you can place a previously saved ship blueprint to summon it again; if no ship Blueprint was saved, the ship will be summoned in its initial state. Supplies aboard a sunken ship will not be refunded, so please plan your carried resources wisely before setting sail and engaging in combat.
*Note: [Isles of Abyss: RaidZone] requires switching to [RaidZone] Mode in the upper-left corner of the Character sign in page, and selecting the [Isles of Abyss: RaidZone] Server to Enter.
Conclusion
In these waters, there are archipelagoes waiting to be discovered, ships to build with your own hands, treasures hidden in the abyssal sea, and unknown threats closing in. On October 21(PT), we look forward to setting sail with all Metas, heading toward this brand-new ocean survival world.
*This article is a pre-launch content preview. Some gameplay details, values, and rewards are still being adjusted. Please refer to the official launch version and subsequent announcements.
As we get more and more videos, I'm a little worried that the boats are only going to be like 3 width, 10 length max and like four height; it'd be a shame if it's jsut
Thank you for your continued support of Once Human.
We are reaching out to players who are interested in or have experience with Mod Development. If you have created mods before, are currently learning, or would like to participate in future mod-related discussions, we sincerely invite you to fill out this short survey.
If I could get some answers that’d be great as most the info I can find is outdated and am struggling to find updated info. Im a new player starting on manibus novice, currently level 24, with a base load capacity of 100, I have 4 satchels raising it to 120. Is this normal for early game? Seems like a small amount compared to some of the other peoples stats but maybe those were done through old methods..?
I sit around ~30-40kg of load capacity after clearing out my bag and leaving the essential items for survival/gathering. My water/food load is about 8kg total(40 boiled & 20 roasted), about .8 for all the recycling tools (a mix of regular and two advanced), A solar drill, fishing rod, ~2000 copper ammo, and a thermos/sports water bottle. I do have a few extra consumables but those in total weight like 2-4kg. And my materials/special/construction tabs are either empty or the items have no weight to them. I only carry my main weapons and maybe one back up melee. Am I missing something that also weighs a lot or is the base load normally around 30-40kg?
My character weight is 80kg so I know I’m not receiving any penalties/buffs to weight and movement speed. Is it worth trying to be overweight for the extra 10kgs? I often find myself sprinting through compounds, even though I’m under the recommended level, looking for facilities to grind tech points, gear/weapon/supply boxes, and the mystical crates so I feel not having those penalties/buffs is more helpful but maybe I’m wrong?
I do utilize the bicycle to jump/move around when overweight and trying to finish a compound, and typically fast travel back home once it’s cleared unless I can still run freely then I go to another compound.
Should I prioritize getting the backpack expansion or should I prioritize getting tungsten unlocked for higher tier weapon crafting? They both will cost ~1700 tech points each to unlock.
-Not related to load capacity- is the securement pod cap now at 10? I saw somewhere that it was 20. Not sure if that’s true.. but if it is how do I increase that?
Missing Phantom cubes in game CS won't help, not sure what to do I had two keyword effect skins, I took a break came back and now I have 0 and now I'm missing the two effects and I didn't get any phantom cubes back or the keyword effects back and I'm being told I'm not supposed to get anything back due to patches.. I don't think that sounds right? is there anything I can do or do I just assume I get a penalty for playing early? I'm 170 with only 3 phantom cubes and no keyword effect changes.
The Isles of Abyss has the ingredients for a different kind of horror: an open ocean where exploration itself becomes a psychological threat.
I want islands that move when nobody is watching. Shipwrecks that transmit distress calls from decades ago. Flowers that bloom in the middle of a storm. And a mysterious woman who warns us not to trust anything the ocean gives back.
Most of all, I want the story of Squad 417 to end with a choice that has no clean answer.
If the sea returns someone you lost, and that person remembers every moment you shared, do you call them a monster?
Or do you bring them home?
The sea returns what it takes. The question is whether what comes back is still human.
