I am playing against my friends grey knights this weekend and I want to try something than my usual canoptek court/awakened Dynastie lists.

Sadly I don’t own enough destroyers to build a destroyer cult list.

Thought about maybe giving a ctan list a shot, never tried that before, but would be glad about other working, non meta ideas.

Know nothing about necrons, have never played them or against them

Found a good offer and wanna find out if it is a good start for a necron army? I like the price and don't care too much for painting quality. I just wanna know if models are actually useable in game

My main is Grey Knights and always will be, so this is a candidate for an off-army too play from time to time

Necrons are my first army and I wanted to make a list to play against a friend wanted advice on anything that needed changes

I’ve started my necron army cause I love how cool they look and I’ve got just over 1000 points but I don’t really know where to go from here and was just wondering if I could get peoples opinions on what would be the next best few things to pick up, here’s a list of what I have at the moment:

- c’tan shard of the night bringer
- technomancer with 6 wraiths
- geomancer with 5x immortals (thinking of changing to a plasmancer or chronomancer)
- canoptek doomstalker
- 5x deathmarks
- also have some tombcrawlers I built aswell because they came in one of the boxes

Edit: I have been thinking a squad of 3 heavy lokhust destroyers, lychguard with imotekh the stormlord, increasing the immortals and deathstalkers possibly and maybe even another c’tan but just wanting to hear what people recommend

£130, worth grabbing at this moment in time?

Hello all. I have decided to finally dip into a second 40K army. I chose Drukhari first for their awesome models, and for my 2nd army I went with the rule of cool again. What tips would you recommend for someone starting the army? What do you wish you did differently when starting?

Hi can anyone suggest the must have first 1000 points of necron units?

Also bonus if you advice on most dollar efficient way to procure these via my local game store?

Basically, the idea is to have a front line infantry to tank the worst while holding points so my destroyer units can focus on putting out damage. In addition to some units that can cover my blind spots like AT and precision. I haven't got to test it yet, but adding the chronomancer to the skorpekh unit sounds like it could really help their survivability. Lmk what y'all think

Silver tide VS 30 assault intercessors max durability scenario

Hello everyone, I'm trying to recreate a silver tide army and maximise their durability, with the change to hidden / cover, oath and the characters being able to reanimate their bodyguards from nothing I feel this is the right time to bring it back !

detachment is awakened dynasty for the character revival and D3+1 models back up

a reanimator, a 20 warriors block, a technomancer, illuminator szeras and an overlord together are 535 pts so a VERY heavy investment but it should be basically immortal, plop it on the central objective and wait.

Let's say 3 full squads of assault intercessors (450pts of the very best possible profile into them) charge into them, thats 120 attacks, 80 hits, (full reroll on objectives) 71 wounds, 4+ save because of szeras means 36 damages and 5+++ means 24 actual damages however they do not activate simultaneously, meaning the stratagem can be procked and repair D3+1 and D3 from the reanimator so 19 dead warriors on average, then you pop the overlord res orb D6 + D3 and now you have 7 warriors, then its your turn 2D3 again, they are back to 11, now szeras, the overlord and the warriors will likely cripple at least 1 unit in combat,

we have a second turn of combat 80 attacks, 53 wounds, 27 unsaved wounds, 18 actual wounds, the warriors are wiped out however with the new wound attribution system the overlord with his 2+ will likely takes 0 wounds, then the process repeats itself, of course he can't use his orb anymore so only 9 warriors are standing in your command phase ( startagem for D3+1 +D3 and 2D3 from normal reanimation) you can then cripple the rest of the first / a second unit.

Now that I think about it you may not even need to pop the strat at first since a lot of wounds would be lost on the overlord, only need to pop it after the last combat, this setup is obviously succeptible to counterplay such as precision attacks, massive amounts of blast / cleave but still, this feel incredibly durable, hell even if the overlord is damaged the technomancer can also heal him

And yes it is meant to be a blood raven in the death watch

I picked it up in a Necrons lot, I've figured out the other models but a bit stumped with this one. TIA!
