I am in search of an old free newspaper vending box. Does any one know where I could get one? Thanks!

I’ve been getting quotes to have my panel upgraded and to also have power to my garage for an EV charger. The problem is that I’m getting very inconsistent information on what’s needed to do the upgrade and bring my house up to code.
Does anyone have a recommendation for an electrician that could speak to all what is needed plus making it up to code?

Was hoping someone might know of a place that can come pick up gas cylinders from a residential address?
No car. And I don't want dad's gas cylinders laying around any more lol.

Paid well over a grand for a custom ECU and wiring harness for my project car. I just got home from work and checked the tracking a few minutes ago for the very first time. My package was marked as “Delivered, Front Door/Porch” @ noon. I live in an apartment building with controlled access. Went to all the neighboring buildings in my complex to check if it was mis-delivered but I can’t see anything through the other buildings doors that would be big enough to match what I bought. Saw online that a bunch of folks from all over have had this happen. Figured I’d ask y’all to see if anything like that has happened to you guys. Gonna go to my apt office first thing in the morning then hit the post office afterwards if nothing comes of that

With the chilly weekend ahead we went to turn on the boiler in an old Victorian we are working on and one of the old cast iron radiators sprung a leak. They are original to the house and I would rather find someone to repair it rather than replace it. Does anyone know who in town I can call? It has been a long evening and I appreciate this sub and everyone so much!

Any recs for someone to clean out our dryer vent? It’s in the basement venting up and out. I had major surgery recently and don’t want to stand on the washer for 15 minutes trying to jam the far end back onto the port in the wall.

I went to Micheal’s recently to grab a few things and there was a group of 3 guys coming up to everyone with bins of candy asking for people to buy them to raise money for charity. I declined partially because I didn’t have cash and am not comfortable sending virtual payments to random people on a whim but also because I’d gone to another store down the block from Micheals a few months ago and was approached by someone else selling candy to raise money in a similar way and something felt iffy about it.
Am I overthinking feeling apprehensive or have other people been approached by people like this and that feeling was correct?

I’m behind on my rent and I’m really needing help. I had a job offer lined up but they rescinded the offer so right now I’m scrambling to find a job. I’ve been applying to multiple jobs everyday, and I’ve had interviews but nobody is getting back to me. Even if it’s something simple as lawn mowing or house keeping I’ll do it. If anyone has any resources for rental assistance or jobs hiring PLEASE let me know.

Can anybody who works at Conagra confirm if they test for weed during a preemployment drug screening? I saw a job I am interested in but don’t want to waste anyone’s time if they test for marijuana. Thanks in advance for any insight!

I'm looking for 2 golfers on Saturday to play at Oak Hills. It would be $100 to play. The weather should be awesome and anyone would be able to play even non-members. Basic golf dress code and some golfing skills are required. Feel free to message me or reply here to claim the spots.
Edit: One spot has been claimed. One opening remains.

I have been at my current address for about 5 years. About 6 months ago I got someone else’s new car registration in the mail. Had my address on it, just their name. So it’s not like it was the wrong address. Now for the last couple months I’ve been getting all kinds of traffic and toll violations in the mail for this person. I have done “return to sender, wrong address” on everything I’ve gotten for them but still getting multiple things.
I just called the Douglas County Treasurer office and they said there’s nothing they can do because they don’t require proof of address when registering a car. Is that true? It’s been a while since I initially registered mine (not just renewed online), so don’t remember exactly what was needed but I could’ve sworn you needed proof of address. Does it seem crazy that they won’t do anything?

Looking for a roofing company to repair the flashing around my chimney that is leaking to the attic. The flashing was previously re-sealed in the last year (not by a company) and the issue has returned with this recent rain, so wanting a professional to take a look this time. Already tried contacting C&S but they appear to be fully booked.

I've gone through the post history and didn't see anything that addressed this specific topic. I have a historical home, oldest in my neighborhood built in 1881. I'm looking for personal recommendations for a plumber who would be able to camera/scope my main drain to the street to anticipate any problems.
Currently, nothing is wrong, but it would be nice to know how many feet of cast iron, ceramic, or pvc I have, and what I could anticipate.
Ideally looking for a small business with integrity. I don't want some large company who is going to try and scare me into thousands of dollars of repairs I don't need.

Edit: Wow! Thank you everyone for such kind words! I genuinely was not expecting that. And thank you everyone who gave insight & suggestions for the Tree Top Rush. You all definitely made me feel more confident.
Has anyone of larger size, specifically larger butts and thighs done this? I’m concerned about the harness fitting. I have been on a weigh loss journey for almost 2 years and have finally crossed the 200lbs lost mark. I started at 475lbs and am now at 265lbs. To celebrate my accomplishment so far I wanted to do something I’ve always dreamed of and that’s doing the tree rush ropes course & zip line at Fontenelle. I am finally under the weight limit but I’m concerned about the harness fitting my rear & thighs. For reference I’m a size large on top and a size 18/20 in my lower half. I want to do it so much but i know if I get there and it doesn’t fit I will feel like such a failure. I provided some picture for reference. Thanks everyone!

I volunteer in the building and it’s owned by a church and have noticed its sloping quite a bit on one corner. And the wall is away from the floor and cracks throughout the building, I afraid the building could be over a sink hole that is forming. Shelving outside of building is sinking into the ground .Should I be concerned??
