Between a new Edge Mach 1 , bullitt and 281 saleen which are you picking and why?

Hello! I heard of people swapping the 3.8 V6 cranks for 4.2 cranks. I’m considering doing it on mine since I’m rebuilding the engine. I’m just curious is it as simple as getting one and dropping it in? Or will I have to do some fabrication? I’m taking the block to the machine shop in a few days and just want to know all that it requires to swap

02 GT. Changing out the intake and saw this. Is this a leak or just build up from driving? Is this leaking from the valve cover?

Just some slight rubbing on the rears on the fenders, fronts had zero issue. Thinking I might be able to heat and roll/minorly stretch the rear a little and shouldn’t be an issue. Or I need to install the adjustable rear control arms and raise it a little.

Definitely need to upgrade the LSD. Inside tire fire was hindering my acceleration out of some of the obstacles.

But overall was a resounding success. LSD and the torque arm/track bar is next over the winter.

Oh, and my power steering started whining like crazy after each run. First time that’s happened so a new pump is also on the list. Luckily it didn’t impact the hydro boost.

24k miles. The stickers and other cosmetics were put on by the previous owner, trying to determine if the paint damage would be worth removing them.

The original struts were replaced with some lower quality ones, working on getting some bilsteins to put on here. Driver window doesnt roll down and the vert top will go down but not back up on its own. Outside of those problems the car is otherwise perfect. Factory radio harness is intact and the radio was included, not sure if I'll be returning that to stock yet or going with a better aftermarket one.

I'll likely take the boyd coddington rims off and replace them with some sve series 4's I had recently put on a V6. Then just hold onto them.

This is my first experience with a V8 mustang and it may not be fast but this is a fucking dream car. Collectible enough to be proud of, not so priceless that im afraid to drive it.

What could the squeak mean?? Got under the car and took off the dust cover on the transmission, squeak is super loud here and in the engine bay where the firewall is. Any help is appreciated and thanks 🙏

Today I decided to finally drain and refill my coolant on my 99 cobra along with a new coolant crossover pipe, radiator fan and an aluminum overflow/degasser tank. I bought an eBay tank because I didn’t feel like paying 300 bucks for a name brand one. When I was finishing up I tried to put the oem cap on but the cap was too large for the neck fill so I had no choice but to use the aluminum non venting cap. Is it ok to run the car with that style cap? When I let the car get to operating temp there were no leaks or any hoses popping off due to the pressure. Is there even an oem style cap that’ll fit the eBay tank? Or will I have to buy an OE/name brand aluminum tank?

Hey guys, been talking to a few folk on instagram and reading into a bit, I have a very high mileage car and everything is going to be replaced, I Have been seriously considering this Bash bar just for the jacking point alone, a few drift guys say it makes it so so much easier to do maintenance, any one running one or done something similar, jacking up the car kinda sucks to do.

It looks like my tail lights says something on the cover but when I google it it doesn't come back to anything "khc k120305". You can barely read it but it looks like the KHC is a brand. Does anyone know if the ACANII or Raxiom ones have that or what these are? As you can see someone hit me and I need to replace it. Thank you

Bought this 2000 mustang v6 for $200. I’m rebuilding the engine and want to do some performance mods but due to the v6’s not having as much aftermarket products I’m having a bit of a hard time. Wondering if anyone has rebuilt these and what they ran in them in terms off forged pistons, cams, valve springs, push rods, etc?

Anyone with a Cobra had this problem? Baer 13 inch classic series brake kit. This just randomly started happening.

2000 v6 Mustang

You guys helped me out well with advice in my last post so I'm back again😅

I had an EVAP leak and found it at the charcoal canister connection (not the vent valve solenoid.) Took out the canister and found that the connection piece was damaged and wouldn't stay fully seated, you can see in the first Pic, one of those "teeth" clip things is bent in.

Now my problem is that I can't for the life of me find a replacement part online, and I don't even know what to type to search for it. I did find like one or two options but they don't look anything like the original.

Attached is the picture of the connector, the leak at the canister connection, and the pipe/hose where the other end connects to. Thank you!!!

I have a cylinder 6 misfire and I was looking to do my spark plugs and coil packs. It hasnt been easy to find the OEM Motorcraft DG-508s. All the ones i have found are super expensive at $100 each! Do any of you guys run aftermarket? What would you recommend? Ive found some ebay listings claiming to be oem but the price seems too good to be true.

Does anyone know exactly what tail light these are? I really really like them and I want to get some more after someone just hit me

I’ve replaced all of my valve stem seals and my valve cover gasket to fix an oil leak that I had which was causing oil to pool on top of many of my spark plugs. I took my spark plugs out about 200 miles after doing those replacements and on cylinder 4 I had oil pooling again but it was only on cylinder 4 no obvious oil on the valve cover either. I had a rookie mistake you can see in the photos which I’ve fixed now but I got an intake which was horribly misaligned and I had to dremmel some of the plastic to even get a socket to torque the spark plug down I thought I cleaned out all the small plastic pieces but I guess I didn’t at the time didn’t get it all I couldn’t really see either when I was working on it. (I did stuff the spark plug housing with a paper towel while dremmeling)

How often do you guys get your oil change ? Do you really need to get it every 3000 miles or is every 5000 okay ?

Where exactly is the drain holes for rain on this 2004 mustang?

Last time there was an insane rain storm my rear passenger carpet got wet and I had to remove the whole carpet.

I took off the weather cowl to clean up the leaves (some leaves fell on it as I was taking the pic thats why it looks dirty) but I want to 100% make sure the drain system is clear as tomorrow my city is about to have a REALLY bad storm and I want to keep the mustang safe.

And no, I dont have a garage or anywhere to store it and all the stores are closed for Canadian Thanksgiving to go buy a cover.

Anybody have this issue where the lens gets all foggy/scratched up even after cleaning with a microfiber towel ?
