When I was about 19 I was vibing with my cousin and her now ex driving around the city, they told me to play music so I connected my phone and had them bumping to brand new music of the day when my cousin looked over and said hey I have a good song I think you’ll like and she puts on the song above. I stopped it when the mom came up cause she literally ruined the whole vibe and went from a lighthearted fun time to instantly dry and dreary and was somehow the footnote for the rest of the 2 days we hung out. So I’d like to know if anyone else has a horrible experience to this song lol.

I'm a guy tryna find more 90s bands to listen to! I mainly listen to grunge and alt rock

my top 10 bands are:

1. The Smashing Pumpkins

2. Pearl Jam

3. Alice in Chains

4. Stone Temple Pilots

5. Soundgarden

6. Nirvana

7. Hole

8. Radiohead

9. Pavement

10. Gin Blossoms

other notable bands I listen to are Weezer, MBV, Matchbox Twenty, Dinosaur Jr. and Everclear. A bit of Greenday, Sonic Youth and Foo Fighters, and I recently discovered Fugazi, Candlebox and Kyuss and I'm REALLY loving their music, though I've only listened to their first albums and am planning to listen to their works

This is thanks to the massive Billion Dollar Biopic that caused an unprecedented surge of sales across the UK and the rest of the world

i remember lindtening to an album with this cover

it COULD be latin music and be titled something with "aviones"

If ever an album cover reflected the state of a group the tombstone sleeve of 'THE LONG RUN' could not have been more appropriate.

It’s been a long time since I’ve heard an album as good as this.

I’m a die hard fan of rock’n’roll/grunge classics. Led zeppelin, Alice in Chains, AC/DC, and my absolute favourite of all time, Pink Floyd.

As time had gone on I’ve leaned into more slower moody alt rock/shoegaze/pop music like DIIV, Fontaines DC, Wunderhorse (with a shoutout to the best album of all time - Dummy by Portishead).

Doing Good by Stimpies is the perfect inbetween of these genres.

It feels fundamentally established in the classics, yet also resonates that slower emotional ambience of ethereal Shoegaze music.

I absolutely can’t recommend them enough.

I’m closing with a shoutout to Ms. Comfort from their album ‘Spent the Night with a Spirit’!

Hi - I was doing some research into groupie culture and came across a band formed by groupies called The GTOs. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was other music made by groupies or that came out of groupie culture?

i think its a pretty unique track and I've seen reels posted to it with a mystic ethereal kinda vibe, it has a really unique nostalgic background music with rap like lyrics kinda reminds me of the photo abv

whats this type of music called

No matter the mood, nor the day. This is by far one that is on repeat throughout the years. I remember being deployed mid 2010s~ this would put me in a better place mentally.

Which one is better? Like i am so confused. I feel like spotify has better recommendations and playlists but yt music has variety. If yt music has good playlists please tell me how to find them. Plus even recommendations i feel are lame :((
