First time playing with the sword. Just curious if any of my martial arts would be better severed in a different stance or swap out some of the moves for better ones. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Spent a bit wondering what's better, a crucible weapon or a divine item weapon, but the game decided to say "why not both?"

once in NG+2 (enlightened) it is very straightforward to put together a very strong ninja onmyo build - and the onmyo damage is far higher than ninjutsu. Running ultimate magic and untouched onmyo with ToF/carnage and using the occasional sacred feather is a no brainer at this point unless you want to leave a lot of damage on the table.
It feels like ninjutsu needs a significant uplift in the next title update.
Thoughts?

So im trying to figure out which set i should be working towards...
For clarification I only play in ninja stance so that will be the only set I need advice for.
Currently ive been using Clandestine Yagyu Ways for the backstab bonuses.
Im using a water imbued hoko and shield.
My general strategy has been using shadow step to position behind enemies, either jumping or an attack that gets me airborne and using my hold triangle move to foat mid air until my ki is fully depleted, then shadowstepping back out or using the retreating ninjutsu to get out. Im also throwing shurikens between damage windows.
The backstab damage isnt consistent as enemies will often turn around and start attacking me while im doing my air triangle so im unsure if I would get more utility out of a set like grace of owatsumi? (The water one) on shinobi armor with the passive backstab bonuses.
Other things I use are
• the blood edge demon and lightning miniboss enemy summons with the skill that refreshes them if i burst counter to apply lightning debuff.
•the new water ninja cat spirit
•Currently also using random 1 piece graces to fill out my other slots with a yasakani magatama for a bunch of HP

Hello, yesterday I've finished Nioh 1 and now I want to go for the second game.
I was playing a build of... probably nothing, I didn't went to all those NG+ to get something viable but I was trying to play elemental affliction with enchanting weapon, but it was not working a lot of time because ennemies were dying too fast or affliction was not getting up fast enough (usually because of eternal guard).
Anyways, I don't know much what I want to play now in Nioh 2, but the thing I know is that I would like to try new weapon. For the first game, I went Kuragisama and Tonfa. Loved both of them ! Kuragisama had nice move and Tonfa was very fast and the canceling gimick was sick.
Now there is about 4 very new weapons. I feel attracted with fist and splitstaff but I'm still unsure, I don't know how they work together and also if something could suit me too. (I like fast weapon, especially if they have cool move, but it could help me to have something against humans or a bit stronger hit, this time.)
So, any advice ?
Tl:Dr : Finished Nioh 1 and want to try new weapons (no Kuragisama/Tonfa)

I know I can't actually skip it, I mean there's a new difficulty now and I'd rather rush through Shogun. Are there any important items to pick up? Skill points, the things that increase spirit force, any sort of perma upgrade.
Thanks all!
