Timing wound up being right when getting the Schaefer kit as he got announced as an alternate captain so I decided to add the A and the All Star patch as well.

The HFC jersey was originally going to be my last name and my lucky number 9(beat cancer 4 years ago) but after my Mom was diagnosed with stage 3 non-hodgkins lymphoma this spring I decided to go with 55 for her birth year. She just finished up chemo a few weeks ago so hopefully I can take her and my Dad to the HFC game next month.

And I’ll tell you that for free.

I posted on Facebook about this and one of Mike's sisters and one of Mike's brothers reposted, as did his 2 daughters. From hereon, October 13, shall be known as Bossy Day! We celebrate year 50 of his first goal October 13, 2027!

Hello everyone!

I am coming to visit New York this Decemeber (all the way from Australia) and I am hoping to go to the Islanders- Rangers game on Dec 20. Tickets are a bit high with the exchange rate and I am curious when is the best time to buy. Do I risk it and try the day before?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

We are planning to fly into JFK for a same-day game at UBS. Is there a decent area to stay outside of Manhattan that has bars and restaurants nearby and is safe? We’ll head into Manhattan later on in the vacation so not worried about missing anything there and would prefer not to land at JFK, trek to Manhattan just to turn around to get back to UBS.

Obviously we drafted Sorokin in the 3rd round of that 2014 draft so it's unlikely we'd pick Igor ourselves, but it's funny to think had we never traded for Halak, Rangers may never have picked Igor.

And who's to know if we'd even end up in the 118 pick position without Halak. Trade butterfly effects are wild.

So we're less than 5 months out from the ASG, and it's been nothing short of complete radio silence from both The NHL and The Isles regarding details on it. No ticket sale dates (though the NHL experiences website is....god those prices are yikes 😬), no mention of WHO can get the tickets (Ive seen mixed statements saying that some STHs got an email from the team saying that only STHs will have access to buying tickets, with no plans for general public sales despite the Islanders advertising that they'll get priority before general public sales go live), etc.

For an event we haven't hosted since the freaking EIGHTIES, (and one I'd like to attend personally), this is nothing short of a pure clusterfuck. I went as far as to pay for a quarter season ticket membership plan a few days ago, and even THAT doesn't say when pre-sale goes live, and then I see a handful of Half/Full Season Ticket holders saying they've already gone on sale?

What is going on????

Not Isles Related - at this time even though Belmont Racetrack is open construction is still going on . This tunnel from the looks of it only brings you from the emerald parking lot / track infield just before the UBS welcome board by the bricks on the Plaza.

The only way I see them using it is October 2027 on the 29 and 30 to be exact for the Breeders Cup. If UBS has an Islanders game fans will be able to use that tunnel from emerald / track infield .

Not Isles Related - with a loss last night . How was your experience leaving . Has anyone had issues with the garage. problems with the LIRR or issues with rideshare.

I’m hearing if you go to mall when it’s still open and leave after the game it’s $175 to get your car out .

Going to keep asking these questions periodically until ingress and egress gets fixed . The 2 pictures I attached need to be addressed before June 2027 in preparation for the Belmont stakes.
