How somebody destroyed my base even though no one except me can make changes in my bases? And why? What destroying other bases give? Satisfaction? Advantage? Whoever destroyed my base, i hope you're gonna have the same issue with your bases.

Just found out you could throw space rocks at astroids and blow them up , also you can drag rocks around the ground until they break lol

Tried to restart the game couple of times, but still is this a bug that I should just wait and it’ll be fixed by itself or I should do something? [ playing on PS5]

I just witnessed 2 players AFK getting kidnapped at the anomaly.

First kidnapped player: xXDark_OracleXx (Apollo character)

Second kidnapped player: unknown name (Gek character)

The kidnappers:

3 players in a group named: [Cur3] Lobotomy Corp.

The corvette belonged to player: Xer

The 2nd player: Lil Goooochy

Third player unknown

The corvette name: Voice of the Otendoli

They were using their shields to push the kidnapped players into the teleporter, to their corvette, then pushed them up the ramp. I tried to get in their way and stop them, but there was nothing I could do.

There was another player there that I think was trying to help also. Luckily we were both able to jump out before they took off.

I have included screenshots. I feel like I just went through a real kidnapping. Don’t go AFK at the anomaly people!

I thought I was doing good with a rifle with damage of over 10,000, but I was curious. So, I took all my multi-tools and stripped them down to no technology except for what couldn’t be removed. I had royals, experimental, rifles, pistols, alien, etc. I looked at the base damage and they were all around either 300, 400, or 500. Well, except for one that was a base of 946!

It was the autophage rifle that I found at an autophage camp. In my opinion, the ugliest one that I almost got rid of. I now have this weapon at an amazing damage of 21,637 and scanner at 1,422 and I haven’t even filled the technology slots yet.

Can you all share your best weapons?

After days of building out a 128 sided circle and scaling up the glass panels I can finally show off my Halo.

Had an AWESOME C rank Pistol that for some reason had 2.3k damage on it. Really was carrying me as I learned the game. Never found anything remotely close to that guy even when finding B and A rank options.

Wasn't sure why it was that high but figured I might spend the resources to upgrade if it was going to remain the best option.

Picked up random cool looking ones as I went but figured it will be nice having different types to try them out.

Picked up a 7th.

Wondering where my fully upgraded one with all my good mods went.

Can't switch back via quick menu. Look in various inventory for it. No luck.

Look online. See if you pick up a 7th you lose the equipped one no warning..... "Damn it"

So, I’ve been playing No Man’s Sky for around 60 hours now, and I think it’s time for my first professional performance review.
I’ve acquired a Sentinel ship, a freighter, and enough random items to open a moderately unsuccessful intergalactic convenience store.

-Do I understand what half of these things do?
Absolutely not.

-Do I collect everything that glows?
Religiously.

-Do I have a strategic plan?
Yes. It’s called “I’ll probably need this later.”

At this point, I’m basically a space hoarder with a pilot’s licence.

Anyway, I’ve attached screenshots of my ship, freighter, technology, and inventory.

I need the experienced intergalactic taxpayers here to advise

Feel free to roast my setup, but please include some actual advice so I can pretend this was an educational experience.

just wanted to show off a couple posters I've made for some of my ships here at Signet: Inter-civ Services.

Some of the ships also have variants exclusive to the Aurelis Prime Federation's reward shop!

All these posters were made by hand by myself. The ships themselves are blender builds which i positioned infront of a huge greenscreen ingame and edited around.

Found two worlds colliding right in the middle, and thought it looked pretty cool!

If you want to visit, read this before traveling there:

1. The glyphs shared on the picture will take you right in the middle where they collide, pretty cool to look at, but you WILL get stuck. Make sure to create a save point before entering the portal.

2. If you want to land on the other side and be able to explore the system, just replace the first glyph (eclipse) with a diplo, everything else stays the same.

Newish player here (2 months), and just experienced something that I hadn't expected, and that was a kidnap and release situation!

I was in the anomaly, by the quicksilver vendor, and had to go afk for a bit after completing the expedition.

When I returned I wasn't in the anomaly any more.

Instead, I was stood next to my ship on a space station, which was situated 3,042 LY from the galactic core of Odyalutai. A very long way from my home in the Euclid galaxy.

I have no idea what happened. Or how it happened.

After some research I worked out where I was, which then surprised me even further.

My PvP is off, but I can't find a way to turn kidnapping off! 😄

Is this a common occurrence?
