GENERAL FEEDBACK AD exchange
I noticed AD for Zen went from 750 to 900 each. Honestly has that actually gotten any of you to buy AD more often with Zen or is it the same ppl buying the same amount as before for less Zen? I'm glad they finally raised the cap but feel like a round 1k would have been better.

I miss the days of buying low at 150 and selling high when it crawled past 200.

I miss when Nverwinter first dropped on ps4. Could buy zen for 50-75 ad, open a bunch of boxes, sell all the stuff and profit. Rinse and repeat. I made something like 1 billion ad before I stopped

Even on PC, long ago you were able to fill the exchange about once a quarter. Getting 100,000 zen a year was fun.

It happened a month ago.
PC market has a 12million fewer zen being asked for (at the cap). Some of that will be people put the same AD back for less Zen and some people who aren’t paying enough attention have had their listing effectively removed if not actually.
It is a scummy move. Dishonest and unpleasant.
If they’d wanted to speed up the zen exchange they would have reduced the amount you put on not increased the cap. This has speeded things up briefly, PC is already back at 7 months (probably. And maybe made some people happy who were quick to jump in the change so skipping to the front of the queue. All they have achieved is kicking some listings of people taking a break. Whilst pissing off those whose listing was invalidated and weren’t quick enough to respond. I responded in the first 24 hours but still went from about a week from maturity of my listing to at least two months.

Not announcing it sucked but overall I think a large chunk of what hasn't bought back into the ZAX is people that left the game.

Some may have “left”, some may be taking a break until the next real mod , some may be taking a more protracted break. They will come back and their orders will still be on the ZAX but never to be fulfilled . Which is crappy but would but mildly excusable if anything significant had been achieved, but it hasn’t. Other than driving a few more players away. Maybe the effect is better on PS, xbox was already fine.

They just need to remove that cap and let market stabilize

Anyone asking for this doesn't understand how greedy players really are. This ideal sounds good on paper until people going to the auction house start paying 100,000 ad for one preservation ward or 10 million ad for one coalescent mode.
I do think they should have just raised the new cap to a thousand ad though.

Then it's their true worth, by keeping it locked you are achieving nothing, after the unlock prices would soar for a while then would settle to a normal amount people would be willing to pay. They should have done this years ago when the backlog first started.

Goodness no if this game economy crashes and it is like 60% of this game. There won't be a game left to play. One of the reasons this game is able to say it's free to play and not pay to play is because of the limit place in the zen market. A large amount of people, especially new people would not have the means to play this game if that happened. You're saying this because you think you understand what will happen but let me be the first to tell you, what you think is going to happen is not what's going to happen. What will happen is there will be a lot of people going "Hey, I have all this stuff that's worth so much and yet I can't sell it." Essentially making their items worthless. In fact, this would drive people to go to those third-party ad sites more. And I can see in my head you going well then they'll just drop the price of those items and I am here to tell you that greed in this game when it comes to its players knows no bounds.

U crazy man ain't no new players engaging with zen exchange because of almost 1 year wait, only people that use it are vets with millions in bank like you probably that don't wanna change the good setup they got.Only logical thing here is removing the limits I don't know what mental gymnastics you are doing to come up with that Neverwinter players are inherently more prone to abuse the free market. A ton of other games do it, like wow tokens, dofus coins, eve online etc. prices are gonna stabilize after some turmoil that is about. Imagine how stupid it would be if you had the gold and couldn't buy a wow token for 11 months. That is pretty much the situation here. Greedy vets that want the system to stay as it is so they can get their 25 million zen orders filled while new and casual players don't even engage with the zen exchange

Free market is ideal but you know they won't do it... Can't have anything to good on neverworking.

They can change ZAX rates as many times they wish. That didnt fixed issues before. Not fixing now, and will not fix even in future.
AD is easy to get,, so there is no incentive for player change Zen to AD. And if there is no players change zen to ad,, then no player can exchange AD to zen..
Other thing,, there is other places and ways how folks buy AD...
And as long staff fail to grow up ba**ls. To actually nail them who sell via various websites. No change will solve anything..
It's so stunning, I mean, this is probably only game dev and publishing company who have such high tolenrace of players who sell their currency via third party websites,, use bots, use multi clients to run random q's to farm AD's..
It's just amazing.

They need to just make a shop where all the random stuff that was once available for zen can be bought expensively for AD. OR have a shop you can trade AD for ZEN at a rate worse than the zen market cap.

I’m a Zen buyer and even at 1k, I prolly wouldn’t be selling my Zens because I can get something more valuable in the Zen store and sell it on AH for way more profit than converting Zens to ADs..
