Is this item any good?
Found this in an abandoned apartment or something like that and was wondering if it was a rare item and how often do people actually find them?

It's the "oh shit oh fuck oh shit oh fuck" Medical item, a lifesaver when you're dying

It's rare but since it had a limited carry (3 stims) it is useful when you are badly beaten and close to dying as the nano stim is regen you back to shape.

You can find them on guards normally they usually spawn on their vest when the normal is a bottle of water

I don’t recall ever being able to find them on DMC guards, then again I could be wrong. Have you mastered their drops though?

I didnt master drops yee but however you can sometimes find the nanobot kit in junk market only if youre lucky, you can also get the medical cache after you expose the bishop which contains a nanobot kit with full charges and 3 bottles of pills

Honestly that sounds not so great for where I’m usually at in most runs but for someone who doesn’t just farm DMC for money thats actually a decent reward

As everyone else said this can save you from just about anything. I’ve actually survived sepsis with this, and some medication from the DMC. So if you get lucky and get that alongside some amoxicillin you’ll be set for almost every disease, also makes your injuries heal faster.

A few hours after I took this I died of sepsis

Iirc you only get sepsis from leaving an open wound untreated, it’s no guarantee to survive it sadly.

I got into a fight with a guy and ended up with five arrows in my character. Plus I was recovering from three other injuries I got from a dogman. Safe to say I was dead the second I picked that many arrows out of me.

You could just leave them in. ALSO here is a fun fact! If you have a wound that has had an arrow in it, or a wound at all and you possess an arrow. You can repeatedly place the arrow in the wound and pull it out. Do it enough times and you will die on the next turn BUT there are interesting ‘severe’ variants of wounds you’ll pretty much NEVER see otherwise.

That is hilarious thank you for telling me

ah yes Philip just CASUALLY removes an arrow and puts it back into the wound until an hour passes by and he dies from a late stage infection somehow

Your comment scared the hell out of me for a second. I completely forgot the main character's name is Philip. My name is also Phillip but with 2 Ls instead of 1.

I would sacrifice nearly everything in my push cart to make space for more stims. But the box you only need one

The medical kit is just the box the true value are the healing Stims inside, those are rather rare if I recall right, they are useful, if you are hurt and panicking pop one of em and maybe you'll be alright
Although you need the Stims I side the box to use it I believe so it's a package deal but you can take the Stimson out of it I think but not use them
