yeah i been facing enough pressure in family about my job and i am 22 , I just planning to move out and live solely without daily quarrels and fights . I just wanna be independent .

Recently talked to my friend , he agreed to find a job and it pays fairly well . The situation with my parents is that they are kind people and never made anything less in my life but i didnt what i have to achieve . The thing that they expecting is thaat i am studying hard but in reality i just not .

I have mountains of backlogs , its just confusing . I cant reveal those to my parents or they tolerate if i reveal them the truth . Btw i am mentally strong , i dont wanna die at all . Instead running away better option. There are lots of people who messed up things way worse than me , and they dont have dare and take their life .

I just wanna escape this routine and go somewhere the freedom i want instead living in a cage . Yeah i decided to not disappear totally . I will call them regularly and update them despite they dont know where i live .

Yeah is there legal way to do all this , if i escape my parents might complain police and they track me . I wanna report them first . If i go to report them about my escape do they note it or inform to parents directly . I am adult still living like child , life sucks man pls help

THIS IS MY COUSINS STORY, I feel like she will find her person but she thinks she can't. shes from south indian telugu community btw.

For context, shes 22F, moved abroad with her parents in teenage, so got citizenship recently, did btech, graduated 2 years ago, single child and family has got about 1 million USD. Looks good as well. Now she works in customer service and makes about 30lpa in rupees like 2lpm (which is average). The reason why she does this she wasn't able to get a job and been working in this for the last two years. No relationships or whatsoever in the past. Now she wants either someone working in tech in abroad or someone in india (I mean she wants someone making more than 20 lpa in india in case they live there).

Now the problem is her parents want her to get married in the next year or the one after. She want to transition into tech but got no super supportive ppl as shes got gap. Now, shes super concerned about not finding a good match cuz shes not in tech.

​I'm an IT professional, working long hours from afternoon to midnight shifts. It's been 12 years since I moved away from my hometown and parents. These days, my days become so boring and lonely; I used to travel to break the monotony, but I've stopped doing that now. On top of that, there have been many layoffs in my team, which is creating even more pressure on me.

​Now, my parents are actively looking for a girl for me to marry. I'm feeling a mix of pressure, loneliness, and uncertainty about what the future holds. Has anyone else been through this or felt similarly? Any advice would be appreciated
