Nice buds fresh but bad trim job smoke good smells good 7/10 for me $180 OTD

Housingworks closed their Nomad location. Recently another closure was posted (tho closure was because the owner had a firearm), but curious how many of the rec stores have closed for good so far? Can’t find much info.

oil is not dark, no toasty taste, hits pretty well for live flower rosin. Obviously my hash rosin carts will hit harder but this still gets me high asf. Strain is Jokerz Candy. its really gassy grapeish smell/taste. The exhale has more of that flower taste. The grape flavor is very natural, I have a grape vine at home and its a nice organic grape taste.

I have my post of orders for verification ig. People thought I was an employee last time I reviewed this specific cart and their egos can’t grasp that jaunty is actually trying to improve, and they are doing pretty good so far. This is better than last months order taste wise, even that was the newer batch too. I guess its not consistent enough yet

Pretty sure this flavor has been around but I think these 3 gummies packs are new drop for this one I got them because of a special promo with any purchase I could get a free 1g cart

They smelled like a sweet pina colada cocktail tastes like it too and you get more of the strawpaya flavor when you chew into for the effects it gave me a slight uplifting feeling -1.7/5

Overall I purchased it already with knowing it wasn’t really going to do much for me but flavor is really good so it does kind of save it in the end

I’ve been a fan of Major for a majorly long time and when I smelled this at Revelry I had to try it. The minute I saw it on a menu I grabbed it and it lived up to the self imposed hype. Crossing Sour Diesel with Kushmints made one smooth helping i’m definitely coming back to multiple times.

The buds are bright and sticky, most of them congealed into a loose mass in the bag. They looked beautiful at Revelry and still look great in the mylar. Which, be honest, sometimes a brand shows you a jar but after it gets packaged things changed for some reason. Here they definitely did not so big thanks to the team for their consistency.

Smell is straight gas and fuel that opens up the nostrils. If you’re a fan of gas this is a great pick up especially for the price. It translates to taste throughout coupled with a tinge of mint on the exhale. Wasn’t extreme or else this would’ve ranked higher. This was hella smooth and my lungs were gracious for the clean smoke. Burn was top tier and clean in each J, burn performed better than some $60 offerings.

Effects were very energetic and creative, you can really get shit done on this smoke. That or talk shit for a long while and lose track of time. Smoking this early you’ll breeze through chores, late you’ll wind up chatting about the eccentricities of water being wet. There was a little body but nothing that would give you much couch lock if you don’t want it.

Major always puts out consistent smoke and the difference in their two tiers basically coming down to yield means a few things. You’re getting a quality eighth from a considerate grower, their quality is shared between bags, and you’re not paying less for a shittier selection. They killed it with their Cali Orange and this is definitely another great one from them that shouldn’t be missed.

To give some context, I have this sort of thing where I go out every couple of weeks to a restaurant and get blazed right after getting off the bus or train. I typically do this via vapes or edibles because I don’t want to come into a restaurant smelling of weed but for whatever reason the past two times I just haven’t been feeling hungry whenever I arrive and if I do eat I end up gagging a ton and feeling like I’m about to throw up but end up feeling real hungry right after the high starts to come and I start sobering up. Not sure if this is normal but indica is my go to strain for this kind of outing. I don’t know if it’s a matter of the strain or my body no longer being able to eat while high but I want to give things one more shot but with an Indica strain this time around. Preferably vapes or edibles.

Here is this week's weather and also for the weekly for rest of month( i know probably useless ) but I have 4 plants outside in fabric pots. They aren't quite done yet should I risk letting them go? It's not possible for me to move them indoor as I won't be able to bring them back outside the next day. Harvest or let grow?

I’ve got a long flight coming up so figured I’d test out some edibles. I have a pretty weird metabolism so edibles tend to be very hit or miss for me.

These taste pretty good! Peach obviously. The texture breaks up nicely, kind of sugary but doesn’t hang around in big chunks. Reminds me of the old jelly fruit slices candy. No overwhelming weed flavors, which is generally my preference for edibles.

I took the whole bag. It took about an hour to kick in but a general mellowing out slowly creeps up and the vision gets lazy. If you’ve had Oishii before it definitely feels closer to the specific strain than I originally expected. It’s not sleepy or couch lock it’s just super chill. I’d say it peaked about 2 hours after eating and hung around for another hour or so, but definitely not overwhelming at any point.

I liked these! Not a smoke or vape replacement for me but it’s a solid “patch.” I wish NY would get over the silly dosing limits because I feel like I might need to eat 2 bags haha. Either way I’ll be trying these again! I also bought a bag of Shiskaberry gummies and they’ll be flying with me.

First time trying a mfny aio excited

Picked this up for $50 OTD.

From opening the jar, I get a damp, swampy kinda earth smell paired with heavy dank citrus. It definitely has a distinct nose off rip. Nugs were pretty good, don’t think I need a humidity pack to revive these. Heavy orange on the nugs.

I vaped this on the POTV LOBO for two sessions. The flavor on this is a mixture of dark grape like notes paired with a swampy, herbal tea kinda flavor. There’s a funky layer throughout the entire experience. It’s very terpy, this batch clocks in at 2.47% terps and I had a great time tasting all of the different terps on this one. There is a lingering dankness that stays in my mouth for a while.

The effects on this are contrary to the “sativa” labeling. I understand in marketing terms, sativa labeling usually means “give me energy” or “uplift me”. I would say this is more a hybrid that leans “Indica”. The head high is nice and relaxing, with a nice droopiness by the eyes. Theres also a moderate body high that is very relaxing and euphoric. I could see myself just chilling, watching something while smoking this. Doesn’t really give me much energy or anything, actually feels a bit sedating.

Which dispensary has the cheapest dabs in Westchester? I get an OZ of crumble for $200 back home, but I understand if that isn’t realistic here.

After not getting high for nearly a week I tried this $50 1g live resin disposable and realized I never had a high tolerance… I was just smoking crappy distillate😭. The quality on these are insane! super gassy and potent. 1g carts use to last me 4 days because I would hit them constantly , but this one lasted me 11 days because I would wake up still blasted from the night before and couldn’t even hit it until late after 5pm everyday. Entourage effect is 100% here love these. Even stronger the flower in my opinion. Instead of paying $30-$40 for a 1g distillate disposable grab a bouket. I got this at animo caribe dispensary in Brooklyn. Thank me later

Look/Feel: Big chunky light and medium green buds with pops of dark green and a decent amount of red hairs, heavily coated in trichomes with some light amber heads

Nose: Zesty orange with underlying earth and light spice

Method: Tempest v2 with a wand and j-hook

Taste: Zesty orange with sour fruit and earth. Black pepper spicy with light soap peaking through.

Effect: Focused, happy sativa. Fairly intense, but without any anxiety or paranoia (take with grain of salt if newer user)

Conclusion: I bought this after seeing a recommendation on reddit, claiming it was a really solid sativa.

Having previously seen mixed reviews of Flamer and never trying it myself, I obviously needed to pick it up. I agree with the original reviewer, this is a great sativa.

Specifically, it's a very clear-headed, focused, uplifting, happy vibe without a shred of anxiety for me. Personally, I like that little bit of anxiety in a sativa, but I understand why (especially lower tolerance) users would not want that effect.

Nose and flavor are great, but surprising terpenes (to me), this might contribute to the effect.

Looks are whatever, not bad, not OMG. The flower is a little older, a little oxidized but I actually received some decent sized buds and quality. Effect held up, vaped nice, probably grabbing another jar.

Picked up at their new storefront. This is maybe one of the strains exclusive to that location? I’m not 100% sure. Anyone found this elsewhere? It was about $45 otd.

The terp profile is interesting. Smell is a combination of earthy, floral, and even a hint of overripe tropical fruit.

The nugs are frosty with red hairs throughout. Perfectly cured, sticky but not wet. Ground up easily but not the kind of ease where your bud is dry and turning to dust.

Smoked out of a glass bowl. Smell carries over to the taste, and at times I almost picked up a mild cat piss type profile. Definitely something funky/stanky about this strain, and I dig it. Smokes smooth though.

First feel it behind the eyes and in the temples before total relaxation and pain relief spread all the way down to the toes. Definitely an evening strain for me. Not couchlocked, but relaxed and pain-free!

i’ve been ripping through 1g disposables in like 2-3 days and i’m wondering if that’s normal or not? it feels awfully fast at least for the price point.

my tolerance is high and so i have to hit it like 10+ times to actually get high so i’m thinking maybe that’s my issue.

wondering what’s normal for other ppl?

Does anyone know if ADK and Adirondack are the same company with different brand name(s)? Or are they completely different companies? When trying to find reviews for these two in this subreddit, It appeared that they were the same company. When looking at the menus at the dispensaries near me, I found these two rosins so got curious.

MFNY Super Lemon Haze Live Resin 0.5G Disposable in pic. 8/10

I've always been someone who appreciates some boof, I've had some BM carts that have put me on my ass and so I've always championed the cheaper disty options and sort of hated the snobby "Resin or Rosin or nothing" group of people.

But lately now that I've been able to afford these higher quality options and exclusively smoke them, all these disty options seem unsmokeable, the high is a nothingburger, the feeling on your lungs is awful, it's just a trash experience compared to the good stuff.

The biggest weakness of resin and rosin is the price, 1g of Rosin for $80 is just dreadful when it comes to Jetty and I like Jetty but it's not worth that price at all. MFNY pricing is better but imo rosin takes the edge for effects for me and MFNY mainly supplies resin products.

The pricing of these products makes me understand why people smoke disty, I can literally buy 10G of Disty carts for $100 rn if I wanted but even with that being said I prefer the full spectrum high, disty feels like I'm experiencing 50% of the high if it's even that.

Super Lemon Haze is one of my favorite strains whether flower or vape. A couple months ago grabbed the MFNY 510 cart .35 and was very impressed.

I saw lots of positive reviews for the new MFNY AIO so grabbed a couple of the SLH 1g.

This has to be one of the of the best AIO vapes or 510 carts Ive ever had. They truly designed this well. Flavor and smoke is very precise. The flavor is perfect SLH and produces a nice cloud each time. Very delicious and potent high. No burnt taste after multiple pulls.

Just wanted to give my own testimonial on the new MFNY AIO. If you prefer AIO vapes this will not disappoint.

For those who’ve had the other strains in new AIO, what else would you recommend?

Another question - I see Good Green also has what appears to be identical hardware. Has anyone tried them and does it compare to the MFNY version?

I’m not a stranger to the work of TKS x Sensei, and if you are, you’re definitely doing your lungs a disservice. They’ve had consistent bangers and it’s always a challenge figuring out what is their top 3 strains at any given time. Seeing a name like Haze in this market sparks attention and you always have to question, “is this THAT Haze?”, and it’s not, because it’s better.

That’s just my opinion and mostly because I feel it elevates the cons I’ve always had with haze. I’ve tried quite a bit of haze this year, and even in years of old, haze always had that signature taste and smell. I’m not averse to it but just never chasing it. This had that signature earthy musk on open but with very nice notes of citrus and pine. Not too out of the ordinary but very prominent which is out of the ordinary in this legal market.

The buds are beautiful and hulking which is definitely a difference from the usual haze samplings i’ve come to expect. This is fresh, sticky bud that will leave your hands stained with verdant stank. It honestly burned clean from start to finish and was absurdly smooth. Taste was less earthy than I expected and more fuel forward and piney with a touch of pineapple citrus. It improves on what i’m used to by miles and I can come back to this strain again and again.

The effects are classic haze and that is what I would bear with the “1.0” taste for constantly. Very uplifted, spacey but also relaxing high that lingers. This has a pretty quick onset instead of the creeping one that i’m used to with haze. Definitely get a low eyelid high that you can carry with you a bit as I find time skipping by on it. It does have some energetic notes to it though… i’ve been staying up a bit while enjoying this. Good socializing smoke if that’s what you’re looking for.

I rarely bat an eye paying for TKS x Sensei when I want to treat myself. Yes it’s usually at around $58 before tax but they really are putting out pressure as the kids say. There are few brands that have that ability to stir genuine curiosity and trust in their helpings and this brand definitely makes the list. I’m not saying make it a habit to spend $60+ out the door after tax but definitely make it a habit to spend that on a consistently good product.

Before you come at me about the score there’s two things you should know - the first is that I hold MFNY to a higher standard than most. I think that’s only fair for this sub considering every review is met with “something something MFNY is better.” And second, my rating system is based on MY preference. I am in no way implying this is a bad product, it’s just not for me! Read the review to find out if it might be for you. Taste is subjective and it is called “Superboof” after all.

In a true stoner moment I accidentally bought a redundant jar of Shiskaberry when I was hunting the Supperboof drop from MFNY so it took me a minute to get to try it. I finally managed to find a jar of Superboof, I think around $48 before tax during an MFNY sale.

After letting the jar get to room temp and cracking it, I was expecting a good amount of scent. Shiskaberry had a strong berry scent that filled the room on opening the jar so I had hoped for a similar citrus experience. Unfortunately I had to stick my nose in there to really get it and it wasn’t very strong. It’s a good looking color, a bit on the paler side but decidedly orangey, and the texture is much more crumbly than I anticipated.

The flavor is honestly out of this world. I’m tempted to say “this one is for the terp heads” but considering the history of “boofs” and the fact that even a non-smoker would enjoy this flavor, maybe not! Clementine, tangerine, and orange. It has this hard candy shell flavor about it, it reminds me of orange Tic Tacs, less sugary and juicy. There is some pine hiding in there as well.

The high unfortunately is where Superboof starts to lose me. It’s starts with bright head high that trickles down into light body tingles and quickly fades away. It’s pretty unremarkable and short lived. I consider myself fairly high tolerance but even 2 or 3 significant dabs in a row didn’t increase timing or effects. This is typically my experience with MFNY “sativas,” though they have this labeled as a hybrid. (I’ve not had a lot of MFNY “hybrids” there doesn’t seem to be many to begin with.)

I got this at a good price and the flavor was amazing so I’m not mad at it, but it didn’t live up to the hype and I don’t see myself buying it again when MFNY has so many better strains available. Im anti-AIO but I wouldn’t mind trying this one more time on the 1g 510s. I don’t hate short lived highs in mobile formats, they have their place too. If you love boof flavor profiles this is at least worth a shot, everyone’s experience is going to be unique so your high mileage may vary.

So I go to a few dispensaries, depending on where I am. My local spot accepts cash and Aeropay. They also have an atm in store I can use my debit card. For delivery, I have to either prepay for the order in cash or pay via Aeropay.

Is this the case for other dispensaries? I hear some places take zelle, credit card , and canapay? For deliveries and in store orders .

I bought 2ish oz flower, planning to depart it, male golden dragon and then evaporate the alcohol off. I usually hand crumble it, decarb in the oven and then make the tincture.

I have no idea what i was thinking when I bought the flower. To start with, my oven is broken. I completely forgot!

So, now I have about 2oz flower to decarb in my air fryer. I was going to crumble it, pack in a foil packet and put that in, but crumbling 2oz is going to take ALL DAY. I don't have a food processor, either.

Then there's the decarbing without my oven. I have an Instant pot, but don't have Mason jars. And I have a microwave, but that's not helpful. My oven is what I've always used, but it's broken right now.

Suggestions, please?
