Hey everyone, I wanted to share an experience I had on Reddit and get some honest opinions about it.
I came across a girl's comment on newdelhi subreddit and decided to message her because I wanted some suggestions regarding a glow-up, makeup, dressing sense, and a few other things.
To give some context, I had been going through a difficult time emotionally. I had an unpleasant experience with a girl at my coaching she is from bihar, she said that her frnd from delhi have helped her taught her to be a baddie so, when I asked her for suggestions about improving my dressing sense and overall appearance. Instead of getting the kind of advice I was hoping for, I felt humiliated by the experience, and it affected my confidence.
I was already feeling low and thinking about that experience when I came across this girl's comment on newdelhi subreddit,I thought perhaps she could give me some genuine suggestions about improving myself. I wanted to learn how to dress better, improve my appearance, and develop more confidence.
I messaged her politely and asked if she could give me a few suggestions. She agreed, so I asked whether she was from Delhi. I then explained that I wanted to become a baddie but didn't know where to start.
She asked how I had found her profile, and I explained which comment I had seen. She later asked for my Instagram and my age. I told her I was 20 and didn't have Instagram because I mainly used Reddit for counselling-related information and I already mentioned her that I'm doing my neet prep.
After that, she asked me to show her my Aadhaar card or PAN card along with my photograph. I wasn't comfortable sharing my personal identification documents with someone I had just met online, so I questioned why I needed to prove my identity.
That's when the conversation started going downhill. She called me a creep, questioned whether I was actually a girl, and eventually made fun of my English. She also said she would post screenshots of our conversation on the Delhi subreddit.
I want to clarify something about my English and Hindi. English isn't a language I can always express myself perfectly in, especially when I'm emotionally overwhelmed. I also don't know Hindi very well, so I sometimes struggle to communicate properly in Hindi. At the time, I was already feeling low because of what had happened at college. I wasn't in the best state of mind, and I may not have expressed myself as clearly as I could have.
That doesn't mean I was pretending to be someone else. I'm a girl, and I genuinely wanted advice from someone I thought might be able to help me.
I understand that people online need to be cautious, and I respect anyone's decision not to engage in a conversation. If she didn't want to help me, she could simply have said so, and I would have moved on.
But being judged as a creep or being accused of pretending to be a girl because of the way I communicate was hurtful, especially when I was already struggling with my confidence. I'm not claiming that I handled every part of the conversation perfectly. I became defensive when I felt I was being misunderstood, and the conversation turned into an argument.
Looking back, I wish I had simply ended the conversation instead of continuing to explain myself.
I'm sharing this because she mentioned posting screenshots of our conversation, and I don't want people to judge the situation without understanding the context. Sometimes, people approach others online because they're struggling with their confidence and genuinely looking for advice. Not everyone communicates perfectly, and poor English or Hindi doesn't automatically mean someone is lying about their identity. I'm not posting this to attack her or encourage anyone to contact her. I just want to understand whether I crossed a boundary by approaching her for advice or whether this was a misunderstanding that escalated unnecessarily.
Girl, ifif you're reading this please don’t judge English based on gender or jump to conclusions. I’m not trying to play the victim or make anyone look bad,I just want to clear my side. I don’t know why you've blocked me before I could explain. If I did anything wrong, I’m sorry. I posted this only because I felt misunderstood.
I'd genuinely appreciate honest opinions, even if you think I could have handled things differently.
Thank you for reading.
Mods please don't delete my post.

Hi, I’m a 25-year-old guy from Gurugram, coming from a middle-class family.
From the day I started my job, I made a promise to myself: to save as much as I could and do something meaningful for my family.
Over the last two years, I’ve saved a decent amount of money and, more importantly, completed the construction of one floor of our home.
Today, my father told me he was proud of me. ❤️
I know this might seem like a small achievement to some, but for me, it’s the biggest milestone of my life so far.
Sorry if this sounds a little emotional, but I just wanted to share this moment with people who might understand what it means to come from a middle-class family and slowly build something of your own.
Now, I want to meet like-minded people in Gurugram who are ambitious, love building things, and want to explore business ideas together.
If that sounds like you, let’s connect! 🤝

So, yesterday around 11pm I ordered some veggies and a durex lube through blinkit now this delivery boy called me so I told him to come to my floor nd gave him the flat number after he handed over me my parcel he started to stare me for a moment and then I asked if something is wrong he started saying, "ma'am yeh kyun mangaya hai mujhse kaha hota thook (saliva) se he kar lete" I was flabbergasted with his statement I immediately told him to go away and shut my door now I was so shocked and felt humiliated I immediately complained it to Blinkit they said they'll do something about it but no response yet. I was so scared due to all of this plus I live with my roommate she was not there so I was scared for my safety as well but she came after sometime and helped me to calm down.
I don't understand how come these people have so much courage to do such things I heard a similar sort of story where a woman ordered a sex toy for herself and the delivery boy passed a derogatory comment to that woman.
Btw the products under sexual wellness are generally discreet so no one is allowed to see them and it was not my first time ordering lube I order it every month but this incident happened for the first time.
I genuinely hope that mf gets some strict action

Most Indians live with their parents or in a joint family. There's a lot of sneaking around happening even before dating. Once you do start dating, casually or seriously, you choose the time and space in stealth. Maybe that one time when your parents are out of town, or the 2-3 hours when your friends go for an outing and their place is free. Or perhaps booking a hotel room, which can become expensive.
So, in short, there's a very low frequency of intimacy. Exists recommend very revival sexual intimacy. But youngsters in India are probably getting intimate once or twice a year, due to constraints like the ones mentioned here.
And this continues until you marry each other and move out. However, many Indian couples live with their parents even after marriage. And then they have kids.
Am I right?

Hey everyone! 😊
My brother and I recently started a small project called The Uncertainty, where we explore science and philosophical questions through cinematic conversations.
Our first video is about time dilation , a subject that made us think deeply about time and how we experience reality.
We spent two nights and three days creating this video. It's our first attempt at this kind of storytelling, so we're still learning and figuring things out.
I'd genuinely appreciate some honest feedback, especially on the storytelling, dialogue, pacing, and cinematic presentation.
Here's the video: https://youtube.com/shorts/KKu3EnhaUEE?si=PKcPIipjtvzVB78w
I'm not expecting everyone to love it. I just want to learn what works, what doesn't, and how we can make the next one better. 😊
Thanks for giving an independent project a chance!❣️

My iPhone 16 Pro's Face ID suddenly stopped working (no drop, no damage). Front portrait mode is dead too, but the normal front camera works fine.
I'm not willing to spend 20K-30K on Apple Authorised Repairs. Local shops say it's a micro-soldering fix for around 5k.
Two questions:
1. Has anyone actually got Face ID fixed on a 15 or 16 series at an independent shop in Delhi NCR? Who did it, what did it cost, and did it hold up after iOS updates?
2. Which shops or technicians would you recommend for this kind of micro-soldering work? Happy to travel within NCR for someone good.
Bad experiences welcome too, so I know who to avoid.
