BUG Training Day

I’m on the part of the quest where you get the free mount. Only problem is the navigation buttons don’t appear to exist after I tell the merchant that Sergeant Knox sent me.

I believe that's because you need to open the mount in your inventory. There really needs to be a guide for that but it is what it is. Assuming you talked to the mount merchant and picked one of the horses, you just have to equip it from your inventory.

I haven’t picked a horse bc it doesn’t let me get to that point.

As long as memory serves me right. You are given a mount token that you must redeem at the mount vendor. That's located by the big tree (left side if ur looking at it from the front of the market) directly in front of the bank in PE.

Ohhh weird. Can you speak to the merchant and pick a horse or is it just bugged on that front?

I can speak to the merchant and tell him that Knox sent me, but nothing else.

maybe see if someone will give you a mount (or snag a green one from guild bank) and you can equip it? it might trigger the rest of the quest line to continue

Try opening the vendor window and buy a horse

Are you by chance speaking with 'Engong' merchant? this one is supposed to give you a companion of your choice (one of the four).

But I could be mistaken. I'll try to help you better via Discord.
