Help/सहयोग A consultancy hasn't paid me (IELTS tutor) 51 days' wages & the owner switched off his phone today.

Ma consultancy ko name publicly vandina, but maile tyaha June 1 bata Sept 21 samma padhaye. Regular 3 hours (even 4 hrs on some days).

But on Sept 21, the owner suddenly said ki he's not gonna hold classes any more. So when I asked for payment, he said "kehi din wait garnu na sir ma dinchu" so I waited. When I asked him again, he said Dashain agadi diisakchu..

The last salary I got was for the month of July.

And last Saturday, I sent him a message reminding that I won't wait for the money any more. So he said Tuesday will be final.

Today is Tuesday. I sent him the QR and a simple "Hello sir khai ta" at 6 pm. Then he called me and said "kati kuchukuchu message pathairaako? Dinchu vaney ta, ma rati 12 baje samma vayepani pathaidinchu ta tapailai vayena?" and then cut the phone.

At 9.42 pm, I sent him a lengthy message reminding him once more. The message was delivered and he was shown active until 9.43. Then in 9.49, I called him... SWITCH OFF.

Wow.

What do I do? I have screenshots of our chats, some emails of me sending print materials to their email, and call logs. No contracts were signed; it was all out of trust. But now, I have no idea what to do.

That money was gonna help me with my Dashain expenses, but now I feel like I've just been scammed. I wasted so many mornings, preparation time, and energy into that place and this is how I'm treated.

Can I somehow file a report? Will my evidence without any contract be enough?

Bro if I would be you , tomorrow  morning , first thing I will do is go to his place or this office of him , meet him , look straight into his eyes and ask for my money , and listen his reply carefully, if he gives even a slightest hints of scam , I will break the nose of that MF

Exactly what I did! And he paid up. He was making excuses but I had response to every excuse... and he just paid me.

I actually went to his consultancy and loudly demanded my money. He was counselling 2 students, and I interrupted and loudly demanded that he pay me. Then I placed my QR on his table, where students were also sitting... and he started making excuses for why he was late and I just replied that he had weeks to pay me yet he didn't... So he gave me my money right there.

These people have money. They just hope that we'll never ask for it. Be fearless and go talk to them. It will work. And I took a short video also. They fear being recorded. So maybe you should ask them once politely, and show up at their office a day after their deadline and start yelling.

That's what I did... and it worked.
