i joined newgrounds last year and went to explore stuff there for a while. when the background changed, i saw strawberry clock along with some newgrounds characters. searched for it, i still didnt understand.

The flash cartoon starts with Mario receiving a letter that his games have no storylines and that Super Mario Sunshine is a "big gay", and then Mario starts going on a rant and for some reason shows a guy on the computer eating KFC, while Mario rants about it. And then it cuts to the Mario Bros' home where Mario argues with the narrator and He and Luigi go out to find the star rod. I don't remember much else from the short aside from the fact that they rejected a goomba's invitation to be their partner and it had a "pick your own ending" minigame at the end, with one of them being Bowser singing to Princess Peach and Mario & Luigi criticized him and threw a shell at him.

I'm excited to announce that the demo of Purple Limbo, my psychological horror/romance visual novel, is now available on itch.io!

What's the game about?

After a life of hopelessness and loneliness, you perform a ritual as a last resort, searching for everlasting happiness.

Instead, you find yourself surrounded by endless darkness.

Now you're trapped in Purple Limbo, bound by a purpose you don't fully understand yet.

But you're not completely alone.

You walk a dark path alongside a mysterious girl and a monolith that thirsts for blood.

Content Warning

This game contains mature themes, including death, suicide, murder, violence, captivity, drug use, bullying, emotional abuse, psychological horror, and strong language.

Please consider these warnings before playing if any of these themes may be distressing to you.

Play the demo on itch.io and Newgrounds:

I'll also be bringing Purple Limbo to Game Jolt soon, and I'm planning to release it on other platforms as well, so stay tuned for future updates!

As a solo indie developer, I'll keep working on the story as much as I can, as long as enough people enjoy it. I plan to expand it with optional branches and polish everything further. This demo serves as a teaser.

If you'd like to help me spend more time on my projects, including Purple Limbo, you can support me here. I'd be truly grateful:

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to check out my game and support my work.

It was a nerve wrecking time, trying to see whether my game will pass the judgment. Finally, it has passed! Unfortunately, from all the votes not a single comment. I am really looking for feedback on my game play so I can see what refinements I need to make to my gameplay. See the link below

Sylvan's Curse

On the newgrounds portal, I have been seeing a rise in games that look like it was created with ChatGPT or WebSim. I’ve collected 3 screenshots from three different creators. Most of these creators joined newgrounds a day before these games were made, so I’m suspicious if the games are 100% made with ai.

Found this in an old AMV video.

Promotional for a game I'm hoping to release on newgrounds

I cannot, for the life of me, remember the title to a 2v2 sprite fight with OC megaman vs OC sonic characters. I swear it was like Team something versus Team. The Zero sprite looked like a fully black dressed Anakin Skywalker and used movesets from Megaman Zero. The X model kinda had like monkey features to it and would blasters in the fight. The other side were 2 OC sonic sprites. A pink one like Amy and probably a Shadow-like sprite too. The beginning of the animation starts off with the X model walking in a sandstorm with a cape covering him. Then, he gets made fun of by his “Zero” teammate. Then they duke it out 2v2 with the sonic OCs. The blonde haired, black dressed, Zero sprite model wins it all in the end.

PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME FIND IT AND RELIVE AN OLD MEMORY OF MINE!!!!!
