“Chris Pappas's unwavering dedication to our veterans and his efforts to foster bipartisan cooperation set him apart as a leader who will prioritize the needs of all constituents,” Bolduc said in a statement first released to the Union Leader.

“His ability to navigate the complex landscape of our economy, tackle the national debt with a steady hand, and work towards solutions that bridge divides is especially critical in today’s challenging political climate.”

New England College Covered Bridge Fall Foliage Henniker, NH 10-14-2026

Post image

I think I captured my most favorite fall foliage photo of this 2026 season right in our backyard. We're new to New Hampshire and are not terribly familiar with the area where we live yet but I discovered this covered bridge this morning and the foliage was PEAK! I shot this with my Sony A7RIV and my 24-70mm G-master lens. This is a two photo panorama that I merged together in Lightroom.

Politics Stop getting political poll research calls

• Upvotes

I took one research poll call & now everyday I get calls from them 3x a day. I have told them to stop calling me and they still persist. Yesterday I began blocking those numbers!

DO NOT TAKE ANY POLL RESEARCH CALLS; THEY ARE A NIGHTMARE!!!!

And I have no clue how to stop them from harassing me.

Moose mountain closed?

I was looking at places to go sledding and came across moose mountain. Their website is gone, and it looks like they haven't posted on FB in a while. Are they closed? Does anyone know about sledding there?

I’ve found him in my boot. In my laptop. Under my vitamins. In my drawer. Under fruit. Over fruit. So many flyers every single day.

He calls them our Halloween decorations because he’s “so dang scary”

Discussion Truck spray in bedliners

Does anyone have any recommendations on places that do spray in liners in southern NH?

Ideally, I'd like to get an undercoat sprayed on as well, but I know not all shops do that, so if anyone has any suggestions for that as well, that'd be great!

Thanks!

Politics Are the Free Staters too cheap to pay for postage, or just protesting another government service?

Post image

Tongue in cheek here, but I found it interesting that in the midst of getting a billion political mailers, the free staters chose to just tape a baggie full of theirs to my mailbox. Maybe they don't have the money for postage, or maybe they think using government services isn't in line with their values, or maybe they're just too lazy to walk up to the porch. Anyway, I now have a list of people never to vote for.

UPDATE: Thanks to those who pointed out that attaching something to a mailbox is also illegal under federal law. I know you couldn't put things into one. The irony of turning these folks in to the feds is delicious but honestly I can't be bothered at this point.
