PNW EV Meetup, Cheap Electrons & Chowder… THIS SATURDAY (Oct 17 @ 11:00)!
The PNW Mach-E Club, in partnership with the PNW Electric Truck Club, is hosting a meetup this Saturday, October 17 @ 11:00 am!
🔌 First stop: IONNA in Everett (11802 Evergreen Way)
Our friends at IONNA are supporting the meetup with a special 20¢/kWh charging rate! So plug in the Mach-E, or the or whatever electric contraption gets you there. At 20¢/kWh, you might as well arrive hungry and with a low battery. 😂
Then we’ll unplug, caravan over together to the Mukilteo waterfront and invade:
🐟 Second Stop: Ivar’s at Mukilteo Landing
Lunch, chowder, waterfront views, EV talk, and lots of discussions about charging curves, adapters and why your efficiency was better on the drive over.
Bring your EV & Bring your appetite. I've called ahead and they are expecting us, once we congregate, I will call them with the exact number EV enthusiasts.
Come for the cheap electrons. Stay for the chowder (or other stuff... they have other stuff is seafood is not your thing!⚡🐟
If you're in the area and would like to join us, feel free to join: PNW Mach-E Club - Ford EV Clubs where we're doing some final planning and communications on the event!!

The one thing that drives me crazy about this car.
Hey guys, the factory wireless charger was driving me absolutely nuts. It was really hard to align and even if you get it right then it overheats.
I’m a designer by day, so I decided to use my CAD skills and try to model a cleaner solution that actually looks like it belongs in the center console. I've been working on this for the last 6 months through many iterations, and I just finished version 3. I'm honestly super pumped with how it turned out.
The updated design has a swivel mount so I can rotate the Phone/Stand 45 degrees to face me or the passenger.
I installed 25W magnetic chargers. The magnets keep the phone totally locked in place even if I take a corner a little too fast. Plus, because the coils actually align perfectly now, the phone doesn't get crazy hot like it does on the stock pad. Anyone with a magsafe iPhone or any other phone with a magnetic case can use it (as long as your phone supports wireless charging, Duh!)
I tried to keep the design clean with a textured finish and the pony logo so it blends right in. I also made a dual-phone version so the passenger isn't left out. The whole thing just drops right into the factory tray space without any mods.
Anyway, just wanted to share this project.

Is my Mach-E GT lease buyout still a good deal?
This is our second Mach-E (the first was a Premium). In June I took over a friend's lease. He had a GTPE and wanted out early, and I'd been wanting a GT, so it worked out for both of us.
It's a 2023 with only ~5,700 miles (31k under the allowance). The payment is $661/month, and the lease-end buyout is $30,305. There are 5 remaining months ($3,306).
When I took it over, it felt like a steal given the low miles, but now I'm second-guessing it.
Is the buyout still a good deal, or should I just turn it in at lease end? Curious what you all think.

2025 GT - CPO with 3k miles
I recently bought a one-owner 2025 GT "Ford EV Blue Advantage Certified" in Star White with the bronze package, glass roof, performance upgrade, and mobile charge cables.
It had 3k miles and was about an hour north of me.
MSRP originally $60,855 with freight.
$43,896 Out the door, including $899 dealer fee, state taxes, and temp tags.
Because it's a CPO, I got Ford Credit @ 2.99%/60mo which was better than what my local credit union was offering (4.25%)
I'm pretty pleased with it, given the low miles and extensive CPO warranty on top of the existing factory warranty I'm hoping it last a long time.
That glass roof and bronze package tho... <chef's kiss>
I don't mind the lack of door handles and I don't see why they get any hate, but I do think the HVAC controls being accessible through the touch screen was a miss on Ford's part, it's very slow and tedious to use while driving.
The only "bugs" I've experienced so far was on the first drive with my family, set the passenger temp up a few degrees and the temperature setting went haywire, non-stop climbing up to 80 degrees no matter what I did it wouldn't go down or stop.... or it would go between one degree and the another back and forth (70 to 71 over and over). Turning the car off didn't fix it, it just kept climbing or flopping back and forth. It finally stopped after about 10 minutes of driving and hasn't happened again. I since learned I can reset the screen, but I'm not sure that would have done anything?
Then, on the ride home from work today I rolled my window up (from a 1" down crack) and instead it went down... then when I tried to roll it up again it stopped shortly afterwards. Took a few tries to get it to go back up. Ive seen a few others with a similar window issue. Not sure what to think of that yet.
Looking forward to finding more of these electrical gremlins in my new entirely electric car :|
Happy to be a part of the herd, although I don't think of this thing as a Mustang.

Well this was an unforeseen purchase that I don't regret.
Showroom floor model and the only one my dealership had and a color I rock with!
I've always admired the Mach-Es especially seeing them on the road and in-person.
The moment my salesman had me get in the vehicle I was sold lol

Any deals on performance upgrade?
Does the Performance Upgrade ever get discounted? Ford has sent me a few promotional emails for $1295 but I was holding off to see if this ever gets discounted or for at least my reward points to come in and help me save a few bucks. Anyone ever get a promotional offer on this?

Researching EVs
I am in the market for a used EV and looking into a 2023 MachE. Some things in evaluating and getting stuck on is…
how is the mileage for a full charge? I keep seeing between 225-250 for the standard range and closer to 300 for the extended battery. Has anyone ever had issues with the range?
I’m deciding between the Select and the Premium. That panoramic roof is an awesome look but is it really worth it? Does it end up getting really hot in the vehicle? I’m assuming that will also affect the battery cause of the AC that you’d use.
Then, how significant is the sound system upgrade? In traditional cars you could always upgrade speakers but how does something like that work in an EV?

HELP!
I was working on adding aftermarket ambient lights on my 2026 mach e select today, one of the steps to power the door lights was to splice into the positive and negative wires of the door module harness, While doing this my dumbass kept the var on to check if the splicing was successful. Now the deal is the lights work, I’m following the instructions specific to Mach-e this splice was done by multiple people who have reported no issues on the mach e forum but I ended up with multiple error codes, I first assumed this was due to the spike in power while I was splicing and cleared them with my OBD reader(not forscan). But the code came back within the minute, multiple errors all related to the door module, I’m yet to do a full reset(unplug 12v battery and plug back in) and try removing the splicers to see if that fixes the errors(hopefully haven’t damaged the module). But I’m curious as to why no one else has reported this issue before

infotainment question
Hi All. Considering a used '23 or '24, but have been reading that the infotainment screen is underpowered and sluggish. That's a deal breaker for me, for something I will be using on a daily basis. For owners, how bad is it or is it even noticeable, does it frustrate you at all or have you just gotten used to it? Thx.
