I’m stuck on not getting any upvotes yet I cannot comment on anything without my comment getting removed? 😅😭 this app is so confusing in general helppp

Is it possible that Reddit thinks I’m a bot because I deleted my posts or is it because my karma went so low?

It shows post removed by reddit's filters.

Reddit seems like a lawless place and anything can and will happen. Looking for suggestions on the best places to visit for educational purposes or all around fun. Thanks!

I’m not a new to reddit member but I posted a question in a new forum today, after reviewing their rules and ensuring I didn’t breach them. And it was removed

SoI posted a very polite post making it clear the purpose of my polite post was not to argue the first posts removal or beg for reinstatement, but that I genuinely did not understand why my post had been removed and I’d reviewed their rules again and couldn’t identify anything that breached them and simply wanted to understand why it had been removed. My second post was removed immediately so presumably auto removed. I don’t know if the first one was removed immediately (posted it maybe 3 hrs ago but didn’t stay on the page to check if it was published before removal), I got a notification later and there was actually a response from “mod” to it but right below that response a notification, that it had been removed.

Idon’t get this behaviour?

Fair enough, if you have rules and they are breached.
But what’s with removing, or setting up auto removal of posts which are not breaching any specified rules (and it was a scientific topic, so the content of my post was not dirty, or dodgy, or in any way violating general reddit rules for posting) with no reason given to the poster?
it doesn’t seem like a good way to encourage open dialogue

Can anyone explain why some forums seem to have set up these sorts of exclusionary rules that are not included in the forums published rules?

Every sub reddit is like a competitive job market. YOu have to be at a certain reddit nerd level to even post in a sub reddit.
